  1. Exactly. We did it to ourselves, but BB did it to us more. Always does. He stacked to take away run and then made Josh hit accurate throws, which he did a couple times. Not enough. Bill knows what we all know: JA is streaky and mostly off target. Our O line got busted, just the way Bill planned. Basically, when the ball was snapped, it was JA vs BB. Bill wins that chess match every time. He did against Kelly in our first SB, and Kelly had more players. Why would we think this team could beat the master mind? I don’t want to play Bill in playoffs. He will rope-a-dope us again. Josh isn’t good enough right now, not to mention O line and receivers. We could play them 10 times and maybe win one. We have a better chance against every other team. Go Bills!!
  2. Exactly, our defense in game 1 kept us in it. In game 2, they didn't have an answer, soft tackling, unlike against the Steelers and game 1. In fact, we didn't look like the same team as last week. BB can do that to you.
  3. We win if we play like we did in Heinz Field, but please no consecutive run plays in the red zone. Ugh!! Our linebackers will take care of the short stuff, but Brady may get a couple for 30 yards. Also, be sure to check the air in the ball.
  4. I traveled up from NVa to see my Bills. Got skybox seats with the full service. Now I know how the other half lives. Life long friend invited me up. He's a Steeler guy, and he knows a guy who owns a company with the skybox. I loved every minute. I saw Bills and Steeler fans having fun together, as opposed to your experience. One guy says if we don't win, I hope you do. I think we get a lot of sympathy votes. I think the downtown stadium works there. Lots of tailgating, even in the parking garage. Those who don't like the idea shouldn't worry. Like Virgil, I just knew we'd win this game. It was exciting. Those fans really are pretty cool. The renegade song and the gold towels even got me pumped, especially seeing our players strut. I questioned the successive runs in the red zone. With a 2nd year QB, I guess they don't want him to make the big mistake. In the end, the coaches were right in dialing up a protect-the-ball game plan in a defensive struggle. Yes, seeing the whole field made it easier to see the personnel rotations on D. I was glad to see a big game from Trent. Everyone contributing builds team unity. FYI, the best thing about the skybox is having the restroom in the same room. Very cool. I wish everyone has a chance to have a skybox experience. Go Bills!!
  5. I want prime time games early in the year so I can play 18 on Sunday afternoon. Git'er done!
  6. It was the coolest thing I've seen at an NFL game in a few years. I was there, and even I got into it. Didn't have a towel. I want a red scarf that would reflect the red streak on our helmets, and the song "Start me up!" The red scarf could also provide neck warmth during the games with playoff implications late in the season. Go Bills!!
  7. Pumped about driving up from NVa. Got a lifelong friend in Pittsburgh who got some skybox tickets. Get to see how the other half cheers. If we lose, at least I won't be cold and maybe wet. Yay me! I like our chances!! Go Bills!!
  8. Actually, I would partee for 2 days with a score of 2-0, Bills. So sweet. TB would squeal off in his Lamborghini. Go Bills!!
  9. I would have an all night party if we win 7-6.
  10. Yes, I was wet, cold and mad at that game as their 3rd string RB ran like a race horse on a wet track. We need to come out of the gate fast, and score in bunches. Allen better have a 2 second release to Beasley or Brown, and then off to the races !! Go Bills!!
  11. Agree, the O must ball By next Sunday at Heinz Field, Josh will learn how to find hot receivers on blitzes. We'll get 3 scores up and they won't be able to ketchup. ? Go Bills!!!
  12. I give him a D+. A D for the overthrows and not hitting hot read on blitzes. The + is for getting up after a dozen turf slams. Funny, he would get a B+ with 3 less drops, and a PI call.
  13. Another Clint fan: the Rifleman
  14. Hey House: Bottom line is we gotta take it to the House at least 3 times. It's gonna be a wind tunnel, but we need some screens, play action, dink-n-dunks, downhill running, and a bomb would seal it. My prediction: 27-17 Bills!!
  15. Tearing down goal posts is so old school … we've moved on to tables. The Bills should have about 100 ready to roll out to the logo. Trust me, that would go viral.
  16. Could Trent have a nagging injury … quad, pod, hammy, ribby, liggy, cervy, glute, cuticle ??? I got a hunch it's something, and he'll come on like a rabid junkyard dawg the last few games and playoffs. Go Bills!!
  17. Yes, I agree that we're all complicated. I can see certain leaders acting this way without mentioning recent leadership at OBD. However, I expect better from this guy based on the perception that he gives about his faith and beliefs. I prefer the leadership frameworks of John Maxwell and Stephen Covey that emphasize a higher standard based on how we treat people. I hope intimidation is not a usual strategy for our coach in any part of his job or life. It is easy for many leaders at the top, due to pressures and ego, to lose sight that the janitor is just as important as they are. Go Bills!!
  18. Not many Tom Landry's and John Wooden's anymore. Too bad too sad. Ends should never justify the means. Like most leaders at the top, they are generally surrounded by yes men. We all need people who are critical friends who correct us with our inconsistencies. I believe our coach stands for the right things, but he can stumble like the rest of us. Go Bills!!
  19. Haven't seen any improvement in passing compared to the Tyrod era. ?
  20. Domes are no fun. I don't even like sky boxes. I could never see the Packers, Bears, or Steelers in a dome. If I want to watch a game inside, I'll stay home.
  21. My biggest frustration is that we don't have the same playbook as Green Bay. Our guy has a bigger bazooka than Rogers, moves better, but he is hampered by our playbook. Do the Packers have better skilled players than we do? Don't think so. Everybody's going to say that Rogers is better than our guy, but maybe it's the playbook.
  22. I know this post is about the D and stopping the run; however, our problems here emphasize the need for our offense to score early and often, and then middle and often, and then late and often.
  23. I don't think that a QB in the NFL today can be a game manager for 3 quarters. That loses more than it wins. But we'll make the playoffs if he stays were he is. However, he has to get better if we hope to make any noise in January. Go Bills!!
  24. Our measuring stick is Jim Kelly which isn't fair to Josh at this point; however, we do remember that Jim won many games outright. Josh isn't really doing that yet. The good news is that we could be 9-1 if he doesn't digress. There are a dozen QBs I'd rather have, but, if he doesn't digress, we will make the playoffs. Go Bills!
