Bass definitely deserves major props for today. I mean, we all get a little nervous when he is asked to kick anything, but he won a lot of hearts today and won us the game. ......and i am not ashamed to say that i like Journey.

The decision to go for the FG - right or wrong?
Sweats replied to Matt_In_NH's topic in The Stadium Wall
As bad as Bass has been, i had no problem going for the FG......at worst, he misses it and we're probably going to OT and considering how bad our D played today, we were probably pretty lucky to even get to OT. FG's........love em or hate em? -
You know what i do to keep my wrist strong?........never mind.

Agreed. Fins fans on social media all off season were saying the Bills had a "fire sale" and dumped Poyers contract, not realizing we were actually dumping dead weight......they're realizing it now.

Starters.......love em or hate em?

I'm a huge gin drinker......hated it for years, but my brother-in-law (not the pissy mattress guy) turned me onto it a few years back. Bombay and tonic, with a twist of lime/lemon......i could drink that all day long.

61 yards with room to spare.......i'll bet he could have hit 71 yards on that kick. My god, welcome back old friend.

Love ‘em or Hate ‘em threads - Love ‘em or Hate ‘em?
Sweats replied to \GoBillsInDallas/'s topic in Off the Wall
Dammit.... I love em, but i'm quite partial to nonsense and nonsensical topics that have zero direction and just wander around aimlessly......you know, kind of like my mind, my life, etc. -
My wife celebrated a very important anniversary on Friday.

Congrats.....that is a huge deal for a 5-year remission. **** cancer, man. -
What the hell is going on with Penn state?........lost to Ohio state again and i have no idea if the committee will even keep them in the top 10 after this. Horrible game plan and Franklin played scared all game long.

Stick around, you'll change your mind eventually

Let's just call it the "thong defense"........cause why not?

You probably would have got more hits on this thread if you titled it, "Buffalo Hotels.......love em or hate em".

Potentially, the Bills are just about the only ones to stop KC from having a perfect season.......not cause KC is so good, but their schedule is so easy.

You would be surprised, my friend.

Trust me, the 5 courses are not much more than one bite and often times, we have had to stop at McDonalds on the way home.......last night was a full meal though.

About 35-40 years ago, hospitals were enforced by law to upgrade their morgues to new code standards. Up until that point, morgues were a "free for all". To not get too gross about it, i'll explain..... When autopsies were performed, the blood, piss, body residual pieces (blood and guts), etc. were washed and scraped from the tables onto the floor, where this all got mopped up and pushed into a floor drain, where it eventually made its way to the sanitary sub stations for processing. The problem was that residual body pieces (blood, guts) don't break down like piss and ****, so it was clogging up the screens and filters. The new codes by law made it illegal to push anything from an autopsy table to a floor drain and everything has to now go to a "holding tank" and gets pumped out once a month. The construction we had to do was completely rip out all the plumbing and renovate the morgues to the new standards.

This is exactly it. People in NA don't understand the European dining experience......It's not just about getting in, getting your food and getting the hell out. It's about the actual dining experience, where you sit down and enjoy the ambience, the decor, the atmosphere, the food presentation, etc........(my wife loves it, i don't understand it).

So, what started this thread is that me and my wife went to another fancy place last night........sat down at 5pm, got out of there around 10:30 pm. There were 5 courses, so that's about 1 hour per course. It kills me having to sit anywhere or any place for 5 hours, let alone for food. The food was good (i had the Wagyu steak), but that's a long time to be just sitting there for food. Also, me and my wife will polish off about 2 bottles of wine.......that's $50 a bottle, so $100 of our actual $450 bill last night was for 2 bottles of wine alone. I really don't know how i feel about this.

Haven't you heard?......it was my dogs pissing on the mattress. But come to think of it, i could always just piss on the in-laws mattress for good measure. I don't doubt they contributed a little.

So, the old place we used to live was basically a backwoods, hillbilly redneck town with only about 2 restaurants in town.......and in those 2 places, you had your choice of beer, nachos, wings, burgers and more beer. The new place we moved to is way upscale with a fine dining restaurant on every corner. My wife is really into that sort of thing, so i take her out to these fancy places. It's not really my thing, but she enjoys it. The average cost for just the two of us to go to a fancy restaurant around here is about $450......that's just the two of us and we end up sitting in these places for about 4-5 hours because you go for the upscale food and the classy experience. When i sit down to eat, i eat and i'm done.......i don't like dragging my eating out over 4-5 hours. I mean, just give me my food and i'll be on my way. I don't really care what my meal looks like, so you don't need to "wow" me with a nice presentation. I actually kind of miss a restaurant that serves beer, nachos, wings, burgers, etc. and i have yet to find anything like that around here. Fancy restaurants..........love em or hate em?

Oh, there was nothing right about it. You put 10-15 drunken construction workers 8 hours from home for weeks on end and you wouldn't believe the stuff you come up with. Bar brawls, jail cells, strippers, dog fights, etc.........fun for the whole family, guy.

Well, looking back on it, Tex was definitely not a good looking man. Interesting.......interesting indeed.
