If the Bills Don’t Make it to the AFCCG, Should McDermott Be Fired?
BananaB replied to Gugny's topic in The Stadium Wall
We won’t make it to the afc championship game. Losing in the wildcard seems most likely right now. Besides Miami we haven’t beat anyone good and we’re losing to teams we shouldn’t. -
Was Elam ok or could the Giants just not take advantage of him?
BananaB replied to GreggTX's topic in The Stadium Wall
Taron had a solid game, other than that I don’t think any dbs played great. Didn’t think any of them were challenged much and when they were they came up short. Hyde and Poyer keep looking like they lost it. More Poyer then Hyde -
How old will he be by the time he learns the playbook, that’s the bigger question
-
This is a good point. I’m all for getting a better #2 than Gabe, just find him very inconsistent. We don’t really have a 3rd WR either right now and just getting one those could help Davis as well.

In retrospect, was letting McKenzie go a mistake?
BananaB replied to ChicagoRic's topic in The Stadium Wall
I think a big part of this year is it’s like Sherfield, Harty and Shakir have no real roll in the offense. McKenzie on the other hand was trying to do the job Beas had, he just wasn’t good at it. -
Not in those words. Basically said they are rotating guys and some more than others each week. Feels they are all really good players and wants to keep them all involved. That’s talking about a third target. I’m not complaining about targets to Diggs, so I don’t have a clue why you did all that research…. I said I think it’s more beneficial for the O if we focus on one guy as third target on a week to week basis so him and Josh gain more chemistry. Cut down the rotation and let one guy do the job

As much as I wanted to get rid of McKenzie it’s hard to argue that he wouldn’t make this offense better at this point. Sherfield and Harty have done nothing -
Just listened to Dorsey’s press conference and someone asked about getting another player involved besides just Diggs and Gabe. His answer was we got so many solid players it’s changes each week which guys they gameplan to get involved. I guess I don’t see that when I watch the games, maybe Hardy the first few games but not much. You’d think it would be more beneficial for the O if they just focus on one guy week in week out, that way the chemistry between Josh and the player gets stronger over the season. Jmo

I can’t see Carolina shopping him, he’s playing well and probably the most experienced player they got which is great for a young QB

Too lazy to go and reply on two different threads?

I thought the same thing. They showed one replay and it looked pretty close, figure they had the right call when it came back from commercial.
-
It was a bad throw. A very soft bad throw that Knox had two hands on, it was catchable. Allen gotta do better but so does Knox. It’s not unreasonable to expect someone to still catch that ball even though it didn’t have perfect placement
-
Totally agree. As much as getting another solid WR would help Allen it would be huge for Gabe in my opinion. He can focus on what he does best with less attention from opposing defences. It’s like some people are more worried about his label as the #2 than what’s best for this O. Sadly it’s been a conversation on this board since November last year. Beane tried but he did what Beane does, look for bargains hoping they will break out on our offense. At this point I’d like to see more Shakir and less Hardy. Shakir just seems to make a solid play almost every time he’s targeted right now.
-
People do realize the format of his progressions and what’s going on in the pocket affects what he sees and when he’s gonna throw the ball
-
For some reason people think Josh gotta throw every throw perfect for a player to catch it. It was a bad throw but it hit both hands. You see that catch almost once a week around the NFL. Without Josh this team is screwed. He hides so many problems. Take away any of the rest of the people you listed and Bills will keep winning. Asking a guy to catch a ball that he got two hands on is not asking too much. That’s what they get paid for
-
Yeah that a weird one. Should be teaching guys how to get tangled up in someone’s feet. A runner turns back for an under thrown ball and the db makes contact its a penalty, guy trips someone who’s looks like he’s gonna get a catch and much more, no call.
-
I don’t think the other one should have got called myself, so ***** it. Waller did a great middle school level acting job. Some of the flops into todays game are brutal.
-
I bet at half McD told him to run the ***** ball. Lol! Brutal he couldn’t figure it out himself
