So, i've got a cold and i'm trying to shake it off and work through it, however, my wifes birthday is coming up in a few days and i'm planning on going away with her for about 4 days (everything is planned and booked, so there's no turning back now for refunds). If it were up to me, i'd just stay in bed for the next 2 weeks, but that's not an option. I need your "home" cold remedies to at least get me over the hump. What have you got........

A Giants fanbase sits in disbelief and awe at the ineptitude of that FO, i can assure you.

A swing........and a miss

Disappointment is one's own failure of expectations. I expect nothing and hardly ever get disappointed.

Skip Bayless accused of sexual harassment
Sweats replied to Ethan in Cleveland's topic in Off the Wall
If that's what we're calling it nowadays.......I've entered a few "mummy's rooms" in my day, i can tell you. -
Next year could very well be a rebuild year for the Fins........they will be starting their cap hell, Tua and Waddle are locked up and Hill wants out. They also let too many decent D players walk last year and thought they could replace them with deadbeats and scrubs. They are falling apart and can't possibly hope to progress forward without some meaningful changes.

Did the Bills purposely lose or is New England just plain stupid?
Sweats replied to HOUSE's topic in The Stadium Wall
Yeah, it was kind of like, "I'll see your garbage and raise you some trash of my own".........who knew McD was a shark?!? -
I think it's a "coping mechanism", so in case Coleman doesn't work out, then he can say that he wasn't "emotionally invested" in the pick and it keeps him distant from any and all means of any attachment. I've seen this before with many posters, whereby they use it as a "safeguard" for emotional structure and refuse to rely on any sufficient benign literature in any manner to fuel their own outcome of satisfiable consequences.

I never trusted a man named "Skip".........makes him sound like a 6 year old kid. -
Anyone who thinks Brady will run to the Jets when they have no future, no hope and no QB, is just plain crazy........there is very little decent QB talent coming out in the next draft, so that franchise remains a sinking ship.

Harbaugh: “Flowers injury not season ending”
Sweats replied to Big Blitz's topic in The Stadium Wall
I'm really hoping the Steelers can gameplan to make it work to their advantage, but i'm not holding my breath.........it's the Steelers, after all -

Think about it like this........KC completely blew its game against Denver, like didn't even show up. I understand the principle behind it as, if you single handedly had a chance to keep Cincy out of the post season, then you do what you have to do to make it happen. No different for the Bills yesterday who already had the 2nd seed locked up, so why not rest your starters and let the Pats take the win.......also losing the #1 pick in the draft, so it's a win/win for everybody.........well, except NE. -
Who have the Jets slated as their "Rooney Rule" token interview?

It's hard to say, other than without using stats or analytics in any of this and just using the ole eye test, if i were a team in need of a QB, i would probably reach for one and hope it pans out......unfortunately and as i have stated many times before, this draft will be one of the worst ever to try to get a decent QB with any kind of value. Any team with a top 5 pick, should be looking to deal themselves out of their positions and acquire more picks this year to bolster their roster somewhat, however, teams in need of a QB are going to have to probably bite the bullet this year and overdraft for subpar talent and value. The teams that are hoping to get better by acquiring a QB will be continually subpar for a few years yet, while teams that already have their QB future can bolster their rosters and continue to compete........we will continue to see the gap widen between good teams and bad teams, with very little room left for marginal. ...........my opinion only.

..........and Coleman was the worst player on a team that really didn't care about the outcome of the game? Do you see where i'm going with this?!?
-
..........cut everybody

So, you guys wanted Coleman to have his best game of the season yesterday against the Pats and have him single handedly win the game and gift wrap the #1 pick to NE?........or maybe, just maybe the whole team played half-heartedly with very little effort in their vanilla O (should have been zero surprise to anyone) and basically just go through the motions to get the game over and done with and have no injuries going into the post season. Coleman will shine in the playoffs when the games actually mean something.........bank on it.

I don't know, man........i could see Ward going within the top 10, but there are no QB's this year that are worth a #1 overall.......this includes Ward, Sanders, Milroe, etc. Ward should be the first QB taken, but not the first overall pick.

With a staggering Bills record like that, Lamar is all but locked into the MVP now.

Masterclass by McD - drops the Pats from #1 overall to #4
Sweats replied to Einstein's topic in The Stadium Wall
It could have possibly been Mayo knew he was out the door and wanted to give the Pats a giant **** you before he got canned......is my guess anyways. -
Well, the Bills just need to get Mcdaniels fired in Miami and have the trifecta in the AFCEast.........that'll be all 3 gone. I can't remember a time when all 3 HC's were fired from a single division in one season. That would be one hell of a record for the Bills on their resume.

........which is probably why i can't find a link. I heard it on social media, so it must be true.
