That's true, but what happened between last year and this year? They were leading in almost every category last year, Tua was being considered for MVP, Hill and Waddle were/are arguably the best WR duo in the league, Achane and Monstert were running through people. Yes, this year they have been underwhelming to say the least, but the talent and skills are there.......the only thing i can think of for their demise is that the rest of the league has caught onto them and aren't falling for their "gadget" plays like years past. Or.... They have just completely given up.........the talent and skills are there, maybe the heart isn't.

You have the chance to take the Lions to OT with 30 second on the clock and completely blow it........if that was the Bills and JA, i like those odds.
-
I just love watching Miami implode........they've got the skills, the players and the talent to compete every year and they can never put it all together. That's on coaching.
-
You have 2 options in that moment..... 1) call a TO 2) run the play as fast as possible Seeing as how neither option was even considered at that point, someone has to get fired over it.
-
I can't honestly believe that the last 30 seconds of that game was mental error or poor clock management by anyone in that organization.......the whole thing looked staged to me. Caleb standing there, not calling a play with time ticking down till 5 seconds left then throws a bomb into triple coverage, no TO called and not even considered. Like come on, man......that whole fiasco looked like it was on purpose.

Love em or hate em (you see what i did there?).........but McD and Babich have this D playing with intensity, grit and passion. I mean sure, i'd love to have a top tier D that annihilates everyone, but these guys are playing tough as limited talent and i can't fault them for that. For the most part, they are going out every week and leaving it all on the field. I, as much as anyone gets pissed off that they are giving up too many yards or big plays, but they are finding ways to keep us in games. All facets seem to be clicking at the right time and i feel fairly confident that our D will step up when needed to keep our post season push alive.

what college football teams does everyone root for?
Sweats replied to Sweats's topic in College Football
You poor, poor fella........I love FSU, but they are so bad this year, it's unbelievable. I haven't missed an FSU game in about 25 years, but i can't even bring myself to watch any of their games this year. -
Oh man, getting sick sucks. I just went through Covid about a month back and it literally kicked the **** outta me. Get well soon, my friend.

You guys think this is the real Jimbo Cook??

Nobody follows me.......Hell, even i wouldn't follow me. Have you seen some of the nonsense, garbage-talk, meaningless drivel that i babble about on the boards?.........now just imagine what i'm like on social media with very little filter. I've got problems. -
Well, the Bears almost made a game of it..........
-
Don't do it, man.......take it from ole Sweats.

Kentucky Fried Movie is still one of my all-time faves.......it's obscure and not many people know about it, but it was pure genius.
-
Oh, there's nothing special about him......he plays reckless and undisciplined, but i'm saying that if he was actually coached proper, he could be good.
-
Caleb plays undisciplined, the exact same way he played at OU and USC......if some HC actually coached him up proper, he'd be a freak of nature and a threat to any team.

Week 13, 49ers v. Bills, PREDICT THE SCORE!
Sweats replied to Freddie's Dead's topic in The Stadium Wall
I don't see this game as being particularly hard for the Bills, as i'm not worried about the Niners......it's the unpredictable weather conditions that may or may not create havoc for both teams. It might all come down to a bounce here, a fumble there, some missed FG's, etc. When the weather dictates the outcome of games, it's anybody's guess how it all turns out. -
Just curious, what college football teams does everyone root for? This isn't a "my team is better than your team" type of thread......i'm just curious who everyone likes. I've got a couple, no idea why i like them, as there's no rhyme or reason...... Tarheels.......i have family who live in NC, so i try to catch a game when i can Bowling Green......yeah, a smaller program, but i like them for some unknown reason FSU........this year they are garbage, but they are a really good program when they recruit properly Duke........went to a couple of Duke games years ago and they just stuck with me Georgia........nothing more needs to be said here. TCU.......when this team is on, they're on (which is few and far between these days) Baylor......same as TCU above Teams i like to watch, just because...... Bama.......i really don't like Bama, but i like watching Milroe OU.......this team used to be really good but have somehow imploded the past couple of years. I'm confident they'll right the ship and come back strong as ever. Ohio State.........i don't really like the Buckeyes, but i've been watching them since i was a kid and they seem to put together a really good program every year Teams i really can't stand to watch no matter what....... Michigan......just don't like them, never have OSU........this team will break your heart every year Iowa........they are heavily known for always having a good D, but i don't always want to watch defensive games every Saturday ND......i think the only reason i don't really like them is cause my buddy is a big fan of them, so i create the rivalry with him USC......same as Michigan, just don't like them Just throwing this out there cause i am a HUGE college football fan and have always wondered who everyone else likes.

Bills - 27 Niners - 17 -
My wife is hosting some sort of dinner party on Sunday night..........not for the game, but with "some people" and i'm sure she told me all about it probably 12 times, but i still don't know what the hell is going on. No idea what we're eating, no idea who's coming over, nothing and every time she brings it up, i just pretend that, oh yeah, i'm all over it.......i'm not and i have no clue. All i know is that it's going to be fairly fancy. So, ole Sweats is going to be a bit of a fancy boy that evening. Jesus Christ.

I usually take the Thanksgiving Thursday off of work and watch the 3 back to back to back games, however, this year i'm too swamped with work and can't take the day off. ...........gobble gobble.

......i wouldn't say no.

We saw Airplane at the movie theatre when we were like 10 years old. My buddy's old man who was looking after us at the time, took us to the movie and then snuck out to go to the track and bet on the ponies and just left us sitting there. 10 year old kids who didn't understand the jokes at all, but really enjoyed any and all of the breast scenes, i can tell you that.

I totally understand, however, i was always entertaining out of town clients and the first thing they always wanted was to go to a Bills game, so if that meant obliging them to earn more business, so be it. At the time, that money didn't mean much to me as i was rolling in it, however, changing times, changing priorities, changing economy, tight budget, etc. and i can't afford tickets like that anymore.

Those were definitely two of my favorites when i was a kid........i also loved The Black Cauldron, the original Pete's Dragon and Escape to Witch Mountain
