Jalen Ramsey's Game Clinching "Interception"
BananaB replied to 26CornerBlitz's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
If your arm is under it how can it hit the ground.... It looks pretty clear to me the nose of the ball hits the ground. He could still have his hand on the middle of the ball ( which he may have) but the nose still hit the ground and the ball cleary moved. So he never maintained possesion -
Jalen Ramsey's Game Clinching "Interception"

The ball bounced.... The media talked up their secondary so much the replay officials just took for granted it was an INT -
I’m alittle surprised by Goodwin but not Woods... We all said Sammy was under used here, but I think it is pretty obvious we can’t get a good read on our WRs until we replace Tyrod. Sammy, Robert, Goodwin and Hogan is a real good group of guys we once had.

They get paid big money to do what they do.... I’ll be thankful when we move on from him. 15 starts including playoffs and he led us to 3 points in four of those games. That’s over 25%. If you want wanna thank players, the defense, McCoy and Hauska is where you should start.

Pick one to stay, TT or Dennison.

Not sure I handle another 3 point game by our starting O in my lifetime... 4 times in one season is hard to withstand. -
McD should win, he deserves to win. I’m so !@#$ing sick of hearing about Sean McVay.... He inherited one of the best defences in the NFL along with a former offensive rookie of the year in Todd Gurley. His QB was a 1st overall pick headed into his second year. Most of the media had written Goff off after one season because Wentz and the rediculous idea that he should of played like a seasoned vet. The other QB (Kenuum)that struggled under Fisher last season is having a pretty !@#$ing good year as well. They also revamped there entire WR group from last year, adding a quality rookie and 2 under appreciated and under used former Bills. Last I seen of Tavon Austin ( there #1 last year) he was playing RB in garbage time for them and Kenny Britt has been cut by the Browns. McVay deserves credit but not the amount he is getting. McD took a team that everyone thought was tanking, traded away some of there top players and took them to the playoffs.... To me there is no comparison in who deserves this award. Bills, Jets and Phins have the hardest road to the playoffs for almost 2 decades. It’s not easy being a team the Pats are most familiar with, or playing them twice a year. Until **** changes (or we get lucky) we are basically playing a 14 game season.

Luke Falk could turn out to be the best QB in this draft.... I think his production had dipped this season because he had a broken left wrist. It’s not his throwing arm but it had to effected how he played, sure he tried to protect it as much as possible come game time. His arm is good enough to make all the throws and he is super accurate which is something that you just can’t teach. He’s real comfortable in the pocket, moves well, maintains poise and will take a hit to make a throw. I love Mayfield but all the hype right now may lead to us having to move up to get him. I’d rather take Falk in the second.... I want one of these guys.

Gruden to get 10 year/$100M Contract
BananaB replied to Canadian Bills Fan's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Lol! Maybe he’ll hire Dungy to build his defense again. -
When it comes to DRY Bills always come up short. Byrd-Kik- Darby. Tre had a great year but it’s probably gonna end up the same.

Tyrod Taylor's "Signature Moment" of 2017?
BananaB replied to twoandfourteen's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
For this season using the LA game as an example is pretty off because he didn’t start.... Against NO and NE (1st game) he scored 6 points. How do you even use those games as examples? The D sucked no doubt, but what the !@#$ did the O do? NE has put up over 30 points in 7 games this year, over 25 10 times this year. We were one of 6 teams to hold them under 25 points and Taylor put up a whopping 3 !@#$ing points. Going into those games we know we need to put up a lot of points, our O averaged 6 points a game, under 10 if you count the Benjamin TD. We also got 7 points from a Poyer INT In the second game. Listen, I understand the D was bad but they have helped in almost all our wins the past 3 seasons. They are at fault for games as well as this offense. Over the past 3 years we have close to 10 games where Taylor has had the ball in hand in position to win or tie. That could make a big difference on our record even if he just won a few of them. He’s just too inconsistent. -

Better offense then defense I can agree with, but we still only won games where our defense showed up.... Taylor has 3 wins when our D has given up over 20 points the past 3 season (1 per season), 5 when giving up over 17..... He’s had the ball a number of times each season in games in position to win or tie and has came up short (twice this year). Doesn’t matter what the score is, you have the ball in hand late in games you either get the job done or you don’t. That’s the difference in being a good team or not. When all aspects of the game is going good Tyrod can be relied upon. When you need a big play, successful drive or just need to put the O on your back and simply go out and outscored your opponent Tyrod just doesn’t get the job done. He can’t be relied upon. This is the most important position in sports and we need better. -
Tyrod Taylor's "Signature Moment" of 2017?

