Build your own Bills coaching staff....

I would pay Belichick $15 million a year and let him do what ever he wants. Case closed. -

Solid hire, he knows the game and the city. Experience with Nashville does not hurt. Cheers Sabres fans! -

What I don't understand about us...

I'm talking about a specific situation Bills fans have bemoaned, in the light of irrefutable proof that other teams have made similar mistakes. That is my comparison. If you have a counterpoint, fire away. Who cares if you make mistakes if your winning. Back to my original point the Ravens have 2 suporbowl wins since our last playoff game. How can you compare the two? We let Gilmore go to the patriots and your talking about being able to sign Maclin because we freed up space. -

I dont think you can compare the Bills to the Chiefs and Ravens, Last I checked Ravens won 2 super bowls since the bills played a playoff game. -
Decker to be cut or traded
Charlottebillsfan2 replied to MAJBobby's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I actually like what the Jets are doing, free up cap space. Tank this season and rebuild the right way. The risk is they better get the QB right. If Darnold starts the season off strong several teams will be all over him. I'd hate to see Darnold and Brady in the AFC East. -

Bars cant start serving till 12 so its more of a tailgate scene. There are a ton of Bills fan here or close by so 9:30 the parking lots will start filling with Bills fans. Its all private lots but Grills, tents, food and booze. You will have a great time down here. Its their home opener so the tailgate scene will be solid. Nothing like Buffalo but still solid.

Public Financing of Stadiums
Charlottebillsfan2 replied to IronyAbounds's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Whether you think the taxpayers should pay for it or not is kind of irrelevant. Its all about supply and demand. Try playing hardball with a NFL franchise and see what happens (insert San Diego here). Their are several cities that would bend over backwards to own the Bills and pay for their stadium. These 32 owners are ruthless business people, that's why most of them are where are the financially. Politicians piss away taxpayers money all the time. At least your getting something back that's tangible and can improve the area of Buffalo. -

The impact of Shady's contract?
Charlottebillsfan2 replied to Rubes's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
We grossly overpaid for a RB, Is he a great player yes. But his the 2nd highest paid RB in the NFL. Id rather use that money on other positions. You can draft a rookie RB and get solid production out of him. I'd be happy not having that contract on the books. -
looking at our schedule I think its safe to say that we will have an opportunity to get one of these guys. Couple that with our second 1st pick were looking good on the Darnold front.

Opening Night, 2017--Who do you root for?
Charlottebillsfan2 replied to MattM's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
got to route for the Pats, every loss counts for the Chiefs. Hopefully they go 3-13, finish last and we end up with Darnold -
I think the Bills finally did whats best for the team and not worrying about what the fans wanted to see. We ended up grabbing a day 1 starting CB, position of need. He also adds value on the special teams side of the ball. By moving back to 27 we save about $6 million over the course of his first contract. Less risk if he does not pan out. We grab another 3 third in a deep draft and now we have flex ability in next years draft with 2 number ones. Home run yesterday by obd
