In terms of QB style, is JA17 able to do like Aaron R by dropping back in pocket then forward as the rush gets pushed by him? I know he would have to be committed to staying in the pocket. It seems that stepping up would give him a second to see the routes. Do we have the OL to make this work? It might be easier for the lineman to direct the flow of traffic, rather than trying to overpower the DL.

How did the GOAT coach do with his high picks??? Anybody know? The accepted assumption is that because he had the GOAT QB, he had the luxury of getting the supporting cast. Didn’t he place a priority of OL and DL over skilled positions. If so, we’re hoping to win with a different formula. In addition, they usually drafted last. Maybe PatNH can fill us in.

But but but teams don’t show any plays in preseason that they’ll run the first quarter of the season. I would agree that the OL should benefit from extended time.
