Yeah, business sucks big balls. I went to a funeral for my father-in-law about 5 years ago. It was a 12 hour drive just to get there. My boss called me the day before the funeral and asked me to come back cause i was, "putting them in a bad spot by not being there".........1) how is that my problem if they are short staffed.......2) how many times am i going to go to a funeral that's 12 hours away?........3) you gotta have some pretty big brass balls to make that statement to me any time, let alone at a funeral My work ethic completely plummeted when i got back......i didn't last much longer than 3 months after that......and i didn't care.

Is trading Milano something Bills should consider?
Sweats replied to All I Need is Hope's topic in The Stadium Wall
Not necessarily.......if he plays in that game, there's a good chance we win, however, teams have figured out that if they can isolate and neutralize him, they can take him right out of the game altogether. There's been a few head scratching games where it looked like he didn't even show up, nor make any kind of impact on the outcome. Are you telling me KC wouldn't have game planned for him?........like, come on, man. -
Mike Evans to hit free agency (UPDATE: Re-signed by TB)
Sweats replied to HappyDays's topic in The Stadium Wall
He'll end up back with the Bucs, unless some team wants to overpay for him, which may or may not happen......hope that clears it up for everyone. Annnnnndddddd, he just re-signed with the Bucs.......nevermind. -
At Bama, we used to call him, "one read Tua"....he is fantastic when the play design centers on one and only read, however, when the play breaks down and he is forced to improvise, he can't do it. College could hide his flaws.....not so much in the NFL. The Miami HC has been doing a fantastic job at game planning for ole "one read" and devising the O around him to hide his flaws, but you give Tua more than one thing to think about or more than one option and well, you've all seen the results on the field. I knew the Fins taking Tua as their draft pick was a big, big mistake for them, however, as long as he is in our division, it's going to work out well for us.

Surf Nazis Must Die.......a low budget classic. Yor: The Hunter from the Future.......for any sci-fi buffs out there Eating Raoul......probably the best B movie i've ever seen and it's not even close. The Toxi Avenger 1/2/3........you want B movies?......come and get em. Troll 2.......it's like watching a trainwreck, but you can't look away. Birdemic: Shock and Terror..........watch "The Birds" and flush your head in the toilet at the same time.......yep. Xtro 1/2/3........shockingly bad, yet shockingly good Kentucky Fried Movie.........think of Naked Gun and Airplane all rolled into one

I was born in the summer of love and i will always remember a saying my old man used to say, "we never knew that we were making memories....we just knew we were having fun".

I was the biggest die-hard HS fan since the beginning, however, i cancelled my Sirius/XM subscription a couple years ago cause i lost interest.....there were just no fresh ideas and the show became a podcast of sorts and seemed to have "lost" something in their transition from the studio to their homes.

Damar Hamlin: Would be a “dream” to play for the Steelers
Sweats replied to SCBills's topic in The Stadium Wall
And we can agree to disagree.....i believe he is done, whether cut or not. The guy had like 2 snaps all season and one god-awful fake punt. That is highly not worth a roster spot, not even close to potential performance on the field capabilities and no other franchise would have him other than on the PS. sorry.......not sorry. -
Damar Hamlin: Would be a “dream” to play for the Steelers

Honestly, if it wasn't for the Bills, i don't know any other team that would even have the guy on their roster. Now, i'm not putting him down or degrading him.....i'm simply saying that he is not good. He was good last year for an NFL "feel good" story, but as a player taking a roster spot with his poor performance on the field, if i was a HC around the league, i really wouldn't want him on my roster when there are other more viable choices available to fill a spot or need. sorry.......not sorry. -
Saban doesn't seem the type to retire the way he did, even at 73. He seems to me to be the type of guy to win one more Natty and then hang his hat. I think he knew he would never win another CFP with the NIL and transfer portal in effect and decided it was time to walk away. That is solely my feelings on it, however, i don't think i'm very much wrong on it.
-
Saban knew the jig was up and he could no longer compete for blue chippers, when the NIL and transfer portal came into effect. He no longer held the "market share" and thus, turned Bama into just another college program like everyone else who had to claw and scratch and promote for players across the country. He no longer held the upper hand on other schools, he knew it and he retired.

Yep, this adds value to Davis and thus, is better for us in the long run.

You know what would be a good offer?.........a handful of JA grocery bags from Wegmans

I'm gonna let you all in on a little secret.....he's not very good. That is all.......carry on. -
Looks like KC has a plan and aren't afraid to roll with it every season. I mean, they look like a franchise who just seems to "get it"......i kind of wish our FO actually knew what the hell they were doing, instead of looking like they are just making stuff up as they go.

Officially the Offseason: Tyreek Hill Assaults another woman
Sweats replied to DrDawkinstein's topic in The Stadium Wall
How is this guy still in the league?!? -
The biggest comeback in playoff history though......for what that's worth.

We had a blackout of the game in the area where i lived....Ralph would never have bought up any remaining tickets (like out of the goodness of his heart or as a testament of how much he appreciated the fans?.....bwahahahahahahahahahahahahaha). They wanted people to head to the stadium, forcing us to pay to watch and hence the blackout. Things like this don't happen too much these days, as there are wayyyyyyyyyyyy too many ways to watch the games, via streaming, illegal sites, etc.....the teams know they can't bully the fans anymore like they could in the old days and as much as i liked RW, he was half the problem.
-
Nice, but if you listen to us fans, EVERYBODY was at that game.....in fact, the last total i heard was about 500,000 people watched it....in an 80,000 capacity stadium, mind you. I'm gonna check these out on Ebay.
