Game keeps getting dumber and dumber

A lot of people weren’t happy with the Harty sign. Samuel has proven he is consistent player in this league where Harty had one solid season. To be honest I think your biggest problem in this chat is you think the O is gonna be similar to Daboll and Dorsey, it’s not. Davis disappeared when McD made the change at OC, so looking for a guy to fill his roll the way he was used previously might not be needed.

The off-season ain’t over yet Bud. There still is this thing called the draft that they can possibly get another contributor. Either way, Brady’s offense helped us have a huge winning streak over the toughest part of their schedule. During that run Gabe had 4 games without a catch 🤷🏼‍♂️

Brady took over mid season, I think he surpassed his expectations. He got more players involved in the O and it wasn’t just dependent on Diggs and Gabe. I expect more this season. And considering Gabe was a ghost in his offense I’m even more happy the Bills didn’t pay him.

Beasley, Brown and Diggs have all had the best years of their career with Allen. What are you talking about?

You keep going on about the TD stats and having a good QB makes a big difference

Do you actually think Gabe would have the same results playing with some of the below average QBs Samuel has played with?

Has any WR on the Bills had as many targets as Gabe the past 4 years besides Steph? How many drooped passes has he had compared to any other player over 4 years? How many INTs when he was targeted over the past 4 years? How many miscommunications with Allen? Dude is just a very inconsistent player. He’s made a lot of big plays for the Bills, but there is also a lot of negative plays. We need an upgrade at #2 and it would have been great to keep Gabe as the #3, but not at that price.

They can have him. Hard to win Championships when the guy you’re counting on doesn’t play his best in the playoffs.

Ahhh yes, the I trust McD when it comes to DBs argument. Whaley’s scouts were a part of drafting Tre and signing Hyde and Poyer. Taron is a good player but everything else has not been good. Benford is super overrated because of draft position and beating Elam for the starting spot. Jackson always killed us on third down. Wallace was shaky but a good find considering he was a FA. Elam looks like a bust. We had safeties play behind Hyde and Poyer for a couple years and when they got their shot due to injury they were terrible. McD the DB guru is a total myth really.

A slow deep threat who can’t catch won’t be hard to replace. Davis was lucky to keep his roll for so long after so many poor performances. Having more weapons underneath in Brady’s offense seems more important. Guys who can get open quick.

What happens if the guy in the draft isn’t ready to play or turns out like a guy like Jalen Raeger? You know, a bust. Samuel is a good reliable receiver that can help in many ways. Do you care more about who makes the plays or if they are getting made? After Diggs downfall late last season Samuel may take some of his snaps. Who cares if Brady gets the O running on all cylinders

So now we have 3 guys that can play all over the field. What’s the problem? Who knows what they get in the draft but a more reliable target that just doesn’t run a handful of routes is definitely an upgrade. Maybe he’s here do take some snaps from Diggs. He wasn’t quite himself the second half of the season.

Because he ain’t a scrub like Sherfield and Harty. Hollins is a scrub to and shouldn’t be in the same conversation as Samuel. Samuel has been a solid player and has produced pretty consistently. No who else was like that when they came here, Beasley and Brown. They both played their best football with Allen, so has Diggs for that matter. Guess we’ll have to wait and see but I think we got a solid player who has had numerous productive seasons in the NFL, as opposed to Sherfield and Harty who Beane signed having one decent season. Hollins can be put in that category too

Davis was a mainly a deep threat because he was slow and couldn’t get separation early in routes. Very one dimensional player with poor hands. Samuel might be a bit of a Jack knife but he’s versatile, he can get open and he got reliable hands. You now have 3 guys like that so can put stress in defences… Teams were catching on to what Gabe does, it has lead to negative plays.

Not sure it’s talking him up by giving a man a compliment, just how the posters on this board will take it

Come TC we’ll all be reading how this guy is gonna take this offense to another level. Especially if Josh Allen says something nice about him. Last year he said Sherfield was fast and some fans drooled over it until mid October when they realized that’s the only thing he had going for him.

Why sign depth players when you’re strapped for cash when you need starters. These guys ain’t gonna make a difference regardless. Save the ***** money until you get what you need first. Look at when they signed Poona last year, then they gotta go sign Douglas mid season. Signed Harty and Sherfield and could used the money for both to sign a more proven player. It’s the same old *****. I understand they don’t have as much money to spend, but using it more wisely is my issue. Beane has done it with the oline for years, tries to find guys that had one solid season and hope he can get consistent play out of them. This is who he is. It’s just now at the point he’s trying this ***** with more positions. Getting old
