You don’t waste money on backups while trying to find starters in the same position.

Typical Bills move woud be to bring a guy back someone else doesn’t want because he’s familiar with the playbook. Needs to stop. It’s good depth is the excuse gotta stop. Find guys with less experience who may have higher ceilings instead of average players past their prime that are probably on a decline.

I’m not even sure his contract size, can’t imagine it being much but it probably more then some others options. Considering they are strapped for cash any money on a 3rd string TE is kind of a waste. Just like it is signing Trubisky. You hope he never sees the field and that’s what Beane is wasting money on.

Feel like he hardly sees the field so it’s hard to judge. Oddly he has made big plays in some of our biggest games.

He was one of our most physical defensive players. He didn’t play much because he was behind two all pros that McD was not sitting despite below average play. I thought when Poyer and Hyde were out the D looked stronger with Rapp filling in.

Hopefully this isn’t top priority. A guy you hope never sees the field unless he’s taking a knee.

Simplest way to get around it is to get more out of your younger players. Fact is they draft guys then go sign guys to play their position. Part of the blame for this is probably McD though. What really is it bad drafting or poor development and lack of trust in young players from the HC.

I think Beane wants to move onto a younger team but I don’t see McD letting it happen. He loves his vets and values experience. Doesn’t matter if the guy is washed and can’t make a play, as long as he understands his job.

If he came to this team McD would have him behind Sherfield and Harty. 😂

Always question these rankings, at this point I take them with a grain of salt.

Teams completion rate against him is almost 70% this year. He takes a fair amount of penalties and he’s always in and out of the lineup.

Benford is not close to one of the best CBs in the NFL. Despite Elams struggles and very limited time on the field he may have made more impact plays then Dane and Benford. At this point I don’t see him getting much playing time here moving forward. McD gonna go with the player who is better between the ears than the most physically gifted almost every time. Look at Klien and Williams in the playoffs

Benford might be the most overrated player on this team amongst fans. But that’s normal, Bills fans fall in love with average play from a late round pick

The only problem I have with Knox’s contract is they drafted a better player at his position less than a calendar year later. At one point it seemed Knox was on the rise but Kincaid basically put a stop to that. Beane and his luxury picks. Bad situation that began with bad management

Diggs dodging those questions about his brother is why this is still a topic. Funny how last week when he was on Kay Adams and she was asking about the trade rumours he seemed pretty open about leaving. “Where there is smoke there is fire”. Those were his words, but we not suppose to believe his brother bull####. Come on. Dude wants out but doesn’t want to be labeled a cry baby for the second time.

Also seen them as the worst D in the league from mid October to end of November
