Hamlin?........i'm going to be the first one to say it, that no one and i mean no one, saw that coming. I guess their basis of standards has hit an all-time low. Good on the man, but like, come on now.....

Antonio Brown says a little girl thrown down stairs at Bills??
Sweats replied to The 9 Isles's topic in The Stadium Wall
As a proud lifelong Bills Mafia member, this is the first i've heard of this and if it were true, i would have heard it from one source or other. Now, i'm not saying it's not true (it is possible), however, given the reliability of the source (and seeing as how that "reliable" source is the only place i've seen this news) i would tend to lean towards AB perhaps maybe having another breakdown and maybe just not seeing things clearly. I can't imagine some fan just picking up this cancer survivor little girl and tossing her down the stairs. Barbarians........you're all friggin barbarians. -
.........sometimes you just gotta know when to let it all go.

If we can go into the post season with a healthy roster, ain't no one's stopping us.

I, as anybody was shocked that Michigan pulled it off. Ohio state had their chances, but the Wolverines played the way they wanted and kept it close till the end and by that point, any FG was going to take it.

I love seeing the media doing their backpedaling about how at the beginning of the season the Bills were a hot mess, they were decimated with departures and in a rebuilding year and probably sitting in the bottom of the AFCEast........shocking the media (but not many Bills fans), as they are back on the hype train that this is the Bills year. The media are dolts.

By that point, the look on the Niners faces was they just wanted to get the hell out of there. -
What are you doing with the spare time before the game?
Sweats replied to boyst's topic in The Stadium Wall
Well, we had a water leak in our ceiling at about 1am last night, so me and my wife were cleaning up the mess and arguing about what the problem was cause there were no obvious signs, but that water was pouring and raining down into our basement like you wouldn't believe. So, after some investigation this morning, it seems that some condensation from our air exchanger (which i took out last summer, but the outside venting is still run to open air) is to blame. I'm still screwing around with cleaning up the water and trying to fix everything so i'll be all set to go for 8pm tonight. Stay tuned. -

Andy Reid looks like the type of guy that wiggles his fingers in front of a box of donuts and says, ".......don't mind if i do" -

I can't really see the Raiders making a game of this, but you never know.......a bounce here, an INT there, etc. -
Is anyone else feeling mad at the Dolphins for ruining the rivalry?
Sweats replied to Big Turk's topic in The Stadium Wall
The Fins are going to go through cap hell like you wouldn't believe. I think this was their last season to finally make a solid push and it's crazy to think how bad they've been this year. It wouldn't hurt my feelings if they sat in the cellar for at least a decade or two........you know, like the bottomless abyss that us Bills fans had to endure before McD, Beane and JA came to town. I do miss the rivalry between the Bills and Fins between the 70's to the late 90's, but to everything, turn, turn, turn........there is a season, turn, turn, turn....... -
That's true, but what happened between last year and this year? They were leading in almost every category last year, Tua was being considered for MVP, Hill and Waddle were/are arguably the best WR duo in the league, Achane and Monstert were running through people. Yes, this year they have been underwhelming to say the least, but the talent and skills are there.......the only thing i can think of for their demise is that the rest of the league has caught onto them and aren't falling for their "gadget" plays like years past. Or.... They have just completely given up.........the talent and skills are there, maybe the heart isn't.
-
You have the chance to take the Lions to OT with 30 second on the clock and completely blow it........if that was the Bills and JA, i like those odds.
-
I just love watching Miami implode........they've got the skills, the players and the talent to compete every year and they can never put it all together. That's on coaching.
-
You have 2 options in that moment..... 1) call a TO 2) run the play as fast as possible Seeing as how neither option was even considered at that point, someone has to get fired over it.
-
I can't honestly believe that the last 30 seconds of that game was mental error or poor clock management by anyone in that organization.......the whole thing looked staged to me. Caleb standing there, not calling a play with time ticking down till 5 seconds left then throws a bomb into triple coverage, no TO called and not even considered. Like come on, man......that whole fiasco looked like it was on purpose.
-
Love em or hate em (you see what i did there?).........but McD and Babich have this D playing with intensity, grit and passion. I mean sure, i'd love to have a top tier D that annihilates everyone, but these guys are playing tough as limited talent and i can't fault them for that. For the most part, they are going out every week and leaving it all on the field. I, as much as anyone gets pissed off that they are giving up too many yards or big plays, but they are finding ways to keep us in games. All facets seem to be clicking at the right time and i feel fairly confident that our D will step up when needed to keep our post season push alive.

You poor, poor fella........I love FSU, but they are so bad this year, it's unbelievable. I haven't missed an FSU game in about 25 years, but i can't even bring myself to watch any of their games this year. -
Oh man, getting sick sucks. I just went through Covid about a month back and it literally kicked the **** outta me. Get well soon, my friend.
