All i know is that after SB 27 (Bills vs. Giants), i was driving home from my sisters-in-laws place (where we watched the game) and i got pulled over by the cops.......not for speeding, not for drinking and driving, not for driving erratically, but because i had a Bills sticker on the back of my car and the cop says, "you know, you might want to remove that sticker on your drive home.......you're a moving target out there right now". We laughed and laughed......i had a few disgruntled motorists honk, yell obscenities and swerve in my general direction on the ride home (you know, like i was somehow responsible for the wide right), but the sticker stayed on. It was a wild ride home, but the fathoms of my Bills fandom shone that night.

I'll take 8 all day long, but from the eye test it kind of looked like we were within top 5 IMO

You son of a *****!!!

I prefer Burrows if he ever figures out how to put it all together, but i went with LJ at this point......and it makes me puke saying that.

Alright, so we can at least agree on one thing.

What i'm saying is that the NFL absolutely loves Bama QB's for whatever reason and i suspect it's because they flourished under Sabans' system.....the NFL tends to shrug off the flaws of Bama QB's thinking they can correct them. ......and for the life of me, i don't understand why there is so much love from the NFL for subpar QB's unless they are enamored by the school (Bama) and not the player. I'm not an NFL scout, however i watch a lot of college ball and i never would have went anywhere near Tua, Young or Aj McCarron.....and i'm just a regular guy, so what do i know? Well, i know enough that Tua is down for the count, AJ McCarron was a bust and Young can't play in the NFL, so.......maybe i know a thing or two.
-
And Bama QB's perform like **** in the NFL.......try and keep up here, son.
-
But, Ohio QB's haven't been drafted too often in the top 3 lately.
-
The reason i bring up Bama QB's is cause in college, they are all touted in the media as the greatest in the nation (of course under Saban's program, they flourish) and because of this, the NFL drools all over them and can't draft them fast enough. Tua is good, nothing great.......he was an accident waiting to happen in college and in the NFL?.......well, the nation is seeing how that's playing out presently, but people who follow college ball routinely have been saying how frail he was for the NFL caliber D's. Hurts, although he was the starter at Bama for a couple of years, technically was drafted into the NFL from UO. Young is too small for the NFL and Carolina, blinded by Bama QB college greatness snatched him up as the next Panther savior.......and how's that working out for them? AJ McCarron.......and nothing more needs to be said here. .......and the rest on that list, is nothing to write home about.
-
Here's the list of the past 10 Bama QB's (i could have gone all the way back to 20)......you see any NFL standouts in there?

Don't kid yourselves, not a lot of people were too high on Stroud either.

Just one more example of another Bama QB that can't transition to the NFL.

Tua’s Broken Dome (now being placed on IR-out at least 4 games)

I know when i had to have neck surgery, the doctors made me sign a waiver that they would not be held liable if they damaged some nerves and i ended up paralyzed........seems reassuring, doesn't it? I didn't sign it and they wouldn't do the surgery until i signed it.......it's been 8 years and counting where i am still waiting to have the surgery. They won't do the surgery until i sign and i ain't signing it. -
All i know is that i just watched the KC-Bengals highlights and why do they show Taylor Swift every 2 minutes........in the highlights of the game. I can see showing Swift periodically during the actual game, but why show anything with her during the highlights? #disgusting

You don't want to know what's in the "secret sauce".

Tua’s Broken Dome (now being placed on IR-out at least 4 games)
Sweats replied to RunTheBall's topic in The Stadium Wall
Any doctor worth their sauce would get Tua to sign an agreement to not be held responsible for any outcome, if Tua should decide to keep playing. -
In a presser one time, McDaniel said something along the lines that his wife has a lot of patience with him because who else would hang out with a 40 year old guy who still plays with Lego........not that there's anything wrong with that, however, i thought it strange for him to mention it in a presser and not his NFL highlights......or lack thereof.

I'm saying NYG/WAS under 43.5

Tua’s Broken Dome (now being placed on IR-out at least 4 games)
Sweats replied to RunTheBall's topic in The Stadium Wall
i'll give an example from my own experience.... I played junior B hockey in Canada for a couple of years when i was in my teens. I was an average player, nothing special, but i could check like it was nobody's business......i was also checked many times while i had my head down (1st thing they teach you in hockey is to always keep your head up and have it on a swivel). I was concussed numerous times, but back then like 40 years ago it was like anything, rub a little dirt on it and get back out there. My coaches ended up telling me to maybe move on, as the concussions were piling up and it was affecting my play.....and i hung it up. You know what i did after that?........what any logical human being would do after being concussed numerous times, i joined a boxing club. I had two semi-pro bouts, lost one, won the other.......Arnie Boehm, my boxing coach came to me and said i should hang up the gloves (he could tell that past concussions were affecting my speech, my movement, etc. and he didn't want to be responsible if i got seriously hurt in the ring). So, i walked away from sports.......i was done. Fast forward to today, i have dealt with debilitating migraines since my early 20's........like, i'm talking like these headaches will knock me out for days. I have slurred speech and sometimes act erratically. It's the buildup of concussion trauma......i know it, the doctors know it, however there's nothing they can do about it with so much time after the fact. My opinion is that Tua should look at retirement........he has money, he has family, and sports aren't everything when your health is at risk......especially long-term health and affects. -

Of course they can't "force" him to retire, but they can give him a little nudge.....they can definitely suggest to players and organizations and agents, when a player should start looking at retirement over health concerns. Tua is one major hit away from drinking out of a sippy cup and riding the short bus the rest of his life......i don't wish that on anyone. -

This is a good topic for me to chime in one...... The Fins have been irresponsible with Tua's safety in the past......they know it, Tua knows it, the league knows it and yet, no one steps in. The league promotes the concussion protocol, which they have upped their standards as of late and yet, a guy like Tua gets shrugged off and thrown back into the games. The whole Fins organization should be ashamed of themselves, the league should get looked at and force Tua into retirement before he cripples himself. Also, Tua's head dive on Thursday night was irresponsible from a guy with prior concussions. He should have slid, he was shown how to slide properly and i believe he was trying to play "hero ball", due to his 2 previous INT's and trying to do too much. My 2 cents.- 494 replies

Wanted out of Minny and eventually wanted out of Buffalo, so leading anything other than being a cancerous, "me first" stat means nothing to a team mentality. Don't even get me started on trading for Diggs when we could have taken Jefferson debate.

........about $220,000 per kid i think

I seriously never understood the trade to bring him over here in the first place........i didn't like him in Minny, hated it even more on the Bills.

Honestly, i have no idea what's going on with that franchise.......it's actually kind of refreshing as years ago, i used to say the same thing about my Bills.
