  1. this sounds like something SLAMMER would say.......
  2. he also posted 950 yds dealing with geno smith for a season and then had a nice 1000 yds and 12 td in 2015. I feel like his production has been solid no matter who is tossing him the football. I mean it was obviously better when manning was slinging it his way... he hasn't been a world beater but he's been a really good #2 wr for a couple of teams now. probably still rather have maclin though. regardless I just wanna see DEPTH at the position.... I don't ever wanna deal with watching a guy like walt friggin powell starting a game ever again.
  3. first off..... this is what i added to my post seconds after i put it up .... "as for maclin.... i think it could only be a good addition and amazing depth for the right price. i doubt he'll be satisfied with that price though, and i'm sure somebody with some available money will give him a bit more than he's worth" and 2nd you completely shifted the focus of what everyone was mocking..... your notion taylor has consistently had great receivers to work with. thats what my post was commenting on. it was hilarious. like, you actually freaking said that. think about that.
  4. i love that i finally click into this thread and the only thing i see is one classically HORRIBLE post getting quoted with gifs and memes just owning it..... lol.... that made my day. one whole page quoting just lambasting a downright awful post. as for maclin.... i think it could only be a good addition and amazing depth for the right price. i doubt he'll be satisfied with that price though, and i'm sure somebody with some available money will give him a bit more than he's worth.
  5. on one hand crusher says he doesn't mind giving him another year and on the other he says we have halfback impersonating a qb...... I could be mistaken but I think its quite evident he's gonna be disgruntled if taylor shows up and plays nice ball. in fact it doesn't really matter how taylor plays this year, i'm pretty sure his and couple other posters minds are made up regardless of outcome. ..... and could somebody please name a halfback in the nfl that could step in and post a top 10 passer rating at any point in their career? do posters really understand how stupid they look when they spew crap like that onto a keyboard?
  6. i'm assuming scheduling and other things go into it as well.... regardless. we were in the hunt all the way up until a week 16 loss and the ravens werent scaring anyone.
  7. without seeing the formula from which these rankings came from the initial elephant in the room to me, in the afc, is the ravens.... 5th best shot? really? seems to me they've been trending downward since 2012. i mean, i remember thinking when they were 3-0 last year that they were one of the least impressive 3-0 teams ive seen in a long while and then they only got worse. and color me a homer, but werent we within a game of the playoffs all the way into week 16? and yet the bills are ranked that low? debatable i'd say.
  8. i dont see any reason that cant happen if they let the guys up front going huntin' like the previous 2 years before rex showed up. i mean if you think about the 5 primary rushers that will being after the qb, its really quite impressive. i agree. the secondary is worrisome.... i'm cautiously optimistic that rush can help them out quite a bit though.
  9. its fairly evident thats big part of taylors game that needs working on. but to turn a blind eye to the teams alex smith has had around him in the debate is just so foolish..... more so than anything its pretty obvious that smith has won on a regular basis becuz of the good situations he was involved with in each city.... lets not act like his 15 td's last year was lighting anyone on fire. smith doesnt make big mistakes, he's efficient(sound like anyone you know?) and his team supports him on both sides of the ball. it would be hard to convince me that taylors play wouldnt have gotten the chiefs of the last couple years to the playoffs or the niners that smith had a couple years ago as well. glossing over that and just picking and choosing weak points of taylors that help your arguement is just silly
  10. well that puts winston on my "do not draft" list for fantasy football this year. fitz ALWAYS finds himself starting eventually. lol
  11. obviously not reasonable to expect a return to what he was but he went under the radar for a couple years while he was remarkable there in Zona.
  12. i cant freaking believe anyone would pin anything from that game on taylor. what the hell more do you want from the guy there? he plays out of his mind in that game as whole. drives down for the go ahead score with less than a minute left. then put together a good drive in OT before an absurd reverse to bush ruins it and then the kicker misses the kick......... and somehow you find something to b*tch about there. YIKES. btw. i agree taylor left plays on the table all season long and it may have cost us..... but on the season as whole one unit did their jobs way better than the other. i just cant believe anyone would try and use that 2nd miami game as an argument against him. thats absurd to me.
