  1. Note to McD - That is how you defend a Hail Mary!!!
  2. This was the bit that got me all mushy
  3. no worries. I have been as guilty of that as anybody else on the board. You are good.
  4. My money is obviously on Cowherd winning the bet
  5. yup. somehow cant seem to let go. sry.
  6. would be even sweeter if KC stumbles and we are 12-3 with a shot at a first round bye and play our starters and clinch the bye
  7. 3-way after div tie-break - too lazy to figure out which of the 4 gets the bye - so ex-ante it is one out of those 4😀
  8. Ok that is very similar to my scenario b.except the Steelers lose to Browns instead of Colts. The only issue is that if that happens and the Brownies win tonight -they may join the 13-3 party and I didn’t want to get into 4 team tie-break scenarios
  9. A few Pats fans bemoaning that the best non Patriots AFCE team of the past two decades comes up at the same time as Brady’s departure. But methinks Bills rise did play a small part in Brady departure - both Belichick and Brady saw the writing on the wall. Brady left for greener pastures and Belichick wants to reload.
  10. u basically summarized what I said but used 10% of the words! Kudos on the efficiency. one minor edit to your brief post - if we are tied with KC, steelers can’t have worse record since we lose the tiebreak.
  11. NY Times have it 5 to 10 times higher at 1-2%. Just saying.
  12. The Chargers almost beat the Chiefs this season, no? They have pretty much played the Chiefs the best. And this season - there really is no home field - Arrowhead is not really rocking That doesn’t detract from the fact that the joint probability of KC losing to both Saints and Chargers and the Bills winning out and Steelers winning 2 out of 3 is low. But by itself, I don’t think Lynn playing for his job and beating the Chiefs is improbable. Especially this season with COVID hanging over players’ heads. lose a couple of key players and anything can happen
  13. ok, after KC beating the Fins a first round bye for us is going to have only a 1-2% probability - but here are the narrow paths - let us say we have to win our last 3 games to get to 13-3. Basically we are in Dalton to Boyd Hail Mary territory - but, hey that did happen, no? a. KC loses their last three and Pitt loses at least one game and Browns lose at least one game - we are tied with Pitt (hold tiebreaker) at worst b. more realistically, let us say KC beats Atlanta but loses the other two (Saints and Chargers) - we are both 13-3 but they hold head to head tie break over us - then Pittsburgh needs to get to 13-3 so it is a 3 way tie break - which means Pittsburgh needs to win 2 and lose one (say, Colts).
  14. Expecting a great game from the Bills Defense - Epenesa, Oliver, Edmunds, Poyer and Tre in particular. Will we see a pick six today?
  15. First few years I thought he was overrated .. but last season may have been his absolute best coaching effort. This season, notwithstanding the 11-1 record, he has been ok. not elite not crappy - but decent
  16. Given Ryan Wilson is trailing, his incentives are to make contrarian picks - this has nothing to do with what he really thinks:)
  17. This is the more egregious tweet How can Allen be fading after a week in which he threw 375 yards, 4 TDs with a 139+ passer rating (was AFC Offensive Player of the Week) and his MVP odds went from 34 - 1 to 13 - 1 (which is 3rd best)?
  18. those other scenarios do not hand the ball back to the other side maybe😀stakes higher - have to be extra careful
  19. he had a near fumble that was overturned on review just a bit earlier. i think being a bit careless with the ball twice is what caused the benching
  20. i am not saying McD was wrong to bench. i am saying the nfl stats guys are wrong to attribute the fumble to Allen.
  21. and yet in the official stats that fumble goes on Allen. smh @ nfl stats guys
  22. Playoff Predictor: If the Bills win out, KC win puts our chances of a bye at 3% and a Dolphins win puts it at 39%. Those are not impossible odds people - remember KC still has to play Saints and Steelers still have to face Browns. Please please root for Miami to beat KC.
  23. oh and don’t forget to root for the Jets to win.
  24. Great question. I want Miami to win. That gives us a shot at the bye. We are ahead in the Div race and play em week 17. Sry to be in the minority here - but I am not scared of Miami. Maybe I hv problems lol. Played the playoff predictor - a few games have to fall our way - but Miami besting KC and us beating Pittsburgh gives us decent odds at a bye (basically aiming for KC and Pitt to lose one more game each in the last 3 they play to give us a 3 way tie)
