So far WR group looks like a dumpster fire
BananaB replied to Ethan in Cleveland's topic in The Stadium Wall
The whole concept everybody eats is gonna be a problem when playing good teams. You want your best players getting more opportunities during these games. I said Mack Hollins would slow the development of Coleman, ***** guy had 6 targets, 1 catch and 6 yards. It’s not a bad game for him, it’s who he is -
I think that’s the best thing that came out of this game, Allen confidence in Coleman is gonna get higher and he’s gonna start using him more. It’s needed to, can’t keep running all the short routes to Shakir and Kincaid all the time

More players in smaller rolls are gonna be a tell when teams are studying film. MVS is a one trick pony, he steps on the field the D gotta a good idea where he’s going. Shakir has the speed to get deep, just because he wasn’t used that way doesn’t mean in can’t get mixed in. Samuel is the same way. Kincaid can run deeper then yard routes and screens but he’s not. Knox can do a lot more than what’s on his plate too, it’s just everybody got limited rolls right now. -

Coleman had his best game despite the drop which was pretty encouraging. He wasn’t used until they had to push it downfield. To be honest it might be a game where Allen comes out with more confidence in him. He’s probably coming out with less confidence in Hollins, dude was terrible tonight. Most of the OPs post is true. Using Samuel as a gadget player is foolish. He probably better than Hollins at just about everything but blocking. -
Does Brady struggle to feature top TE's and WR?

Shakir/Samuel and Kincaid/Knox situation makes me wonder sometimes. Right now probably the most proven players in our passing game and only Shakir and Kincaid are being used. All players are fairly athletic and pretty versatile for their position. Especially Samuel. The everybody eats thing might come back to haunt you on film with more rotational guys running limited stuff. A pattern will form that will be a give away. Jmo. Not saying a lot of guys can’t contribute, just saying can’t have certain guys just doing the same ***** all the time. -
If Hopkins becomes available, would you want Beane to trade for him?
BananaB replied to SCBills's topic in The Stadium Wall
Had high expectations for him because he’s pretty versatile, but he’s just an overpaid McKenzie in this offense. And that’s being nice -

Hollins and MVS are who they are. That’s why they are bouncing around the league. Hollins was awful tonight, you think he’s just gonna all of be sudden be consistent when times get tough? Not happening. Like to see Curtis Samuel used in a different roll but we need another WR. -

Gotta say, like watching Houston get beat

Does this surprise anyone. Brady went to a team loaded with weapons, (best place available for a qb at that time) and still got the organization to bring in his buddies as well. The offense went from Bruce Arians plays at the start of the season to Tom Brady’s after they struggled early. His way got them a Championship

I thought he just had a great camp. He’s behind two guys that are playing good football and have held their positions since last season. With the Bills injury history on D I’m not giving up a solid corner who might be needed at some point

Non Bill, unheralded, under the radar favorite player.

Would Adam Thielen be a good option if another WR is needed?

Give it a few games, it’s definitely a possibility. I’m not really sold on Hollins and MVS. In tougher games we’ll see -

Doesn’t have a drop but last week it looked like him and Lawrence weren’t on the same page in the redzone. Bet it was Lawrence’s fault just like it was always Allens -
He wasn’t playing the player, he was going for the INT. If the balls in the air it should be free for anyone to make a play on it. NFL gotta give some leeway to these defenders. Just a bull#### way to end a game. Terrible throw, defender plays ball not man and the WR back petals into him because that’s where the terrible throw led him. Just bull####
-
At some point the D gotta be allowed to play the ball. Jmo. High floater and the D guy is going for the INT not playing the WR. I don’t know, Jmo. WR backpedaling because it was a bad throw

Look at Taylor celebrating, she still don’t know what a holding flag looks like. Most KC fans don’t though
