  1. We basically added one guy to our oline, other than that it’s just depth. Maybe Torrence will pan out but having a rookie next to Brown is very scary. All the depth players we sign don’t do anything to help the starting lineup, and that what we need.
  2. Kid had a really good camp for a rookie last year and maybe an even better preseason. That has a lot to do with the hype he got last year. We have seen very little of him to make any accurate assessment on him based on last year. He probably should have taken over that slot roll last year but McD has trouble sitting vets who play poorly. He did some good things in very minor roll.
  3. Last year during TC all anyone talked about was how good Shakir hands are. I think he’s gonna settle in that slot role nicely. Last year he was just getting his feet wet and he’s had a slow start to camp. It’ll get better.
  4. Was it any different then the Embedded episode hyping him up last season?
  5. Seems like Beane is throwing darts blindfolded hoping to get another WR Allen can rely on. Gabes not that guy but he is easily the best WR we have after Diggs.
  6. Our D got crushed every playoff exit we had the past 3 years. How do you win Championships that way?
  7. White started because we traded Darby and let Gilmore walk. We were in a rebuild and he had time to learn. Wallace was pressed into action and did pretty well considering. Still the team had time to let him play and learn because we were in a transition building this team. Same can be said for a lot of players. Allen, Edmunds, Dawkins, Johnson. These guys all learned on the field because roster was thin and they had time to develop them that way. We even leaned on Robert Foster at one point. Even Knox, he was brought in later but no one really here to keep him on the bench so he had to learn. Rosters changed as years went on and brings more competition. The more we hear McD give the playbook excuse to use average vets and not his rookies. Ed had a slow learning process, in and out of the lineup. Aj and Boogie hardly ever see the field but we haven’t seen anybody really standout above them. Just average play. We seen this with other positions as well, RB, WR come to mind last year. This process is not getting our most talented players ready for the biggest stage, playoffs. Might be why our D gets crushed every year we face a solid QB. Elam might have been our best DB in playoffs, not sure we get by Miami without him on the field. Sad thing is if he seen the field more during regular season he might have been even better. But McD stuck with Dane despite him getting toasted every week. He also stuck with McKenzie despite his ***** play and kept Shakir on the bench. H
  8. Yeah that’s why Gardner is an all pro and Dane was every QBs whipping boy on third down. You gotta cover your zone, if a WRs in there hes your man.
  9. Speed don’t win if it’s your only attribute. You gotta do more then just run.
  10. What’s the combined reception total between Sherfield, Harty and Izabella. They must have about 12 years between them all, my guess would be below 175 without looking up stats. Speed means nothing if they can’t produce
  11. Dane sucked last year, Elam outplayed him. This is your coach giving the veteran player the benefit of the doubt and McD has done it time and time again. Want to know why our rookies hardly make an impact, because they are in and out of the lineup like ***** yo-yos. When McD took over he had to play the young players and now they are the backbone of our team, the past few years he’s been babying these guys for mediocre vets. Dane and Elam are just another example of that.
  12. If that’s the one thing we can trust McD on you think spending a first round pick on CB who could crack the starting lineup would be pretty easy. 🤷🏼‍♂️
  13. Oh, give me a break. Last year Dane was a bigger liability on third down then Ryan Gosling in Remember the Titans
  14. You do realize at one point last season we had a CB rotation last year. When have you ever seen that in the NFL? Just put the kid on the field and let him play, stop ***** babying him ffs. If he don’t got it we’ll know shortly. One thing we do know is Dane doesn’t have it. It makes no sense at this point.
  15. Sending Dane out when he was absolutely abused at the position last year isn’t the way. We know what we got with this guy on Sundays and it isn’t close to good enough. It’s easier to learn through reps then in a classroom
  16. We say that about all our draft picks. 😂
  17. Sounds like our WRs picking up where they left off last season
  18. I thought Elam played better last year. Definitely made bigger plays to help this team out. Benford seen action in about 10 games and started over half. He seen the field more but never made as many stand out plays.
  19. But that’s how this team works sometimes. Last year at times we seen Jackson on the field playing zone and Elam getting sent out when we were playing man. First time ever I seen a CB rotation. A few years ago when Gore was playing it got to the point he never stepped on the field unless it was short yardage situation and most of the times he got the ball. There are times we have gotten very predictable because of our player rotation
  20. Our CBs did not have a good year last season, Elam seemed to be the only guy that made plays. He just rarely seen the field
  21. Great, by week 3 everybody will know our gameplan
