Same Also, I've wondered the same about Vosean Joseph getting cut and AJ Klein being on the team. Is there any way Vosean is worse than him? If he is.. couldn't he at least be developed into something more than AJ Klein?!

Tyler Kroft is proving to be pretty effective as a run blocker. He looked great that game. Man, I don't know why Diggs got a bad rep in Minne but he seems like the ultimate team guy for us. He's blocking, getting hyped, making plays, etc. I love this signing more and more every game.

But @High Football IQ said they just line up in vanilla formations and play defense......... Based on his post and football IQ... I'd have to say the film is wrong and Joe B is just spewing non-sense.

I played QB in college. QB-> center exchange is very important (like mentioned) more under center than shotgun. It's definitely a comfortability thing and knowing where the center like the snap the ball. A few inches off it could result in fumbles constantly. Some centers want your hands extremely far up, some want your hands further back. I don't recall a ton of under center when Mongo was in though.

Tre needs to be on DK the entire game and have Hyde shaded to his side. I'd be shocked if I saw anything different. I'd expect a lot of Man-2 this game, but we'll see. Hopefully Milano is finally on track to play 70+% of the snaps and we see more Siran.

Not to mention, some of the balls he threw were actually great balls but it looked like the receivers were slow to turn and look for the ball or they just gave up on the play. Of course, some he over shot and threw a bad ball but some of those could have been caught with better receiver play.

It's just mind blowing to me. For so long, we lose these close games and it's "The Bills can never pull out close games" or "We will never be able to contend unless we _____________" Now we do and it's "We're not good enough because we're winning these games too close" I get we need to beat and dominate to be nationally respected but the fact of the matter is.... we're winning games.

Yeah, this is a little much. They're trending up, they're scrappy, and they're playing good defense but that offensive performance does not scream "best team in the AFCE"

Oh and the dolphins defense leads the league in points against at 18.6 ppg Last year they were last in the NFL. Coaching / developing may have something to do with that.

He took over a team from Gase that was an absolute train wreck. That team last year had zero talent and shouldn’t have won more than 2 games. They knocked off a team in week 17 that was fighting for the 1 seed. You using his current record but not understanding the body of work going into the rebuild is weird. They have drafted and developed well and still have quite a bit of ammo coming up in this draft. They currently have a winning record in his second year and again, I don’t think that team is that talented. I would have to believe that you’re in the minority in thinking he’s not a good head coach. If him going to Tua is the “questionable call,” that’s fair. However, that was a move for future and letting the team develop instead of using Fitzpatrick as a QB to build around. Marv Levy, John Harbaugh, Dick Vermeil, Ditka , etc came from special teams backgrounds. That means nothing.

I tend to agree. I don't think he's been as bad as some people are suggesting. Poor LB play and DL play can absolutely affect DB's. I think that's what were seeing here, a little bit. The DB's look exposed more often when LB's are out of position.

We brought Ed Oliver in to be a 3-tech. When he plays 3t, he play's pretty well. I can't help but wonder how he would be with Star in there. Maybe QJ or Butler step up and become even a "good" 1T. He is still only 22 and I think he will be a great get for us, ultimately. Just need more consistency and see him more at 3T.

Klein has been worse. The issue is, the times they're actually in position, they don't make the tackle or seemingly shy away from contact. I remember a play that was an off tackle (maybe a pitch) to the boundary and Klein was absolutely bulldozed and was already 5 yards late to contact. Edmunds had MAYBE one good scrape to make a play but it was still a 3-4 yard gain. He gets lost in the mix quite a bit if he's not over shooting gaps. The more I watch the LB's play the more I feel like we miss Star. He opens up gaps because he can actually hold his ground.

It hasn't... It's just had injuries.. When we were putting up a ton of points, we were 4 wide quite a bit. Since John Brown injury, we haven't been 4 wide as much. I'm guessing Daboll and JA are more comfortable reading defenses and seeing the field this way and our talent out matches the defensive talent most of the time when we can have Bease, Brown, Diggs, Davis then either Singletary, Knox, Moss on the field.
