  1. Watson & Mahomes will be gone in top 20 people
  2. he will be guarding when tyrod goes depp to watkins
  3. Adams is the pick. Hate that!
  4. While Davis was a likely pick for us - Williams is still there! Now Adams, Hooker or Lattimore shd be there for us
  5. Ha! expected Tennessee to get a WR! Working well for the Bills so far.
  6. tennessee working the phones to trade down right to the last few seconds
  7. Fournette! Perfect - now igf one more QB goes before 10 - we will have Lattimore, Adams or Hooker!
  8. I love this for the Bills too YOLOINOHIO. First an NFC team gets all the picks Jets dont get Trubisky Now if one more QB goes before 10 - we are in prime position for a trade with the browns and the cards Likelihood of Tennessee trading down from 5 went down
  9. Good. at least an AFC team didnt get all the picks
  10. yup I used wonder about the one move up trade a lot till I figured out why teams do it
  11. Adams or Thomas or trade down here for SFO, no?
  12. the one sure pick in the entire draft - as predicted by most everybody on this board is in!
  13. Ha FOr those criticizing the Bills for not drafting enough QBs, Browns have drafted 6 QBs in the first three rounds isince 2005 - and have the worst winning percentage
  14. Yes, along with SFO and Tennessee
  15. ESPN talking about lotsa teams wanting to trade down
  16. Why didnt I think of that? Thanks just did the same.
  17. 1. Talk about Brandin Cooks being worth more than #32. 2. Tom Brady draft position 3. Gronk in round 2 4. Stephon Gilmore being better than any CB in thsi draft class 5. Gillislee just to make your point
  18. Ha! That is criticism that is the exact opposite of the earlier criticism of drafting BPA, now isnt it? In basketball, with only 5 guys on the court for most of the time - trading down rarely helps - but in footballl many more guys contribute on the field. Also this is a flat draft without a consensus top 10 - so many of us feel the difference between #10 and #25 is not as much as an extra 2nd and 3rd - especially since Bills have so many holes to fill. That said, if you feel, for example, that Mahomes is a must have and we need him at 10 - I can understand your criticism - since in your mind anybody we draft at 25 is mediocre relative to what you want at 10. In fact, I am hoping there are GMs from other teams who think like you - since that is the only way we will be able to trade down. I just dont feel there is a must have player at 10 for the Bills.
  19. After devouring reams of internet words, watching hours (yes it shd add up to at least 50 hours of various videos), here is my dream scenario: Bills do two trades: first with the Browns' #12 (who probably want to draft Trubisky - who the Saints also appear to have some interest in) or the Cardinals' #13 (who probably want to draft Mahomes or Trubisky) for a third rounder. second trade with Tennessee (who wants a WR), Redskins or Tampa Bay (who both want Fournette or McCaffrey), Denver (who may want a QB), Lions (who may want Howard if he is still available) or the Texans or Chiefs (who want a QB) for a#2 and #4. Then Bills have a #1, 2 #2, 2 #3, 2 #4 to play with. Draft BPA from LB - Redick, Foster, Cunningham; WR - Davis or Williams (whoever is not taken), CB Humphrey, S Peppers - whoever is left Round 2 -WR - Zay Jones, JuJu, Curtis Samuel OT - Garrett Bolles, Ramczyk; LB - Cunnningham; CB Gareon Conley, Jalen Tabor, Sidney Jones, Awuzie, S - Peppers; TE - Njoku - depends on who is left and who we draft in Round 1 Round 3 - Too many possibilities to list here because it depends on what we pick in rounds 1 and 2.
  20. I was talking to a podiatrist who has decent idea what Sammy is going through. He said that sometimes the foot is structurally sound, but you gotta play through pain. There is a good chance that is Sammy's situation. Contrary to popular opinion, I expect to see Sammy play a full / nearly full year so long as the Bills are contending. This year and the next are contract years for him. That said, it is strange he is playing pick up basketball. If the foot was healed, why wasnt he at Veterans Camp practicing? If it was not healed, it was stupid to put it at risk. The only "rational" explanation I can think of is - his doctors cleared him after Veterans Camp and actually suggested he test it out. Meeting healthy strangers is also a valid hypothesis:)
  21. Ittakestime: I am not suggesting the other factors are not important. In fact, you will notice that I am suggesting drafting for need in going after WRs/CBs/LBs. In fact I add " unless the talent level differences are not huge enough when drafting for need is relevant" to my BPA statement. I believe you and I are saying the same things. My point is simply that - One has to evaluate need vs. value. With the abundance of WR depth in the draft, there may not be value to picking a WR at 10 despite it being an acute area of need.
  22. Thanks. You are too kind.
  23. This is a no-brainer. We have to match. If we are in cap purgatory - we can always re-work Glenn or Dareus. The drop off from Gillislee to Williams (just based on last year) is steep. With a run heavy strategy, we cannot go into the season with just Shady on the roster given he is getting older and his hamstring will always be an issue. As the previous poster said - 5th / 6th round pick plus 2 million cap relief aint good enough to cover the drop off from Gillislee to WIlliams.
