I think Josh has weird situation that will get overlooked because of record and turnovers . He leads the league in TDs, had numerous games where he put the team ahead in the last 2 minutes but our D never held up. Something you’d look for in an MvP type season. Oddly he did all this with an OC being fired mid season, what other mvp candidate had to deal with that? To see Allen at the top of anything is pretty telling about how important he is to this team. Personally I think Tyreek is the clear cut MVP of the league. I ***** hate the guy with a passion but his effect on games are unreal

He fell catching the pass, got up and jogged into the endzone. Not sure who got the other TD but it’s was almost as bad. I haven’t watched as football as I usually do and only really started watching highlights the past couple weeks as the playoff hunt started to heat up. The other week I saw Deeboo taking a screen turning it into a long TD. Maybe twice in one game. Then I seen him get a deep ball where he was 5 yards ahead of defender when he caught the ball. Seems everybody around Purdy makes his job easy

He started when we played Miami as well 🤷🏼♂️

Every time we play in snow you’d think we’d have the advantage but the other team looks like it always has better traction. -

I understand the parameters of it. Guys are asked to do different things. Davis’s job is different so you think his low percentage is acceptable. I don’t expect him to be perfect, I expect him to be reliable and he isn’t. You seem to have a lot of emphasis on Gabes depth of route, now you want to add in how contested the catch was. There are also miscommunications that seem to be pretty regular between Gabe and Allen. Not saying it’s all him but we rarely see it between Allen and Diggs. We can say the same about Smokey and Beas too when they were here. Some of these miscommunications have been on 3rd down and stalled drives, others have led to turnovers. Add in the drops and it just makes a very unreliable player. Especially for a #2 in a pass happy offense. I had high hopes for Gabe. I picked him in my fantasy draft last year in like the 4th round. Think he was the first WR I took. He just hasn’t taken steps forward. Beane gave him a great opportunity here and he ***** deserved it with how he played as our #3 WR his first two seasons. After last year Beane gave us the excuses about the ankle holding him back but it seems nothing has changed. He’s still the same player Bringing up Zach Moss compared to Diggs is just a ridiculous. And really trying to hard to make a stupid ***** point. Also in another post WeO said you couldn’t compare Gabes first downs to Jefferson’s because he’s one of the best in the game. Then in another thread tries to prove a point by asking if we think Knox’s hands are better than Coopers, Ridleys, Kupps, Hopkins, and Samuel because Knox must have a better catching percentage. All those other guys are #1 WRs who face double coverage on regular basis. All these comparisons are just stupid. Gabe is Gabe. I’m not comparing him to anyone I just think we need more out of the #2 Wr position than he is bringing to the table. He’s made some great plays and had some huge games but there is just too much of nothing in between. At crucial times when we just need something simple out of him we don’t get anything.

Why is catch % dumb? It is giving you an idea of how many plays have ended with no productivity when he’s being targeted. It’s crazy not to look at it in a game of inches.
-
If I was techie enough right now I’d make a Scooby-Doo meme, the one where they rip off the mask. Only to find Gabe Davis face underneath. To be honest, he should be looking up how many first downs he gets per target. Jmo. An incompletion is a wasted play that he wants to just give Davis a mulligan for.

Sherfield for sure -
44% of the time he’s targeted the ball hits the ground. 🤷🏼♂️😂

Gabe Davis- Do you want him back and for how much $

Bills fans love to hold onto average inconsistent talent just because he’s a likeable guy and he works hard. Seen it over and over again -
Totally agree. Beane really whiffed this off-season filling holes at the WR position. I didn’t think it could get as bad as last year but I feel it has. I thought last season Davis and McKenzie could get the job done but I was totally wrong, like most people were. They deserved that opportunity though. At this point I think Beane doubled down on the wrong guy. McKenzie wasn’t good at the slot position but he had a place here and was productive when only getting worked in for a few plays. Harty has been bad, really bad most of the season and he’s the guy Beane gave decent money. Probably should have stuck with McKenzie and found a guy to take over Gabes position.

He’s not getting many targets since Brady took over. But hey, Shakir was hardly getting any targets at the start of the season but has made the best of every opportunity and he eventually started getting more. At some point Davis’s opportunities were gonna decrease with the way he has been playing. It’s up to him to make the most of his chances to get more involved. It’s a production league.

A day after Gabes mom ***** about him being a non factor in the offense. 🤔 -
Kincaid, Shakir and Cook are catching the ball over 80% of the time. Diggs might be a little less than his usual with a 66% catch rate. Knox is at 58% which is a drop from previous 2 years but pretty close to his first two years. Gabe is at 56%, which is almost identical to his first two years but an improvement over last. WeO wants to feed him more balls, he thinks that’s the answer to his inconsistencies. 😂 He is who he is at this point. The same problems he had last year he has had this year. Brady taking charge of the O seems to want to more people involved and the guy who is the most inconsistent is losing the most opportunities

I give up. Your crush for Gabe blinding your vision