Look around the league man, most QBs wear the C on their jersey. It’s almost a mandatory part of the position.... He handled him self with poise and professionalism, yippeee! He struggled to throw the !@#$ing ball. He led one of the worst passing attacks in the NFL..... We made it to the playoffs by the skin of our teeth and some people want to give him more credit then he actually deserves because of it. Glad McD is coaching this team. He atleast made it clear he wants better. -

Taylor did not lead this team to the playoffs, our defense did and Shady with a big help from Hauska. Don’t forget that. We had things go our way which helped get us in, that can not be argued.... If Taylor did a good job we would not be having this discussion. We would not be talking about tiebreakers, we quite possibly finish 11-5 and would be in position to host a playoff game... You can blame that on the stellar performance he displayed against Carolina and Cincinnati. And our passing game is !@#$ing terrible, does that not have anything to do with Taylor? Thank god our season came down to Andy Dalton needing to get in the endzone and not Taylor.... At some point you have to rely on your own QB, not someone else’s. If we could do this with Taylor, we’re possibly 11-5 this season. If you want we can look back and see how many times he failed in these types of situations the past 3 years..... -
Tyrod Taylor's "Signature Moment" of 2017?

I think him being sat is the defining moment.... Says this coaching staff is not happy with how he plays on the field. Sure, he’s a better option then Peterman but McD wants more out of our QB position. Hopefully it is found in the offseason. Its exciting to be in playoffs, and Taylor has been helpful with the way he protects the ball. That’s not enough. If we didn’t win the tie breaker there would be no questioning Taylor’s value and it seemed to risen because we ended this drought. Not only do we owe a lot of thanks to Dalton and the Bengals, we owe some thanks to the Dolphins for playing a third string QB. Its nice to have some luck go our way for a change though. -
I don’t understand the love for Darnold, the couple times I watched him his wind up seems like it’s almost in slo motion. He’s gonna get picked off a lot in the pros. I liked Mayfield all year, his accuracy and anticipation is insane. He’s beginning to rise though so get him might be a problem. I’m not too sold on any of these to pay the price of moving up. I think we could keep our picks and draft Luke Falk in the second. He could quite possibly turn out to be the best QB in this draft. Great poise, moves well in the pocket, accurate, will take hit to make throw, arm strength not top notch but good enough to make all the throws. Had a slide in production this year but played most of the season with broken left wrist. Sure it wasn’t his throwing hand but still has to an effect when taking some hits to make throws.

In my mind, Taylor has just got another week to prove something. But he’s really gonna need more then one week. He’s just too inconsistent. 3 different OCs have worked with him. Hogan, Woods, Goodwin all were once used as an excuse for Taylor, all have moved on and proven to be quality players. Doesn’t matter who is on the field, Taylor shys away from getting the WRs involved in games. That makes it even harder when are put in passing situations. Too many disappearing acts also. Play a decent 15 to 30 minutes and stink it up the rest of the game. Seen too much of it. Enjoy the playoffs, it’ll be fun. We got the best matchup we could of hoped for in the wildcard. To improve and move forward we need to try to upgrade where we are the weakest. I find it hard to believe our passing doesn’t fit into that category.

We need to improve at QB.... No one can deny that. I bet every Bills fan around the world is happy the most important drive of our season was not put on Taylor’s shoulders..... Thank you Andy....It’s a great feeling to get in the playoffs, but we need our own QB we can depend on to keep moving forward.

Maybe Dennison shouldn’t of been so !@#$ing paranoid, our offensive production was a lot better in the first half You never know with Taylor though, he dissappears after a good start all the time. Did it in Miami last week too.

Jags had weakest schedule in 2017

I think our edge is in the passing game is gonna be Taylor protecting the ball, and it could be the difference. -
Jags had weakest schedule in 2017
BananaB replied to Dadonkadonk's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Taylor doesn’t use our WRs so it’s questionable what kind of impact Ramsey and Abouye will have on this game... The Jags had a weak schedule and they really relied on defense making plays and forcing turnovers. Taylor biggest strength is how he protects the ball. This is a big advantage for us. Another big advantage is our D having a knack for forcing turnovers itself and Bortles knack to turn the ball over. We are underdogs but I can actual see us winning this game. I think this Jags team is alittle overhyped myself. -
The Bills and Tyrod beat Jacksonville last year
BananaB replied to Foreigner's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Taylor rarely throws to WRs so Ramsey and Bouye may not have much impact on the game.... Hope McCoy is back though. -
Keep looking to upgrade.... What would we do if the Bengals lost? Taylor’s got another game to prove something here but his struggles can’t be overlooked just because we squeezed into the playoffs. It’s not how you improve upon this season. Maybe he gets the start of next year, but we need another guy pushing for that spot.

BananaB replied to BuffaloRush's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I said it before and i’ll say it again, Taylor has not showed anything all year to prove we could of outscored the Chargers in a shootout.... And, if we don’t make the playoffs the blame has to go to the O and the pathetic performances they had against the Bengals and Panthers..... The way Taylor was playing it wasn’t the wrong decision to give Peterman a shot, it was the wrong decision to give him that shot against the Chargers pass rush.
