  1. I want me some Bridgewater or Kelly. Our QB position is wide open. Prefer not to spend our firsts on QB. Period.
  2. I think it's obvious that the Pats are a better team with a better QB. Expecting to beat them with our QB is similar to believing that Santa is real. If we have a competent QB next year, we could be real Bills, not counterfeit Bills. A competent QB will take advantage of Clay and Benjamin. He would make everyone better. I wished we would have stayed with NT 4 weeks ago to see what he could do, but we stayed with TT and we'll miss the playoffs and our draft position will prevent us from getting an NFL ready QB. Our structure has the potential to keep us in a rut. The coach makes decisions to appease the locker room, when management should have told him to go with the guy who can throw receivers open, not the guy who takes sacks and bounces balls to receivers. While many thought that the previous regime was dysfunctional, giving all the authority to this coach could result in a process that keeps us at 9 and 7 and worst. We need some checks and balances. Giving this coach last and final say will be an equation for failure. Go Bills!!!
  3. I'm praying for St Dougie's and Big Boy's team to win out. Go Bills!!!
  4. But what if TT gets us a win in NE?? BTW, I don't think your post puts an end to the discussion ad nauseum. The dead horse will continue to get beat up.
  5. Hey 81 Bro: TT's inaccurate throws have to account for 1-2 wins and getting into the playoffs easily. He can only take credit for a couple of wins this season. I think that NP would give us a better chance against the Pats. My list of QBs who I'd rather have include: Rivers, Carr, Goss, Wentz, Newton, Ryan, Smith, Manning, Rodgers, Cousins, Luck, Stafford, Goff, Ben, Mariota, Winston, and Wilson. There are at least 19 who would've gotten us to playoffs. I will become a TT billiever if he gets us a win against Pats, but we know that's not happening unless there's a ton of snow and ice. Go Bills!!
  6. I'm a Ga boy who married a Bflo girl and we lived there while I went to UB. Our 2 sons who are now in their 30s went to their first game then at Rich. We've been hooked on the Bills since. We now laugh about thinking that JP was the answer. Now live in Northern Va and see Bills flags and car logos often, but a lot more Steelers, Boys and Skins. Really, unlike Bflo, all the teams are represented here. I think the DC area pulls from everywhere. As a Bills fan, I fit in more here than in Ga. Go Bills!!!
  7. I'm not a TT fan, but I'm glad he played better today. He's just not the guy, but if he can put together 2 halves like the first today, we have a chance against Brady. I don't think he can do it. Looking at all the tiebreakers, our best chance is to win out, and NP might give us the best chance in shoot out with Brady. I'm sure TT supporters would say that's not true, and I doubt coach starts NP based on TT's performance today. We'll need a QB who can pass for 250+. Pats will shut down Shady, and make TT throw. I hope TT goes lights out in Foxboro. Go Bills!!!
  8. So you agree that opponents best defense is to make TT be a QB?? I think opponents have TT's #. He's been exposed. If you can't throw in this league, just go home.
  9. My sentiments are aligned with QB. I just can't get excited about any game, today's included, with TT throwing. Shady is our only hope with TT at QB. I think we have a better chance against Brady with NP's lasers, rather that TT's blind ducks.
  10. If we still had Sammy we would be in a better position for the playoffs now, and TT would be a better passer. Once Sammy left, TT had to know that this was his last season as a Bill. Darius still here would've make us better right now too. Hopefully, a year from now, this year will be seen as a step backwards to make two steps forward!!?? I agree with these moves at this point, but the jury is still out.
  11. With everything on the line in the last game, and the Bills down by 6 on the 30 with 10 secs, Peterman throws a borderline lateral to Tyrod who hits Shady for the win, but the Peterman's lateral is ruled a forward pass ...
  12. I read out loud, and I like your sense of humor. Pistol Pete is our only chance against pretty boy Brady. We'll need that win. NP can sling, zing, and win. When was the last time TT put up 250+ to match Brady?? I'm hearing crickets.
  13. From the mind of Pimpin to my ears makes me realize that I'm not the only football evaluation genius. Give the rock to NP to sling and zing asap. Go Bills!!!
  14. It would save everyone a lot of trouble if they just sent a text saying they're staying home.
  15. I enjoyed watching 2 dart throwers in the Falcons-Saints game, so my eyes tell me that Nate is the only guy we got that can get close to that. Very entertaining. I'd like to see some entertaining football from my team. Entertaining trumps boring. Go Bills!!!!!!!!
  16. I agree. I knew that TT couldn't keep up with Brady and his wrecking crew. Give the guy a week with the 1s and he'll get dialed in with the receivers, which will result in in less drops and more YAC. If NP starts the last four, we have a better chance of sneaking into the playoffs. I would like to see if he is the guy. If he is, then we can spend our firsts next year on OL. Go Bills!!
  17. It will be interesting to see what happens in 3 weeks. I think some plays need to be especially designed for Gronk. I really hope he gets a 2 game suspension. Both Brady yelling at his coach and Gronk's actions are examples of two guys who think they are protected and use their status to bully others of lesser status.
  18. Can't really argue with your premise. I don't think we'll ever get to see what NP can do. I just know we'll need 30 points to beat Brady, and TT can't get'em. Call me crazy, but quick-release maybe could if the OL would give him 3 secs. To preempt your response, I know that's alot of would's and could's.
  19. Hey, I agree that TT is the GOAT at .538 win %. The long-term best plan is to see what NP can do. With TT this year, we'll probably miss the playoffs with 8-8 or 9-7, then he's gone, and we're back to square one. However, it would be great to make the playoffs, but we're getting short-term gratification at the expense of building a champion.
  20. I hope that guy is typing "TT - the best 8-8 QB of all time!!"
  21. A lot of Bills fans agree with you about making the playoffs at all costs. I fear that the costs will be one and done, a mid-round draft pick, and still no answer at QB. I know that many Bills fans agree with me that TT is not the answer. So we spend all of our draft capital on a QB that might not be the answer next year. NT might not be the answer, but I'd like to see him play 2-3 games to see if we have the QB we need. I think that would be a better scenario for us long-term than making the playoffs; however, it probably won't happen. We'll probably miss the 2nd season, and be in the same position as we've been in for 17 years with big QB questions. On the other hand, if we win the Super Bowl with TT, I'll be very happy. Go Bills!!
  22. This just in: if the Pats are up 30-0 at the half, it will be Peterman time. Yes. I see that handwriting on the wall. So we either miss the playoffs by a smiggen, or we get in and get embarrassed. In either case, we don't really know what we have in NP. We're in no man's land. Also, we get a mid-round draft pick. Very frustrating. Go Bills!!
  23. You may be right that TT is better than NP, but I don't think anyone really knows at this point. Again, I think we'll get a chance to see NP again, maybe by the half of the next game.
  24. Hey Alpha dog, nice point with #2. I agree. I bet Peterman gets another chance at half time, because TT will be TT somewhere over the next 5 games. Coach took a calculated risk with NP against Chargers because he felt that his quick release would give us a chance in a shoot out. TT gives us no chance to score 30. Coach's mistake was he miscalculated the ineptness of our OL.
