  1. Probably could have been avoided but McD and Beane were chasing a few plays trying to get through KC. Bringing the same guys back year after year hoping a few tweaks will be enough.
  2. You’re talking about the KC playoff game. Allen was our best player on the field. His passing stats might not be great but there were 3 key drops that took about 150+ yards off the field. Dude can’t catch it himself. There are other players on the field ya know. Can’t blame the defense for being tired either because Allen controlled the clock most of the game, it was our D that sucked ass. I also think Cook dropped what would have been an easy TD pass, then Allen ran it in. Go figure
  3. Better chance McD signs a 30+ year old Dline for his rotation because the young guys need 3 years to develop
  4. Was it because KC was scoring to quickly? Because McD slowed Bills offense down after 1 drive against Bengals. Maybe he should figure out an answer to stopping them with our 11 defensive players instead of our 11 offensive players.
  5. Can you say Allen’s passing effort was down during that game when WRs were dropping balls all over the field. I can count 3 big ones off the top of my head. And he did score the most points against KCs D throughout the playoffs which isn’t that bad. Problem was the D gave up the most against KC O through the playoffs
  6. With the majority of the resources going to D over the years this should not be a problem. Especially when you have a defensive minded coach.
  7. McD does this to protect his D. Remember the Bengals game last year when they come out in the no huddle and the easily walked down the field? After McDs D gave up its second TD he slowed the offense down so it wouldn’t become a shootout. All about protecting his D.
  8. Shakir is in the exact same situation as Davis was 2 years. The only difference in this situation is we don’t have a legit #1 WR like we did two years ago. If this doesn’t work out it’s gonna be worse than the past 2 years. The draft was heavy at WR and they took one. If Coleman has a slow transition this team is *****. Terrible management Davis was a failed #2. He was super inconsistent despite having a few big games.
  9. Not even close. Beane gambling on Shakir handling a heavier workload like he did with McKenzie and Davis. 😩 Then adds one WR in one of the best WR classes in years. 🤦 You can’t teach stupid. Can’t wait until him and McD are fired
  10. I think right now #1 is off the table. Let’s hope Shakir can step up and handle a bigger workload. Beane is an idiot. He put the same faith in McKenzie and Gabe, both were disappointments. He even doubled down on Gabe last year blaming his ankle injury the year before. Total neglect of the WR position at this point. ***** brutal.
  11. Been an issue for 2 years now and we have a deep WR draft with lots of picks and he rolls the dice on a WR once. Brutal Putting a lot of faith in Shakir to take a step forward. He done that with McKenzie and Gabe Davis (twice). Let’s cross our fingers this one works. I like the Samuel pickup but still worry it doesn’t workout. Then you have rookie (just one of them) you’re also putting a lot of faith in. Not sure what to expect at this point, glad we got Kincaid though.
  12. Too many chiefs not enough Indians. That’s what I say when see framing crews and everyone carrying and looking at plans. You don’t need leaders at every ***** position.
  13. Coleman looks like Gabe Davis with better hands. Question will be if he has games where he’s not even targeted in Brady’s offense.
  14. You understand I’m talking about D only?
  15. Have any lived up to expectations? We hit on some late rounders but it seems to a disappointing part of our draft. Hard to buy into any hype at this point. Hard to get excited about these picks. The last guy day 1-2 pick that was everything we wanted out of him was Tre. Seems so long ago and that was Whaleys scouting staff
  16. McDs only first and second day defensive pick that turned out to be everything you wanted of him was Tre White. That was a McD/Whaley draft though.
  17. Everyone sick of wasting first and second day picks on McDs D and not getting much production in return. Seems they are better picking D players late and O players early. 🤷🏼‍♂️ Oh well, the faster McD is gone, the faster this team has a real shot at winning a Super Bowl.
  18. Rousseau has not been anything special. Alright but disappears at times. Ed took 3 years to get consistent but was still a ghost in our last 2 playoff losses. A time we needed him to step up. You also have Boohie that got traded and AJ who finally started helping in year 4. How’s Elam doing anyway. These are all first and second day picks that either didn’t pan out or took a few years to get the most out of them. I don’t care about day 3 picks, most of them are a crapshoot anyway. We got a few good ones, doesn’t change the fact they continue to invest high picks in McDs D and don’t get much production out of them.
  19. That’s nice but this staff has drafted a number of underwhelming defensive players that struggle to see the field. People are getting sick of it. Best case scenario this guy gets into the rotation. Most likely scenario he is in and out of the lineup and starts to be helpful 3 years down the road. Worst scenario he gets the Boogie treatment
  20. All I hear is how Lamar needs WRs, is this Franklin
  21. I’ll be really pissed if the Dolphins end up with Franklin. Another guy who’d burn everybody on crossing routes
