  1. Most likely to have a meltdown, be out of the league and selling shoe laces on ebay in 3 years- Baker Mayfield Most likely to be doing magazine ads for a kids line of Isotoner gloves - Sam Darnold Most likely to shatter George Blanda's TD to Int ratio - Josh Allen Most likely to star in a Snickers "I'm Batman" commercial - Josh Rosen.
  2. Maybe they didn't think Cooks was worth the money and just turned it into the best pick they could? And all this speculative panic is just people running around in a panic over nothing?
  3. During the documentary " Tom vs Time" was the first time I've seen Brady actually talk seriously about retiring. I don't think his heart will be into until he is 45.
  4. I don't know but he can probably see down field.
  5. Mel Kiper - He has outstanding arm talent but his eyes are too low on his face.. I got him going in round 2.
  6. How old are you? They have played at least a 140 games since 1920.. then 154 games and went to 162 in 1961.
  7. I now hate April 1st. Just purposely shut my face in the car door.
  8. I'm not reading all of that
  9. I'd love to play baseball because I love doing it.. and yeah that money is pretty sweet. But if I was going to choose a skill it would be golf. I hate watching it because it bores me into a coma..and I'm pretty bad at it so playing isn't much fun either. But it would be if I was good at it and getting paid. Almost always playing in warm, sunny weather.. can play for years and years because there isn't much wear and tear on the body. And hot chicks.. I don't know what hot chicks has to do with anything but I always have to throw in hot chicks.
  10. Would you be ok with moving to #2 if it's Mayfield? I'm thinking that's who they want. They don't have to tell each other who they covet.. just make it clear they aren't ready to trade yet depending on pick 1. Perhaps Cleveland throws a curve ball and doesn't pick a QB at #1 knowing they can get a good one to sit behind Tyrod 3 picks later. Heck the first Qb could possibly go to the Jests.. not likely but possible.
  11. And what happens if you move up to #2 now and Cleveland picks that ONE particular guy? Take someone at 2 you might have been able to get at picks 4-8? And what if they already talked to the Giants about what they might want and they said there is ONE particular guy we want..call us back after we see who Cleveland picked.
  12. I suppose if there is only 1 guy you would give up that much for you would make sure the Browns don't pick him first. I'm kinda getting sick of the Browns already.
  13. I thought you were shorter than that.
  14. Luke Falk - Boy Wonder.. no real super powers. Everyone knows who he is but nobody really cares.
  15. Best detailing I have seen yet for swinging for the fences.
  16. I'm guessing the reasoning is because you could give up the farm and end up with a guy that turns into a leftover never has been never will be flop. Even knowing the chances of that go down by moving up it is still possible. Probably a risk aversion thing. Stocks or money market? Adding to that.. I'm betting most would be ok if we could pull off a swap to get in front of the Dolphins if we could do it with just picks 12 and 22.
  17. Get him where though? If they moved up to get him I'd wonder if there was booze in the war room. If they got him at 22 I'd be indifferent. If they got him in round 2 I'd build a statue of Beane in my yard.
  18. Broncos are going to be the first shock of the draft and leave Mayfield there for a defensive player. We swoop in and take him with the next pick. Mark it down.
  19. I don't know what the right answer is. Be much easier to take if we were already in the top 10. What confuses me is people saying we can fill spots with later picks after trading up. That idea seems dubious to me. Your giving up those picks moving up aren't you? Especially if trying to get up to #2.
  20. That's not how this works. That's not how any of this works.
  21. I keep thinking about the 2012 draft. After the obvious #1 pick and where all the QB's went that we would give a kings ransom ( in Foles case a 1st rounder maybe)for today. Has the QB evaluation process improved that much since then? I can see it in my mind..3 years from now everyone saying Beane really dropped the ball on this draft giving up so much to pick _______? When he could have waited and picked _______?
  22. I'm guessing they wait to see what happens with the Denver pick. If a guy they want is still there they will move up to whatever spot it takes to get him.
  23. If only we could have gone 6-10 last year.
