  1. Are you taking requests at the Bandstand? Steve Smith Sr.
  2. Run a 1973 Bills offense, rather run-centric - LOL!!!! 😎 1973 Bills Offensive Stats: 213 pass attempts. 96 completions. 996 Yds. 60 1st Downs and 4 Tds. 4.1 NYPA!. That was it - in a 14 game season! Fergy's rookie year! 605 rush attempts. 3088 Yds. 152 1st Downs and 20 TDs!. 5.1 YPC. So a run play for Bills in 1973 netted 25% more yds than a pass attempt. Wow has the game changed.
  3. Jaquan was so worried he signed wIth the Raiders last week!
  4. Not true as Poyer started all 6 games he played in 2016. Had a Season ending injury in game 6. He was a starting safety for CLE coming out of camp that year. So playing the vaunted Rex Ryan 10 man D.
  5. The introduction of the Billy Buffalo mascot was directly responsible for the drought.
  6. Not sure it matters either way. Exactly one SB winner in top 10 (TB) and in bottom 10 (LAR) in the 5 year period.
  7. Yes but Rams had Whitworth and Havenstein, 2 soilid LT/RTs in 2020 and 2021 so their greater need was at OG. Scouting analyses when he came out had him assessed somewhere between a starting RT and backup RT https://bleacherreport.com/articles/2824347-david-edwards-nfl-draft-2019-scouting-report-for-los-angeles-rams-pick https://www.nfl.com/prospects/david-edwards/32004544-5733-7483-3a0b-c9cc2e7a9e47 https://www.buckys5thquarter.com/2019/4/25/18342882/nfl-draft-2019-david-edwards-scouting-report-wisconsin-football
  8. Not sold on this kid. Did nothing at PSU. And had only one year of production at a non Big5 school and, unlike Knox, didn't have 2 NFL pro bowlers hogging targets. Can't block a lick So is really another slot guy. Likely still on the board at pick 130
  9. Edwards has never played C at any level of football. McGovern has with Cowboys and at PSU. Bates has subbed for Morse already. I am curious if Bills give Edwards reps at RT in camp to compete with Brown as Edwards played RT exclusively at Wisconsin.
  10. Happy to see this. Let's OBD look at an OT/G in draft. The SYR guy or Mauch would fit the bill 😀
  11. Philips plays 3T like Ed as Philips can not hold up to double team blocks as a 1T. These two can be in on pass rush downs and be effective
  12. DT in Rd 1. This place will go thermonuclear for sure. Seriously this could be a double up year in our draft where Bills take a 1 and a 3 technique if no one is signed in FA. Not a good year for DT though so can see Poona Ford or another FA being signed before draft.
  13. One thing to consider is Motor ran vs light boxes and DH vs 8 man looks predominantly
  14. Gotcha - here is Rams view on his re-signing status https://www.turfshowtimes.com/2023/3/20/23649358/rams-free-agent-offensive-line-starters-2023
  15. This is first half of his season opener so unless he was hurt in preseason I'm not giving him a hall pass here. Beat badly by a 335 lb man on a spin move on play one then looks lost on a stunt on play two.
  16. Yes - season opener last year THU night vs Rams SEP 8, 2022.
  17. I knew I saw #73 on Rams play last year. Not his best game as Jordan Philips had 2 sacks in 1st half.
  18. L'il Dirty has new food truck franchise opportunity https://www.thesun.co.uk/living/2395717/dutch-food-truck-is-selling-my-little-pony-burgers-made-from-horse-meat/
  19. I have to believe Bills take a WR in first 3 rounds to challenge for #2 spot and to possibly replace Davis next year. One must remember how they develop rookies and limit their snaps (see Davis in 2020 and Shakir in 2022) through the first year. Given Sherfield is on a 1 year deal it makes even more sense to get a solid WR on roster via draft this year.
  20. Signed with the NY Football Giants https://www.cbssports.com/nfl/news/2023-nfl-free-agency-giants-former-colts-lb-bobby-okereke-agree-to-4-year-40m-deal-per-report/
  21. RBs in their prime don't average 3.5 YPC. Singletary averaged 4.6 YPC and out rushed Fournette by 150 yards despite having 177 carries versus 189 for Fournette. And Singletary had 5 Rushing TDs vs 3 for Fournette. Total TDs for both were equal at 6. Singletary had a higher percentage of runs for a 1st down too. Fournette had more receiving yards but also had twice as many receptions than Singletary. It would appear the Bucs used short passing game as extension of their woeful running game. With all that said Singletary still averaged 5.1 yards per touch vs 4.5 for Fournette. My guess is OBD would bring Motor back before signing Fournette.
  22. Gotcha. I just want our next MLB not to bite on play action or misdirection as much and to hit the right hole more often on run reads.
