Where was the defensive adjustment on Puka Nakua?
Sweats replied to 26TrapDraw's topic in The Stadium Wall
How about a D plan for Stafford?.........i mean, he had all day in a lounge chair in the pocket to pick us a part and we created zero pressure. The plays began and ended with Stafford. As long as he had the time in the pocket, he was dropping dimes to Nacua. -
And we should have gone for it on every 4th down too..........it's like i tell my wife, "Not every idea, is a good idea".

An absolute disaster by the coaches at the end of this game
Sweats replied to Success's topic in The Stadium Wall
This game was lost long before the last 1 minute of the game........in fact, i'd wager to say we probably lost it in the 1st quarter when we couldn't stop anyone and let Stafford be our daddy. -

I think 31 other teams might disagree with you on this..........i don't know if you knew this or not, but Nacua is pretty good. -
12/8/24 Game 14 GAMEDAY! Bills vs Rams post game Thread
Sweats replied to BuffaloBill's topic in The Stadium Wall
You got to give the Rams and McVay credit for exposing our weakness on D. They knew to sit Nacua and Kupp in our soft zone and exploit it all day long. Stafford was our daddy.......you can't give a veteran QB that much time with zero pressure in the pocket to pick us apart. We made zero adjustments and couldn't stop them all day long. Everyone wants to blame McD for blowing the TO at the end of the game, but our D blew it long, longgggggggggg before then. -
True story........had to work late yesterday and security locked the gate and gave me a key to get out. The problem i found was that they gave me the wrong key, couldn't get out and was locked in my office for a couple of hours until someone came by to check that everyone was gone. I know what you're thinking, "but Sweats, why didn't you call someone?".........i did and no one was going to answer a phone call from the office on a Sunday night expecting bad things, man. So, everyone saying the Bills D didn't show up yesterday should hang out in an empty office for a couple of hours when security wouldn't even show up.......i missed half the game by then and it sounds like i didn't miss much.

You bring up some good points, however, i do believe he has bad games just like any HC might have in the NFL, however, it all might be hyper inflated in Buffalo as he has made some of the biggest blunders on some of the biggest stages. I think McD's problem is his philosophy and stubbornness.........i think he figures that if something is working, then why change it, not figuring that teams will catch on and re-work their game plans around it until it's too late. -
I honestly don't give a rat's *** what seed we are.......we're in the post season, we've clinched the AFCEast a 5th straight year and we have Mr. MVP leading the charge. Let the chips fall where they may at this point and deal with it.

So, when we're winning, he had the team prepared, but when we're losing, he doesn't put in the work?........i am not a huge McD supporter, but i firmly believe the man does his homework and puts in the work. -
Well, i don't feel good about this one..........yeah, i said the exact same thing against the Rams and got flamed hard for it (you know, ole Sweats might know a thing or two), but i think McD and Babich will have the D step up and actually compete in this one. I mean, i still think we might keep it close for a little while anyways but prepare to have the doors blown off and possibly a good old fashioned out behind the woodpile spanking.

We weren't stopping anything or anybody alllllllllllllllllllllll day, but we were going to miraculously have a 3 and out?!? Like, come on, man.........you can do better than this. -
How'd that prediction work out for you?!?

Bills only had 9 players on the field for the final punt
Sweats replied to Roundybout's topic in The Stadium Wall
I honestly thought we only had 9 guys on the field all game long between the O, the D, and ST's. -
McD will be the scapegoat to hide the real issue this week
Sweats replied to Cray51's topic in The Stadium Wall
A dangerous 6-6 team that is still fighting for a playoff spot...........I said it all week long and no one wanted to listen to ole Sweats. -
So, we couldn't beat the Rams (which i called all week long, saying it would be a tight game) and we for sure won't beat the Lions, so that would put us at 10-4 at this point in the season, with a playoff spot locked up and our 5th straight AFCEast title.........i'll take it.

We got absolutely zero pressure on Stafford who was sitting all day long behind a suspect Oline. Like, i have no words for the game planning we did on this one.
-
Did anyone even ask McD what his actual gameplan was cause that's what i would be interested in knowing.

If someone gives you a holiday gift you don't like
Sweats replied to Another Fan's topic in Off the Wall
Just tell them straight up that you think the gift is garbage and that's where it belongs.......and just throw it in the trash. They'll rethink a good present for next year after that. -
Washed.........they should have sent him along with Poyer on the same day.
-
We seem to have the best production from Cook when he is running to the outside edges, but why we continue to run him up the gut for 1 yard is beyond belief. Our D was a sieve all day long. We kept Kupp in check and let Nacua run all over the field and sit in the soft zones and did nothing to address it. Zero pressure on Stafford, even behind one of the most suspect Olines in the NFL. ..........disgusting

So........#1 seed or a healthy roster?
-
You see, even you guys can't decide or determine whether #1 seed or a healthy roster. It's not a simple question with a simple answer.

Kincaid and Coleman both listed as inactive today (belinda)
Sweats replied to Simon's topic in The Stadium Wall
What if his injury was more of a detriment to the team to have him out on the field until fully healthy? He plays physical and he could quite easily reinjure it or make it worse. I'll leave it to the team and team doctors to make the decision whether he should play or not. -
BTW, we're all major Bills fans in this office, besides Larry (he's a Ravens fan) ........nobody really likes Larry or talks to him though.
