Yay, participation trophies for everybody...........jesus, i can finally sleep tonight knowing we've been 2nd best over a 5 year span with no end in sight, mind you. Now i feel a ton better.

In some ways, this is worse than the drought in my opinion

Yep, if the year was 2035 -
Still cracks me up that we gave Mahomes to the Chiefs
Sweats replied to Steptide's topic in The Stadium Wall
But what is Mahomes without Reid? -
I'd rather watch my pooch do the butt skooch across all of my carpets before i waste one minute on this SB.........that's a true story right there.

Gut feeling...how would we have fared against Philly?

.........no chance in hell -
Yep, "maybe next year" should be our new franchise slogan

I know what you're thinking, "oh god, Sweats is going to go on a half-cocked tirade here"...........i am not. The team i watched last night was not the same team i watched all season long. The team i watched last night was the same team that got pushed around and bullied by the Chiefs in last years KC/Bills game. The same team that allowed Mahomes to march up and down the field at will and controlled the game. The same team that forced us out of our gameplan and forced us to improvise to keep pace. The same team that got outcoached and outplayed in every facet. The same team that we had zero answers for. I believe that if we stuck to the gameplan that got us to the divisional game, that game was ours 100%. We imposed our will on teams and forced them to adjust to OUR gameplan and methodically, mentally and ideologically beat them into submission..........that team last night?........that was the exact same team from last years KC/Bills game. Did our coaching staff really believe that they had a hidden gem in the tush push?........that no team had ever seen it before or that no team could ever stop it? You know KC was game planning for this all week long and yet, our coaching staff figured it would be under the radar as a secret weapon. We always tush push to the left (no big secret) but maybe try the right side a few times and i guarantee KC never saw the right side coming and maybe there was a fighting chance, but you may as well just yell your play calling from the rooftops at that point cause everyone knew what was coming. Like, come on now. You cannot convince me that Worthy made that catch. I refuse to believe it was a legitimate catch and will go to my grave believing so. How can 2 refs on opposite sides of the field have two different opinions on the 4th and 1?........one says it was 1st down Bills, the other says the Bills didn't make it.........sooooooooo which one is it? Well, instead of giving that call a 50/50 chance, better to just deny them and give the ball to KC. I understand that the call was difficult at the time, however, teams playoffs futures were being decided here, which just goes to show that if you leave the game in the refs hands, you get what you deserve. Is anyone still worried that some other team will swoop in and steal Brady for a HC gig? He showed who he was last night........the same as every other OC we've had up to this point that rides JA's coat tails. You should have stuck with the gameplan that got us here, kid cause you were outmatched and outcoached in full plain view for the nation to see. The play calling was atrocious, like i'm talking utter buffoonery at its finest. I will say that the Spags CB blitz was brilliant......absolutely brilliant. That's the difference between good quality coaching and a good game plan and average and adequate coaching at best. There were no excuses for the D. Every year i had to hear about how injuries decimated the team and we had to patchwork something to even compete. What are the excuses this year? This "bend, but don't break D" looks more like "bend over and take it", just allowing KC to march up and down the field at will. ........the D once again in playoff crunch time ***** the bed. On a side note...... Anyone notice how KC never panicked? They were smooth, believing that no matter what we threw at them, they would survive and carry on. The Bills, on the other hand, wow.........they looked lost, desperate, undisciplined with very little answers for KC. There's probably about 20 more things i could bring up, but chew on that, you filthy animals. That is all.........carry on.

The "higher ups" wanted to do dog sledding, however, i know that the employees would have been the ones lashed and pulling the sleds. -
AFC Championship Game Week Thread - Bills at Chiefs

I just got back from a weekend long work retreat where we snowmobiled the whole weekend, you know to show employee unity and all that ****. I've been a life long Bills fan and have only ever dreamed of the Bills once in my entire life and that was last night........and in my dream, they lost. Mind you, i was running 10 beers, 4 rum and cokes, 4 Caesars, 2 glasses of wine and 2 glasses of cognac deep at that point, so take from it what you will....... I'm going to get a few hours of sleep before the game this evening.........discuss amongst yourselves. Sweats, over and out. -
Everyone called Dick Vermeil an "old man" when he was 63 winning a SB with the Rams after his 14-year hiatus from exhaustion and a breakdown..........so, someone please define "old man" to me? Carroll is a good hire for the Raiders.
-
I should be disgusted with this and yet, i'm mildly aroused.
-
...........that sounds like a win-win for everybody.
-
Yes, i used an old computer that i was getting rid of and my brother-in-law used whatever he had (i have no idea if he was getting rid of his or not). ..........anything else, kid? I honestly don't give a rats *** what you believe...........true story right there.
-
Yeah, but who would have wanted it?!?.........i can't think of too many guys who would want any part of that hot mess.
-
Yes. I've only had to do it a few times in the past. I used to work in the nuclear industry doing equipment start-up and commissioning, and they have so many firewalls in place that it was never an issue as long as i had anti-virus software on my personal laptop. Mind you, once i hook up to their network, my computer is a slave to their servers so i could never stray from any work aspects and abide by their procedural adherence.
-
I almost feel like we should just have every guy on D just "bum rush" Mahomes in blitz packages on every play...........and i'm talking, like every guy just rush him.
-
Is the ball control offensive approach mostly to protect the defense?
Sweats replied to zow2's topic in The Stadium Wall
It reminds me of when Dallas drafted Elliot so high and even saying, " we need a solid RB to help our D" and at the time i didn't get it cause obviously the RB plays O and what the hell does that have to do with the D? But a good RB can chunk their way down the field, chewing up the clock, which allows the D a longer period of time to rest. Ah, now i get it and it makes sense. It kind of feels like we're doing the same strategy this year. -
Well, it's actually not a story, it's a fact that we performed these tests with our computers and i have no reason to lie about the effects. And to follow up on this, when i am working for different companies and corporations, i am required to use anti-virus software on their computers, on their networks and on their servers......on my own personal computers, i only have Windows, however, on the off chance that i have to hook my personal computer up to their servers, i have to have anti-virus software on my personal computer (but i've never had to do that yet).
