  1. It might be showing my age, but i don't even know what a teenage mutant ninja turtle, skunk, chipmunk, raccoon or whatever the hell it is........is it popular?
  2. My wife is perfect and can do no wrong.........just ask her. And for my son's mattress, we don't go in his room.......it scares the **** out of us and i honestly don't want to know what's going on in there.
  3. My son who is now 30 years old, couldn't even get a date, let alone find anyone who would ever marry him. My wife would always try to set him up on dates, but he was never interested. This past year, he found himself a woman and they are planning on moving in together eventually. Trust me, if my son can find a significant "other", anyone can.........he's kind of like me and you all know how much you all love me, so........
  4. And that's a problem. I understand high culture players; however, talent has to be at the top of the list as well. People can't tell me that there are no high culture talented players out there and if there are, then why can't our FO identify them?
  5. Been married for 40 years........sometimes it's a blessing and sometimes a curse, but how anyone could ever manage to deal with me more than 40 minutes let alone 40 years, makes my wife a saint.
  6. AJE has been a huge disappoint to me.........i mean, he shows some flashes of dominance here and there and then just rolls over and goes to sleep too many times. It's just too inconsistent and if you never know when a guy's going to show up, then it's time to look elsewhere, i'm thinking. And Von?!?.........i'm of the opinion to just cuts the ties and completely move on from him.
  7. I know Von has pleaded through the media that he wants to remain a Bill, but i think it's a foregone conclusion that he's gone this offseason and as for the rest?!?..........well, insert name here and color me shocked, as i don't really think there's too many names that are really moving the needle here.
  8. .............my will, my spirits, my feelings and my mental state are broken
  9. Honestly, i could care less about Mahomes and his old man.......same goes for Reid and his whole family thing going on. Zero ****s are given here.
  10. All i know is that society in general is getting ruder. When people at Costco leave their unattended carts in the middle of the shopping aisles, my wife knows my policy........i ram right through the carts and send them flying all over the aisle, with zero apology and they look at me like i'm the ***hole. I'm a simple man and it puts a smile on my face.......don't take that away from me.
  11. I agree with this, however, the thread is about determinations of the 2024 draft, not a "wait and see" projection for what this draft "may" look like 3 years from now. I mean, my initial evaluation may be wayyyyyyyy off 3 years from now, but that's just what it is........a one-year evaluation of the 2024 draft, not a projection of it 3 years from now, so i stand by my opinion until i see otherwise.
  12. The Delta flight i was on was a big mother international plane that i was taking from Japan. I was supposed to take an Air Canada flight to take me to Toronto but ended up on a Delta and flew into Detroit instead. I had zero confidence in that plane, man........she shook and sputtered and rattled at the rivets. I didn't like it much.
  13. You see, now this just depresses me.........UGH. I think Coleman will eventually figure it out and turn it on, however, he will never be an outside WR and for our coaching staff to ever put him in that position is just irresponsible and trying to fit a square peg into a round hole. Davis was by far my favorite pick of the draft......the kid's got charisma, he's got talent, and he's got the makings of being a productive Bills for a long time (at least till his rookie contract runs out). I still don't know how i feel about Bishop. I think he has the tools, but needs a new tool belt to help him put it all together.........TBD. And DeWayne?!?..........UGH
  14. I'm not taking anything away from the crash yesterday, however, i was on a Delta flight years ago and it was probably the worst plane i've ever been on.........it felt like it was being held together with rad hose and duct tape.
  15. Look at the basic formula.........if you have a competent QB, RB, WR (the O trifecta), then you have the basics of being competitive.
  16. Interesting........and where's your list, son?
  17. ..............shocking, i know.
  18. In what world would i ever leave Sanders and Moore off a list?.........ok, Peete was hot garbage, but Mitchell was adequate.
  19. Ok, maybe not Peete, however, Mitchell threw for an average of 3,000 yards/season........he might be a better comparable than Peete.
  20. The football trifecta..... My buddies and i were throwing this conversation around on the weekend, that just about every competitive team has had the football trifecta (three really good O players and maybe not great, but good in their own right and some of them just good enough to be competitive, but a trifecta nonetheless). Bills - Kelly, Reed, Thomas 49's - Montana, Rice, Waters Dallas - Aikman, Irving, Smith Colts - Manning, Wayne, Faulk Rams - Warner, Holt, Faulk KC - Montana, Allen, Davis Lions - Peete, Sanders, Moore Pats - Brady, Ridley, Welker etc. etc. etc. etc. So, who on our current Bills roster is our O trifecta?...........obviously Allen, Cook and ?????? I am of the belief that if you can at least have a quality QB (check), a quality RB (check) and a quality WR (nothing), you have the most advantage to spread the field, become less predictable and create mismatches where at least one of your quality trifectas can consistently make plays. It's a formula that works.
  21. When i was younger, the first time i was ever turned on to David Bowie was his performance on SNL......that performance was revolutionary and innovative for its time and still stands out as one of SNL's best shows. There was even a little controversy as he took the stage as an androgynous Ziggy Stardust. Lorne Michaels had asked him to "tone it down" before the show and Bowie took it as a challenge and hit the stage even more ambiguous than ever.
  22. I say we let Cook walk and although this guy is under the radar with most teams, we need Cam Skattebo from Arizona.
  23. Hobert, Maybin, Losman, Captain "Checkdown", Flowers, etc...........and the list goes on and on
  24. I loved this show. They were planning on a 3rd season, but it never happened. ..........shame.
