Some people are asking who the replacements will be....I think its way too early to tell. Other teams are in much worse cap situations than us and will be forced to make cuts - will have to wait and see who's available. Its also a bad year to be a free agent. A lot of the very top tier guys will get their deals, but maybe not all. Also, I have a feeling a lot of mid-tier to above average guys will be forced to settle on one year "ok" deals and get their big one the following year. The Bills are also now a contender, we will be extremely attractive for those types of players. I think free agency will be a lot more interesting than people expect - even into April and May. Not too many restricting roster bonuses for most of those guys listed so can cut them later if a replacement is found.

Contracts can be structured in different ways. A 5 year 50m contract could be paid out at 10m every year or can switch it up. One year could be 5m against the cap while another would have to be 15m to even it out for example. Im not a fan of kicking contracts down the road, but this year the cap will be unusually low, but it will balloon up like crazy once this covid sh!t is over. Could potentially sign players giving them low $ the 1st year, but then pay them higher in later years knowing the cap will be much higher.

It only saves 1/2 a million with dead cap. Agree we need an upgrade, but no point to cut him anytime soon. If they upgrade, keep him as the 3rd back or try to flip him for a late rounder.

Doubt this happens, The Saints are 100 million over the cap and adding his contract would be killer. Would have to cut a ton of players. Not to mention all their picks are late in each round. Keeping him out of the AFC East would be great though

Just saw this, it really sucks the Jets and Phins have pick #2/#3 along with extra first and 2nd rounders. It would be stupid to trade him in the conference, but its the Texans.

All RB's are not a dime a dozen. The average ones are, but the great ones are major difference makers. I don't think its worth it to pay big $ during free agency, but if you can get one on a rookie deal then its worth it. Not saying I want one at #30 or that I think they should give up on Singletary/Moss, but if they think a stud is sitting there, it should definitely be in the discussion.

Zach Ertz is a possible option. He might be too expensive, but it would be nice if we could get him on a contract that we can get out of in a year or two with no dead $ involved. I think we need to get younger at WR for sure, just not spend big $ on another vet.

We are more than fine at WR, no reason to pay big money for anyone. If they want to draft one in the early rounds, then I can get behind that - Beasley and Brown are getting older. Tight End would be a big plus though

Every GM hits and misses on picks - some better than others. KC is paying Mahomes, Hill, Kelce, Chris Jones, Frank Clark, Mathieau, etc. all on big contracts (and even Watkins). Beane will figure it out and KC can't hang on to everyone long term. Its all good

He did get out-coached for sure, but don't be salty. I hate to say it, but they were the better team to tonight. We had a great season, lets not be sore sosers

They made The Final 4 and got beat by a better team. It sucks to get this close and lose, but their future is super bright. They didn't make the playoffs for almost 2 decades, but now they look like they can be contenders for years to come. Definitely great things came out of this year!

Agree, I think Butler will be cut next year with his large cap hit and he will kept. Especially with Star coming back.

-The Jets are a wild card. Darnold was surrounded by a train wreck, so hard to judge him. I think they either take a QB at 2 or trade back and build up the team. -Miami should use all their picks to try to build a team around Tua. He didn't look great this year, but I think its too early to give up on him - he definitely has talent and can help him with all their picks. -I dont see The Pats trading up in the top 5 (or the Jets/Phins trading their pick to them) But could maybe see them trading up to the 7-10 range or so if they like a guy. -I definitely think the Jets an Phins would trade for Watson in a heartbeat, which is the only scenario that scares me - especially to Miami. Hopefully Houston gives him the coach he wants and they work things out. Disclaimer - I wanted Rosen over Allen, so I have no clue WTF I am talking about, lol

I realized in the 4th quarter of The Colts game last week that I was wearing the same T-shirt I was wearing during last years game vs Houston. I immediately took it off and then they won. That T shirt will be in my closet or the trash for the rest of time. My hoodie that I haven't washed in months is my good charm now.

Yeah once the 430 game starts I will probably get into that, kind of lol. I cant watch that replay game, it was on the other day too and I had to change the channel because I thought it was bad luck lol.

I feel like you just spoke for me, lol. The more The Bills have lost throughout the years, the more obsessed I have gotten. I have my share of other sports teams that I like, but as the years have gone by - I find myself only caring about The Bills. I am weirdly emotionally attached to them as well. My emotions go up and down with this team constantly. (Thank god its about the playoffs this time of the year and not the draft/free agency in late November) -Lets get a win tomorrow so our friends/family sees the super happy part if us, lol
