Last few years the Patriots started off slow and finished strong. I even thought the dynasty was over a few times because of bad starts. I'm hoping this year it's a hot start followed by a bad finish. A fella can hope.

Dismiss Barkley if you must. I felt like this offense was running much like it did with Orton. I'd be fine with a Kyle Orton run offense with a good D . Temper that with the fact it was the jets.

Jets do suck. Tough question is, what would the score be if Peterman started? I'm thinking 13-10.

One of them warned us is was going to get worse before it got better after last year. I think it was Sean,. My biggest problem is, I can't think of 1 guy on the offense that would be missed. Other than ( huge maybe ) Allen.. there isn't a single player to build on on that side of the ball.

This is kind of what we wanted...isn't it? A complete tear down from top to bottom? Clean out the front office. Rebuild the roster. And start over. Well this is the short term result I would think.

The "intruder" asking for specific items may be damning. How would he know what to demand? I would imagine the two most likely suspects would be Shady or the girl hired someone to beat the snot out of her. One seems more likely than the other to me.

Is it your position that trading cheap debt financing, sale of US owned companies and real estate to the Chinese is a sustainable trade policy? That's pretty much what we get in return. Seems to me that's just selling current and future assets for cheaper goods in the near term.

An example of what that might look like is what the Saints did to the Bills in one series last year. Drove the entire field and scored without a pass. Not saying having their QB didn't make that much easier.. but if someone dominated like that on the ground and you couldn't stop it you would be completely helpless like the Bills were at the time.

I only hope they can identify a QB prospect better than past regimes. Not new info on here but in the last 17 years only 17 of the 50 1st round QB's went on to have a franchise changing career.. and that's if you throw in Chad Pennington. Two of the 33 busts where friggin Bills picks. 9 QB's taken later than round 1 had impact.. 0 of those were friggin Bills picks. So to sum it up.. my biggest fear is these guys not knowing what an NFL QB looks like even if he visits them 4 times.