  13. so are you trying to say the fins got to the playoffs based on qb play? becuz thats absurd.....
  14. does anyone else find the bolded ironic?
  15. off topic but am I the only one that winced and sighed in huge disappointment and utter sadness when migrating over to this board after BBMB shut down and saw that "Crusher" had made his way over.....
  16. well then this settles it. can we all please go back to arguing about comp%, Rating, and other stats for the layman. and the bolded made me LOL. that's just classic there! hahaha.
  17. pretty darn accurate summary i'd say. I totally agree with everything here..... I've said it too many times already but I think it needs repeating sometimes around here. if I had come to a group of bills fans and said going into week 17 you'll have the 6th scoring offense and league record low 9 turnovers through 15 games, EVERYONE would take that ALL DAY EVERYDAY. anyone saying differently cant be taken seriously and is honestly trying to be difficult for the sake of it. taylor had ups and downs but at the end of the day he led a legit offense that would have been dancing in mid January if he had an support around him. namely on defense. Complete/well rounded teams can win a lot of games with a guy like taylor at the helm(nobody can convince me alex smith has been noticeably better than taylor over the last 2 seasons). steve young had said after the season ended, when taylors return was up in the air, that he would love to see taylor land with a "qb-centric" staff dedicated to helping him hone his craft. that he was very excited for the qb taylor may become..... I hope dennison brings that kind of love to our qb's.
  18. little too inconsistent for me to be able to call him a "good" qb. but I certainly think he has some very good moments. I also find him just down right maddening at points. but as a whole I think he's a solid option. he's not breaking the bills bank nor is he stopping them from still progressing their search for a star prospect.... I think its really just that simple. dunno why people are losing their minds over it. but you're right. at this point, even if we find our way to the postseason and he has a solid year, there are going to be people in the stands that have their minds made up and wont buy in.
  19. even still..... you would think they would have enough brain to realize taylor really isn't breaking our bank and keeping him doesn't mean we cant still look for a star qb. for the life of me I cant figure out why people think those 2 things have to be mutually exclusive. we can keep him at his reasonable price and still do the things necessary to find a young star prospect..... hence the move to have 2 first rounders in the bank for next year. it really shouldn't cause such an uproar. I personally think they are in a really cool position. We have a solid option at qb that has shown the ability to win as long as the rest of the team shows up, and we have plenty of ammo going forward to make a move at qb we deem fit. pretty cool scenario if ya ask me.
  20. lol. already booked, bruh... where exactly i was talking "tough", i dunno. but whatever floats your boat, man.
  21. only been on here a couple of weeks now and this post along with your "its obvious they are tanking" one on the previous page are 2 of the poorest ive seen yet I think. there were no free agents that were upgrades..... and taylors winning record has been in spite of the defense and their ineptitude over 2 seasons. if somebody has watched this offseason shake out and all they gleaned from it so far is that we are in tank mode... well that's just downright comical. just silly. if somebody had come to you before the 16 season started and said "the bills will have the 7th ranked scoring offense and record low 9 TO's through 16 weeks" you would have taken that ALL DAY EVERYDAY. there are so many things to point towards on the bills for a lack luster season. taylor and the offense are pretty darn low on that list. the only think tanking here are your posts from the last couple pages.... just wow. so friggin bad... SO BAD.
  22. well that..... and the fact that hogan had one monster game in the playoffs.... so the fact he only had 36 catches here is on tyrod!
  23. dude you just tried saying hogan was "the guy" in NE after a 38 catch season..... please go ahead and retreat back into the shadows.
  24. "shadybillsfan" is literally basing his whole argument for hogan off one games worth of work. its absurd. ya cant take a someone like that seriously. and those numbers you show say it all. it literally cant get anymore cut and dry than that..... but yet a couple posters swear they saw our 4th and 5th stringers open all day!!! just ask them! they'll tell ya! EYEBALL TEST!
  25. its really really silly to call a wr "the guy" based off ONE playoff game.... that fact that you cant see that is comical.
