  1. Collinsworth is great! Max Kellerman, although not a football announcer is probably the best out there.
  2. I think they focus more on the talent part, not just the the age. While I think the talent they gave was less than they got, they have draft picks. So, they can potentially get more talent, also young.
  3. I think Jones is adding a lot to special teams. So, in terms of just a running back on offense, I think all would contribute as much as Banyard. We don't really know what he can do. Maybe he will be a really solid back up. Personally, I would go with Williams or Matthews. If Shady stays healthy, I don't think it will matter that much. Of course, why Banyard over JWill?
  4. Tolbert. Two fumbles in the Super Bowl. http://www.nfl.com/videos/nfl-super-bowl/0ap3000000634198/Mike-Tolbert-fumbles-Danny-Trevathan-recovers
  5. I do not think JWill was waived because of ball security. Suck on this: http://www.nfl.com/videos/nfl-super-bowl/0ap3000000634198/Mike-Tolbert-fumbles-Danny-Trevathan-recovers
  6. Obviously the Bills! But I will also cheer for the Cards and the Rams. I lived in PHX and grew to like the Cards and I live in SoCal now, so I'll go for the Rams. My wife is from Chicago, so the Bears, too.
  7. Definitely bring in Webb. Probable wont use him anyway, but way better than Yates. He made a couple nice plays this preseason. He threw about a 50 yard TD. Three Int's, though.
  8. Then your response to that other post is confusing. The poster said that the Sammy trade raised his eye brows, etc. in terms of McDermott's decisions. And your response implied that McDermott either didn't know about the trade or was not responsible for it.
  9. I guess I missed that. Just to clarify, Beane traded Watkins without McDermott knowing?
  10. Great post. Just to add. I think the consensus two months ago was that we just had to tweak a few things to make the playoffs, since we've been at .500 for three straight seasons. Or we go for a tank to get the best possible QB. But we seem to be doing something else that appears a bit nonsensical and perhaps driven by ego. E.g. getting rid of some young talent and keeping old average or below average guys. Therefore, it looks like this season lacks the optimism of being close and the honesty of a tank. I'll go on record and say three years 15 wins with no more than 6 wins in a single season.
  11. This is like the Sound and the Fury mixed with Of Mice and Men. Love it! Has to be fiction. Has to be.
  12. Dave. I hate to stereotype, but...ahh...um...nevermind.
  13. OP, please don't ask. I hate for my home town football fans to show that side of its character. Let's stick to sharing our love for the same football team.
  14. Interesting post. Two almost worthless players (for different reasons) with big contracts. I wonder if Cleveland would even consider this, even though they get the better player (by far). They dealt with Gordon and Manzel, recently. At least Osweiler is guaranteed to be available to play. Who knows with the fat captain!
  15. Nobody said savior. In fact, I think Peterman is more along the lines of tank in everyone's minds.
  16. Just get him on the field. He is a multi millionaire. He enjoys life. If he is eligible, put him in. Integrity and capital conflict at times. Get him in the reg games.
  17. Exactly. And ask T-Bomb if he thinks Kaepernick is well spoken. Hey T-Bomb. Is Kaepernick well spoken? How about Cornel West? Eldridge Cleaver? Chuck D? Bob Marley?
  18. We had a season to see while on a rookie contract and only got a 2nd and an average CB. Have to roll those dice.
