  1. And I say as a general Rule it was a good move. Defense showed did plenty to win this game. Anytime, in today’s NFL, you hold an opponent to 250 total Yds and 16 pts you should expect to win that game.
  2. As of now the hourly says around 30% chance during game times. So I’m not real worried about that. Tailgating doesn’t look optimal though. That stinks
  3. And they would be correct. Eric mangini brought this up 2 days ago on “first things first” as he was trying to explain his Bills pick to Nick wright as Wright was throwing a typical Chiefs fan temper tantrum when somebody doesn’t automatically crown them as gods gift… He explained why he liked the Bills out of the AFC but then he eloquently went on to explain that it’s not an anti-chiefs pick and more of just a pick that sides with historical evidence….. And Wright proceeded to plug his ears, stomp his feet, and hold his breath like the toddler that he is.
  4. The qb is most likely done after this year.... you wanna predict a scenario where thats not dropping them into obscurity? ..... and context is key. 7 of first 11 qb's they played last year were rookies or backups. Once they got into the meat of their schedule and the playoffs they were completely exposed. And i think we both know theres a difference between getting embarrassed at home in the wildcard vs on the road in the title game. come on man.
  5. Their denial is astonishing. Living in NW PA i deal with enough of them. Their reason that browns wont be good this year "because they're the browns". You're 100% correct about living in the past. As far as their future? I've had numerous laughable convos with them about how Haskins can be groomed and they'll be contenders for years to come.... they are all gonna have a real rough transition into the Post-Ben era.
  6. 2 teams heading in completely different directions. I'm sorry for the lot of you(its a startling amount of you) that havnt come to grips with that yet. Its gonna make your decade long transition into the NFL middle class that much harder on your psyche.
  7. Looks like If you ever wanna see another game in person you’ll need to root for another playoff drought…. I’ll keep your seat warm until then.
  8. Which is funny because i'm the exact opposite. All this summer and even into the start of this week i've been adamant we'd boat race them, and now i'm getting gun shy and losing my nerve. LOL.
  9. I agree. I think its sort of silly. But i agree.... they were drooling over this one specific throw on GMFB just yesterday or the day before when allen came up in discussion.
  10. Well I just watched Stephen A. Smith scoff at Damien Woody for picking buffalo out of the AFC. His biggest gripe? "I dont count what happened last year because of covid opt-outs"..... So the universe is trying to balance itself out.
  11. I looked around and couldn’t find these anywhere. Some cool tidbits out of Buffalo.
  12. My point was it seemed you try to fall back on their record as an argument that Ben was significantly better the first part of the year. I would argue the teams they played had much more to do with that record than his slightly better play.
  13. Do yourself a favor and go look at the teams and qb’s they faced during that start. Jeff driscal, Wentz, Daniel Jones, griffin, garret gilbert, Joe burrow,…. Jake freakin Lutton for god sakes. that team was a complete fraud and it showed up later. It wasn’t even dalton. It was third stringer gilbert.
  14. you might be. IMO too many people are just assuming the steelers defense is gonna be elite again. We know first hand(2020) what dealing with some injuries, departures, and elite qb's can do to a defense we expect to be good. Tuitt is a huge piece thats gone, Dupree is a good player, and in your original prediction you fail to mention the departure of Hilton, and Nelson. Hilton was a top 3 nickel CB last year and Nelson was an above average #2cb. Their defense is gonna have 4 new starters at key positions. I personally dont see them being nearly as dominant. Then lets factor in an offensive line that was already awful inserting 2 rookies into opening day as they travel to a notoriously raucous environment. All of this against a team returning 21 of 22 starters after going 13-3..... I personally just dont think pittsburgh is gonna be all that good.
  15. I’m confident they will show up. But if they don’t, against what looks like a bottom tier line for Pitt, it’s gonna throw up big time red flags for our season IMO.
  16. Anyone think the raucous environment could fluster their starting 2(or is it 3?) rookie OL into a handful of pre-snap penalties?
  17. I mean. I feel odd saying it but it’s gotta be a Super Bowl title. I think that’s a reasonable expectation….. and typing that out made me feel weird. But I could get used to it.
  18. I’ve said this a couple times this week already. But The Hilton loss in the nickel will loom large. He’s very good. Beez and Manny should eat just fine outta the slot this week
  19. Tuitt is out for sure. I don’t believe watt will miss it
  20. Good discussion this morning from the GMFB crew. Michael Robinson was on so you know dang well he was gonna pound the table for his boy Allen!
  21. I have. Finally just expecting excellence. I’m also doing my best to quit being so triggered and sensitive by anyone that hints towards the bills having troubles…. We Bills fans have a lot to work through. 😂
  22. If you don’t even know that Ben actually played in last years game how can we possibly expect you to know and understand that they lost vital pieces off their defense. And lost their 3 best lineman off an already garbage OL. … They will be firmly out of the mix by December.
  23. Stop. If he shows up under contract he plays. we should all expect to see watt next Sunday. The Tuitt loss is a big one though.
  24. I’ve gotta think LT is a worry for them as well. I read yesterday it was gonna be their 4th round rookie with Banner now on the IR.
  25. i've already brought this up multiple times but the losses of Hilton and Nelson for them arent being talked about nearly enough. Its just assumed they'll be an elite defense again this year. But thats arguably the best nickel cb in the game and a very good #2 corner that are gone.... not to mention they now wont have Tuitt(11 sacks) for at least the first 3 weeks of the season. Those are notable absences. I expect Sanders and Beasley to come away with full bellies from the slot in this matchup.
