I disagree with basically all of this. These awards aren’t voted on by fans and they definitely are a good indicator of how a player performed any given week.

This is cool and I’m not trying to be a jerk because Ive never participated and any Edmunds tongue lashings around here, but if 6 tackles and 1 int got it done how non-existent were the rest of NFL defenses this week? Lol Maybe being the centerpiece to another dominant performance was involved in the voting.

Does anyone think there's anything to the Chiefs moving Jones outside? Could it be why there hemorrhaging rush yards and not getting much of a rush now? Maybe he's not good enough to handle the good tackles of the NFL? Have they sprinkled him back to the inside at all? Im just really curious because he's been an absolute nightmare for our interior lineman. I've got to assume thats a matchup they feel like they need to take advantage of..... I also have to wonder if the refs are gonna let their DB's drape all over our wr's again. We saw how they had to alter that approach in the superbowl once they got called for it and what it led to. As far as the matchup with their D as a whole goes. I guess i'm in the camp that needs to see Allen actually do it against them before i'll just expect it. Even against what looks to be a crap defense. I've got some scar tissue from those games.

well.... he was a backup for 2/3 of his rookie year... so thats obviously gonna skew things a bit... a prior post stating its good we have an early out on his contract because he's day to day with a hammy tweak is just dumb... glad we had this interaction. lets try again in a year or so. k. BYE.

I'll add one more. Brady Quinn was on NBC sports and said he loved Allen after his rookie year after the games he won and how he carried the team with absolutely no weapons. So last year i wasnt confident we could do this but would you agree, after what we've seen over the last 2 weeks, that we may be able to chew them up on the ground this year? and i'm just spitballing here but might Jones having been moved to the edge made the teeth of their D more vunerable this year and thats what we're seeing with them?
