  1. When we get a QB that can out score Brady, and other NFL QBs.
  2. Wolverine reunion, and is that a finger?
  3. Moved up to Buffalo from GA in mid-80s and lived in wife's parents' home while attending UB. My 2 sons went to first NFL game in '86. Been a family tradition since. Probably Larry Felser, and Smerlas and Haslett on Monday night radio got me emotionally attached. Loved those guys. Me and my boys suffered through 4 SB loses in GA later, so we have to stick it out now. We look forward to our trip to Bflo every fall.
  4. Has anyone considered that McCoy might be a Colt or Giant next year. Think about it.
  5. This dude speaketh the truth. Sports radio around Atlanta is sub par. Here in the DC area, I don't think any are better than S&B. Riggo is the best here but he only has an occasional spot. I do agree that S&B should plan more topics where they are at each other. I connect with their silly humor.
  6. Yea I agree 100%; however, I can see why my fellow fans went gaga over making the playoffs. I got me some of that gaga too. But the morning after, we were still in QB purgatory!!?? I would have preferred to have seen what we have in NP. Maybe we would have still made the playoffs, and now would be having a different conversation about QB. BTW, I do think NP would have gotten more than 3 points against Jax.
  7. I watched TB at the SB Monday media night. He has sense of humor and seems quite level-headed. He can't help if if he just happens to be the greatest of all time, and happens to be in the Bills division. I must re-evaluate my opinion of him. Please stop. My side is splitting.
  8. Many good points in an attempt at revision of TT as an NFL QB. I would like to see the data on throwing accuracy over the 3 years. My eyes tell me that he missed more open receivers than most. I'm sure the receivers would agree. The good QBs find and hit open receivers.
  9. Stop it please. My side is splitting!!
  10. Cousins is definitely Plan A b/c we make a run at the trophy Plan B is Smith or Bridgewater and we get to playoffs Plan C is Bradford and maybe get to playoffs Plan D is trade this year's 1s and next year's 1 to get Rosen, Allen, Mayfield, Darnold, etc and miss the playoffs by having a team that looks like the Colts Plan No Way is stay put with TT and/or NP without one of Plans A,B,C or D.
  11. So should it be high profile guys who contributed to the drought, or guys who were the best and contributed to us being perennial 7-9 and sabotaging our chances for a top 5 pick???
  12. My source tells me that 90% of those who say they have a source have no source, just like 90% of the people who say they were at the greatest comeback game were not there.
  13. The Jags gave the Pats all they can handle. How do we compare to the Jags? Well, we lost to them 10-3. Does that mean we're close to being better than them? I don't think so. Others may disagree. I think our offense compares favorably. Our defense is miles behind. So if we're going to beat Pats, then we must model our D after the Jags, and improve our offense with Cousins. If Jags had Cousins, they beat Pats. If we get anyone other than Cousins, then the status quo doesn't change. We need someone who can match Brady, otherwise we'll continue to play 2nd or 3rd fiddle.
  14. This is my new revelation: who's going to beat Brady? Not Smith. Not Bridgewater. Not Bradford. If anybody can, Cousins can.
  15. Ok, you're partly right KJ. I think those 3 guys would've scored 10+ against the Jags. We would've lost the next one against Brady; however, Cousins could beat those bean town bums. We need someone who gives us a chance to do that, otherwise, we might as well as get EJ or Cordell or Fitz.
  16. Heck, if we would've had any of those 3 dudes, we'd still be playing. I agree with your point that we can wait for special. Cousins is better than most, and he'll be better still with Shady, and Benjamin, and Clay. If both Shanahans thought he was good, that's good enough for this Ga boy.
  17. Cousins would be better than any available vet or draft pick; however, we're not getting him. He's going to Denver. If healthy, I'd take Bridgewater over Smith.
  18. Bingo! I agree. A PI there and Minny wins with field goal. Go easy on the DB, he was reacting in 1/100th of a second.
  19. It tells me Smith, who is as good as any of those guys, could lead us into the playoffs next year. Let's getter done.
  20. The moral is that they would've won if the Minny coaches bungled the time outs during the last minute. They put on a clinic in clock management.
  21. Yes, I agree with Dalton, Smith, Bridgewater, (fill in with 20 other names), we would've played one more game, and lost to Brady (unless the fill in name was Brees, Ben, Ryan, Rivers, Cousins, Newton, Wilson, etc).
  22. Jimbo like the prodigal son "But when he came to himself ..." (Luke 15:17) Happy that Jimbo got to that dance, and will be dancing forever!!
  23. Living in the Northern VA, I agree with P51. Cousins would fit with Bills. Real good guy and a real QB. Both Shanahans thought he was the real deal which I think is good enough for me. Of all the options that he'll have, I doubt he'll end up in Bflo.
  24. Those guys are smarter than most, I hope, but I'm going to be real disappointed in the process if we have an average QB at the first game. We have the draft capital to do something epic for the first time since the Biscuit draft.
  25. Now, that little jingle made me feel better about our 9-7 team that backed into the playoffs, we lost a game we should've won, and we don't have a QB, and we probably won't draft the franchise QB ... but I won't stop billieving. Good reminder of what turned out to be a pretty good year. Go Bills!!!
