  1. They think Allen and the O should do it all so they ain’t in that position for McD to lose late. Just like McDermott himself. Part of what made the Pats great in the early 2000s was all about finishing close football games on both sides of the ball. You’re not gonna play perfect football every week but it is crucial to play your best in the final minutes when the game is on the line.
  2. Keep at it with the excuses. Doesn’t matter how many injuries you have, Mac Jones should not be going the length of the field in the final 2 minutes. I’ve been here through more misery than this pal
  3. What’s the excuses for the other loses? They are starting to pile up. Doesn’t matter if a team is 9-1 or 2-9, no lead is safe with McD calling the plays
  4. Guess McD should get on the phone and beg Leslie to come back
  5. Last paragraph basically says it all. McD needs the O to play perfect because his D can’t get the job done in crucial situations. If McDs D could have made a stop in the last two minutes the game there wouldn’t be OT. I think that would be the only time us people with the pitchforks would be cheering. Instead they gave up the FG then the TD.
  6. He doesn’t hold everyone accountable, just a few. Doesn’t really hold any vet accountable for poor play.
  7. McD wouldn’t be the HC right now if Allen wasn’t the QB. And a lot of Bills previous coaches would have been given more time if they had a QB like Allen playing at such a high level. It’s wasn’t McD who turned Allen into something great, he’s the same clown that seen Peterman every day in practice and thought he was a starter. He broke the drought with a 9-7 record, we had other coaches finish the season with 9-7 records but never had the same luck. Until Josh raised his game, that’s when we consistently started making playoffs. McD just was the lucky SOB to be HC at the time. O has had struggles this year, Allen has struggled but you can’t play perfect football every week and you can still win games despite it. We had our chances at the end and McDs D has totally let us down. Even against bad teams. When we play good teams it’s not gonna matter how many points the O scores because other good teams can match it against his D. And when it comes down to the final minutes we can’t just be relying on our O to have the ball last.
  8. Allen takes blame for everything this offense does wrong. Doesn’t mean he is, he’s just not gonna throw anyone under the bus. That’s the leader he is
  9. The only stop they made in a close game was Giants, and they kind of got rescued by refs there.
  10. He caught the ball over his head and it got knocked out at his waist. It’s a catch
  11. McD is soft that’s why. Jesus Christ Mac Jones toasted our D in the last two minutes.
  12. It doesn’t matter, at this point there are no moral victories. Especially after losing to and barely beating some lower level teams. Games are 60 minutes but not all outcomes are determined by playing good football for 60 minutes. Just how it is. Sometimes you just gotta make a play at the end and that will be enough. It’s what made the Patriots great in the early 2000s. When time starts to close our O has been making plays all year in tight games, the D on the other hand is absolutely terrible. You can play crappy the whole game still be in a position to win and you can play great and still be in the position to lose. This year we always lose
  13. Davis read wrong. The leverage didn’t matter, he beats the CB either way. The play of the safety dictates the option. The middle of the field is wide open, why try to throw over a defenders head when there is an easier pass in the option.
  14. The difference in the plays is that on previous plays there is defenders in the middle of the field, last night it was wide open and a much easier throw under pressure. Both Allen and Davis said it was an option route, which kind of contradicts the previous plays. The all out blitz probably determined that so the QB could get the ball out quick
  15. They gave up 30 points in 30 minutes and we were up once in regular time and once in OT. All they had to do was make a stop. Games like this are starting to add up.
  16. Listening to him go on about missed plays that cost us points is brutal. D gave up 30 points in just over 30 minutes and two times the O left the field and all they needed was a stop. You think he’d talk about that, not a ***** chance. Sooner he’s out of here the better.
  17. I thought once they got over half they should have been in a 4 down offense. Playoff hopes are slim and a win is much better than a tie. I also had no faith in our D to make any kind of stop at this point.
  18. You forgot Mac Jones final td drive
  19. Can’t win if you don’t win the turnover battle. Oh wsit we did… McD D can’t make a ***** stop when the game is on the line. That’s are problem, that’s our biggest problem…. You can’t expect to play perfect football every week. To win close games you need to be able to score at the end or make a stop. We have lost 3 times this season going ahead under 2 minutes. We also got a break by officiating against the Giants. This D is bad when the game is on the line. Really ***** bad. We either win big or lose. That’s a huge coaching problem
  20. The ball went from above his head to his waist without moving then got knocked out. That’s an easy call in my opinion
  21. 3 games this year, twice today. They also had two games within one score where our D couldn’t make a stop at the end to give the O another opportunity.
  22. It was a shootout because McDs D gave up 30 points after the first 30 minutes
