  1. Go ahead and peep my above post. And those were just 2 off the very top of my head. There’s a handful of examples I’m sure. EDIT: here’s another. Ricky Jackson’s sack totals from 33-37 years of age…. 11.5, 13, 11.5, 3, 9.5
  2. right but my original point to the pats fan was we didnt need Miller to get us over the hump. The roster was already there. I think thats pretty clear. Him saying he doesnt even think Miller gets us over the edge is silly, when it quite literally took a freak occurrence to end the season
  3. you're missing the point. it was an anomalous event.... a freak, generational type happening is what kept them from moving on.
  4. IMO its Miller just due to the implications and expectations that come with it because of where this team is at as opposed to where we were when williams came aboard.
  5. After reading this the 2 names that immediately came to mind for me when i thought of mercenary pass rushers that did it forever were Doleman and Greene. Looked them up. Sure enough they're also perfect examples of instant pass rush for any team they went to late in their careers.... Chris Doleman ages 33-38... 7, 9, 11, 12, 15, 8.... for 3 different squads Kevin Greene ages 33-37... 9, 14, 10, 15, 12... 4 different stints. There might be other examples beyond that but those were the first 2 that immediately came to my mind.
  6. bro... it was the first time in over 15 years a team took the lead with 13 seconds or less and lost that game. and i'd bet LARGE money that mahomes never pulls something like that off again... so stop it. you're wrong. you could even blame it on horrible situational football from our coaches. but the bills ROSTER was superbowl caliber and showed it.
  7. The bills were already over the hump and it took a flukey turn of events to change that. This was a superbowl team before this signing.
  8. so i dont do much on twitter(3 followers) but i have an account just to scroll and view quick reporting.... my god, the amount of people that dont understand how current NFL contracts work is alarming.
  9. Bill Barnwells Winners/Losers of FA to this point. Same song and dance just a different year. Smart and reasonable signings. I feel like you could read a write up of any of Beanes FA periods in buffalo and not be able to guess the year that it happened.... other than the Diggs move, obviously. https://www.espn.com/nfl/insider/story/_/id/33512732/nfl-free-agency-2022-picking-early-winners-losers-negotiating-window-including-buccaneers-jaguars-cowboys Winners: Buffalo Bills As usual, the Bills seem to have a coherent, thoughtful plan for the free-agent period. They've done a few reasonable deals to retain players, including center Mitch Morse (two years, $19.5 million), cornerback Siran Neal (three years, $9 million) and Isaiah McKenzie (two years, $4.4 million), who should step into the slot receiver role about to be vacated by Cole Beasley. The Bills don't have a ton of cap space, but I also like the two moves they've made outside the organization. Bringing in Rodger Saffold III from the Titans gives Buffalo a solid starting guard and a replacement for Daryl Williams, who was cut one year into his three-year extension. The Bills also added running back J.D. McKissic on a two-year deal for $7 million -- close to half of what the Dolphins paid for a similar player in Chase Edmonds. DaQuan Jones's two-year, $14 million deal nets Buffalo the third defensive tackle it needed after losing Harrison Phillips to the Vikings. Brandon Beane & Co. have generally been content to shop in the middle class of free agency for the majority of the GM's tenure. It has usually worked. Sean McDermott and his coaching staff deserve plenty of credit for getting more out of players in Buffalo than their former organizations, but the Bills continue to make the sort of reasonable moves they employed to climb to the top of the AFC East.
  10. This is absolute garbage. lets add in his absurd half against Pitt on SNF where he was basically a one man crew... and then 2020 wildcard and divisional games where he went for over 100 and a td in each.
  11. Be free, Mongo…. To a place without food shaming I would hope. … dipping my next wing or piece of pizza in ranch in his honor.
  12. I’d say Jackson’s p***ed and looking to put it to the team that won’t resign him by trying to get himself on the division powerhouse
  13. it was a real "thing" for a handful on here. it was comical then and downright hilarious now.
  14. so what does "isnt all that unusual" mean to you?
  15. so another way of saying this that would make it a non-story is "insiders confirm theres a normal and healthy amount of friction amongst staff".... got it. moving on.
  16. i'm not banking on this years 2 game stretch every single time he enters the dance but i think he's shown that he definitely has a switch he can flip come postseason.
  17. I saw this the other day an almost posted it but i'm in a postseason lull. Those numbers a freaking mind blowing.... It's a daggone shame more light hasnt been shone on them on the national stage. But we lost the way we lost and the season trudged on with other storylines. ... What a freaking BEAST.
  18. A 4th is considered a higher pick? Come on man. And more valuable that Barkley? That’s borderline absurd IMO.
  19. Pundits thoughts on the possibility
  20. Just saw a stat that Gronk was 2nd among TE's in yards after the catch. And that was only playing 12 games.... isnt YAC something we've all agreed needs fixing around here? So here we have a guy that had 800+ yards in 12 games. Was 2nd at his position in YAC. Is still an elite blocking TE. And people are talking about not wanting "the ghost of gronk" or a run down player. Its knee jerk and its drastically inaccurate....... he lost his cool 5 years ago. get over it. i bet white has.
  21. Fact: I’d be perfectly fine with the addition of Gronk and I’m a diehard bills fan. Actually not just fine, but in favor of it. Fact: it’s not BS. They were interested last year as well. sorry there’s so many butthurt sensitive fans that can’t wrap their heads around it. National FOOTBALL league. Not the national Good Samaritan league or nice guy league. Give me the upgrade at the position for 2 TE sets with Knox/Gronk … I’d absolutely LOVE seeing the Gronk spike in a foxboro end zone, in a bills uniform
  22. Right!?!? 800+ Yards in 12 games. Who in the world wants that as another option in the offense? Especially if they are an elite blocker at their position as well! YUCK! 🙄🙄🙄🙄🙄🙄
  23. You can understand you totally screwed up the final seconds of the game and still understand that the playoff OT rules also sorta blow. its not one or the other.... but i wouldnt expect anything thing short of your initial comment here. its very .... you.
