    Exactly! Once the D took the field, I just KNEW it would end the same way all the others did. I was praying for a tie. (Feel gross even typing that)

    As soon as we kicked the FG, the game was over. Never once has our D made the game ending stop. If it has, I can’t recall when. We have better chance to win going for it on 4th and 10 on our own end of the field, hoping for a walk off TD drive than we would letting our D ever take the field needing a stop.

    If you watch the play Kelsey literally headbutts the ground when he snaps the ball to make sure no one gets lower than him.

    I like the concept of thinking of something new, but a lot of times, they hurry to the line and don’t allow the D the substitute.

    If he’s on the sidelines, he’s directly approachable / confrontable by the players. I think he likes the distance / safety. Like a telephone tough guy. Shrinking violet face to face. He should be on the field with his guys. If he need aerial views, they can send them to his iPad.

    Didn’t that coach’s halftime interview seem like he was throwing the O under the bus. Like he said, I did my job… Seemed kind of small…

    So it’s where they were when the ball is thrown…I guess that’s a more consistent place to enforce. Bah…makes sense but still it really looked bad. Dude was almost at the 1st down marker. I wish we had innovation and/or crafty experience on our staff…

    I miss the fired up leader Josh. I think that we may have gotten the wrong lesson from the 2020/Covid season with no fans. Thinking we need him to just be ice cold and detached to win. Watching him now, I get more Cutler vibes than Unquestioned Leader vibes. When was the last time we saw JA17 firing up the team? It’s like he’s a shadow of himself.

    This was obviously a set up so BB’s 300th win was worth something. Rigged from the beginning. In all seriousness though, if we’re going to have a soft served D anyway, we might as well get an O focused coach. Bad bad game.

    I think Taylor was just playing fast. Much faster than Jones, so the ball came out quicker, leading to fewer pressures/sacks. Jones holds onto the ball (when he isn’t fumbling it) much too long. If he was in there, I think you’d see that D performance you were expecting IMO

    Who knows. Maybe his years of world class health care and very few carry’s allowed him to fully recover his body. I wouldn’t be surprised if he hasn’t felt this good in years. Good for him, I truly wish him the best as I do all former Bills.
