11/21 Colts at Bills, Postgame Postmortem Thread
BananaB replied to Hapless Bills Fan's topic in The Stadium Wall
With Covid availability is what could make and break the season. Star and Spencer are key parts of this team that are very hard to replace at this moment and if they got the shot they could of helped. As a fan it sucks but all we really do is watch the game. If I was his teammate I’d be really pissed off because with all the work put in I’d hate to let the group down and I’d hope every other player would think the same. Jmo With all the studies on the risks of football and the problem players have after I don’t think the vaccination is a very big deal. At the same time it’s probably best we deal with this crap in week 10 instead of playoffs. That’s if we make it. -
Why play nickel all game against that offense?

Funny thing was, we knew from the opening drive what they were gonna do and they did it for the whole game. It ain’t working, try something different -
Last week he had 2 TDs that the other two guys just can’t make
-
Breida looks way better then the other two slugs. Get him rolling alittle more and teams will have to gameplan for our run, right now no one gives a ***** about it. Teams are only focused on the pass.

Go for 2 when the game is over but try a long FG in the wind and rain when it’s still in reach. And then no go for the onside kick. Haha -

Long FG attempt in wind and rain countered by a Colts rushing TD. Ed Oliver ran right by the handoff on that long run -

This game is gonna be lost because of availability of a couple guys who decided not to get vaccinated. Key players we need against the Colts. -
Spencer Brown placed on Covid List [Edit: Thurs 11/18]

Doyle gotta be an option at this point. The group that played in Jacksonville can’t be assembled together ever again. -
Let’s just hope he doesn’t hit another pedestrian
-
The genius Sean McVay. 🤣
-
He looked good. Speed kills and it’s pretty noticeable how much faster he is compared to the other 2. Just gotta hold onto the ball. That run looked really good until the fumble too

Bills letting another ***** team hang around. -
It really does bud. Good work ethic is great for practice but if it doesn’t lead to production on Sunday your not gonna have a long career. Most people agree RB is the easiest position to fill. You see almost every year a good starter goes down and some unknown steps into his place. Mitchell this year, Robinson last. Pollard proved highly valuable when Zeke went down last year. Eckler is another guy that stepped up when Gordon was out. It’s very common. Meanwhile in Buffalo we got two guys who aren’t producing and some are worried about giving another guy an opportunity. Just doesn’t make sense to me
-
If you don’t get it done Sunday what you do during the week does not matter. It’s that simple
-
At this point Singletary and Motor haven’t earned anything either. Practice is practice but if your not getting it done in a game your only hurting the team. At some point the coaches gotta say let’s give the other guy a shot
-
I’m not sure who the better back is at this point and feel it’s really hard to judge with their snap counts and situations used. Devin seems to get more yards per carry but gets no attempts in the red zone where plays are more condensed. That’s tough running that they heavily rely on Moss for…. Like I said, I was looking forward to one guy getting more carries this week. The rotation they have is just not working. If Devin could get back to the way he played in his rookie year I think this board would be pretty satisfied, it’s possible he just needs carries. Everyone talks about giving Allen attempts early to get in rhythm, what about the running backs who carry the ball less then 10 times a game? In close games it’s less then that, their attempts are blown up because of a few blowouts.
-
Hopefully he sits. I’m eager to see a change in how the unit is run and even though I think Moss would be the better option I was looking forward to seeing Singletary get more touches and hopefully get into more of a rhythm.

Is the #1 seed that big of a deal anymore?
BananaB replied to streetkings01's topic in The Stadium Wall
Bye would be big. More worried about the offense then a bye right now. Been saying all year they haven’t played their best football yet, at this point I’m not sure if we have seen their best already.
