Legitimate Concern With Officiating This Weekend?

Dalton Kincaid- why so underwhelming this season?
Sweats replied to Pete's topic in The Stadium Wall
Logic, my man.......for the most part i would agree with this, however, how are we in the AFC divisional round if teams have figured us out by taking away the middle of the field and limiting Shakir and our TE's? Wouldn't teams have figured it out the past 12 games and actually created the blueprint on how to beat us, especially down the stretch? Obviously, we're doing something right cause we're still winning games, most by 20-30 points, i might add and teams aren't even slowing us down. Every player is getting the ball and everyone is producing. You would think that if teams have taken away the middle and by forcing us to throw to the outside (which we have no real threat) that we would have limited scoring and/or limited points reflected on the scoreboard. I think this is exactly the O that Brady and McD want.........take away our TE's, we'll find someone else.......take away Shakir, we'll throw it to Hollins........take away Hollins, well, how about Samuel.........no Samuel, we'll dump it to Cook or how about Davis or Ty? I don't think taking away the middle is an issue for this team as long as they compensate with scheme. .......my opinion. -
I’m very happy with how far we made it.

..........self-doubt and loss of confidence -
Basically, i had an older computer that i was getting rid of anyways, so all my brother-in-law did was bypass the Windows anti-virus protection and just install other anti-virus programs to see what would happen...... * Macfee allowed "trojan horses, worms and logic bombs" to get onto the computer. * Norton allowed "trojans horses, spyware and boot sector viruses" * Malwarebytes allowed "trojan horses and spyware" It's like as soon as he set up an anti-virus program, seriously within about 5 minutes of being online, the computer was getting notification after notification that the computer was getting bombarded with viruses........almost like it was just one big homing beacon, inviting everything in and then saying it could only delete about 90% of them, but the remaining 10% were "back dooring" everything (the trojan horses and spyware were the worst culprits) And i kid you not, within a day, we couldn't access files anymore, files were corrupted, the memory diminished, etc........wild stuff, man. I've had a lot of computers since then and have not put one anti-virus software on any of them and have never had one single issue. As i said before, if my brother-in-law doesn't do it or says not to do it, i don't do it........he knows what he's talking about and he's a lot smarter than me and he deals with this stuff every day. It's up to you though........don't let me sway anyone's decision.

Levy was 0-4 in Super Bowls, McDermott cannot go 0-4 vs KC

Here's my way of thinking...... I can honestly live with a loss against KC next week if the team gives everything they have and leaves it all on the table......i can live with that, there's no shame in defeat at that point to know that the team gave everything they had and fell short, however, i will be severely disgusted if the team is not prepared, comes out flat, doesn't know assignments, etc.......and that is something i can't live with. I never fault anyone for giving everything they have and coming up short, it happens and the better team won that day. -
Honest answer is that this should be the year and whether it works out like that, i don't know.

I've never tried this one as a pickup line at the bar. Interesting........interesting indeed.

It took 35 years, but finally, another franchise gets to feel our pain

I've witnessed a slew of "Billsy" seasons, grief and heartache and i have zero sympathy for Andrews. If that makes me an ***hole, then have at it. -

I honestly can't say the season is a success until we beat KC in the post season. How do we show the rest of the league how far we've come, but still not being able to beat the best?.........and like it or not, KC is still the best until we dethrone them. This KC team is the most beatable they've ever been and who we've faced in the past 5 or so years and if we can't beat them, then we are just another franchise that tried and failed to make a bid for the crown. Sorry, not sorry. -
John Harbaugh Presser After the Loss - I always respected him
Sweats replied to PoundingDog's topic in The Stadium Wall
The RPO was my biggest concern going into this game. I knew Henry would get some yards and i knew we would focus on him, however, i am thankful that we never really had to worry about the RPO cause i don't know if we could have stopped it. If our D had to focus on stopping the King AND the RPO, i'd like to think we were ready for it, however, i'm not so sure and thank christ we never needed to find out. I'm guessing the weather had something to do with it. -
My brother-in-law designs computers and robotics for various companies and organizations around the globe, so any computer questions i have, i go straight to him. We have actually had numerous conversations about Anti-virus software and his belief is that it is one of the biggest scams going. Your computer already comes with this software and is more than comparable to ones you can get on the market for extra cost. And actually, he doesn't go for any of these, nor have any of these on his own computers, so if it's good enough for him, it's good enough for me. We actually did a test on our computers and found that with this extra anti-virus software protection, it actually invited more virus issues onto our computers. We just use the default software program already in our systems and i've never had one issue since.

If Harbough actually committed to the run game with Henry and the RPO with LJ, there's no way we would have won that game.....i firmly believe that. Harbough's biggest mistake was to abandon the run game so quickly and to not use any RPO's, which was what got them to that stage to begin with. Everyone saying how great of a coach he is, should look at how fast he turned away from what got the team to the dance in the first place and put that game squarely on LJ's shoulders........their RB's were all but unstoppable in the 2nd half and a complete bombardment of their running game would have paid dividends for them. I will give credit where credit is due, however, his gameplan was shite. -

That's our narrative thus far.......we can only beat KC in the regular season and it's not wrong, however, "to be the man, you have to beat the man". We need this game more than any game we've played so far under the McD era. We need to change the narrative. This is our year......this is our time. -
McDermott Coached his A$$ off Before and During the Ravens Game
Sweats replied to jethro_tull's topic in The Stadium Wall
On two of the Ravens TD drives, our D was out of position and gave up the long balls. I don't blame that on McD, our D was just out of position and played too light and never really looked around at what the Ravens WR's were up to and never speculated on the routes. The 3rd quarter was unforgivable. We had the opportunity to close the door on Baltimore and put them down 3 scores coming out of halftime and failed to do so, letting the Ravens hang around. They had their opportunity at that moment to put their stamp on that game and change the narrative but played too soft and allowed the Ravens to make a game of it. I guarantee you that if we don't come out swinging and punch KC in the mouth early and often, we are going home. -

I'm not sure if our D will get many turnovers against KC.....they are much too experienced for that, however, i think if ever there was a time to completely open up our O playbook, Sunday is it. This is the game to not hold back and just throw it all out there. -
I've actually tried to use this as a pickup line at the bar a few times, with very little success..........surprisingly.

College football championship. Notre Dame/Ohio State
Sweats replied to Steptide's topic in The Stadium Wall
I've said it before and i'll say it again, i absolutely hate Ohio state and ND, so i really didn't give a rats *** who won the CFP this year. ND at least tried to make a game of it. -
Part 2- Another disaster by McDs defense in the playoffs
Sweats replied to RoscoeParrish's topic in The Stadium Wall
I can't really see many turnovers against KC.......they are much too disciplined for that. I hope our D has a solid plan in place to just be able to grit it out and not have to rely on turnovers to win this one. -
Listen, i like Lamar, i just don't like the media narrative surrounding him and the Ravens......... and that's the biggest gripe that i have about that.
-
The "talking heads" this morning are still going on about how the Ravens were 2 points away from taking the game into OT, never even considering how the Bills still had 1:33 on the clock with 2 timeouts and could easily have taken the ball down to FG range to seal the game away. It's maddening.........truly maddening.

Sweats replied to zow2's topic in The Stadium Wall
I think everyone knows what's at stake for this one and i think the Bills will dig deep and find a way. -
McD going for the FG in that position was the right call......i hated the idea of a FG over a TD, but if the Bills didn't get the points there, then the Ravens would have went down the field and won. McD is learning when to be aggressive and when to just take the points. I have no problem with it.
