Week 6. Get Cordy and Shaq some needed time, Dareus still seems gimpy. Now Humber and Jordan have thumb issues. Take this momentum into next week, go all out and get that much needed week off. Great win today Bills, Cincy away will be another huge test. Let's Go Buffalo!!!

I would like to hear some opinions on what you thought about Dion's first start... what do you all think and we did you see?

Social Injustice... BS!!! No one batted an eye when Obama supported those who were against those with "white privileged".... or stood on the side of thugs who killed police officers etc. This is a two way street on both sides but it's just everyone has a hard on for Trump. Politics need to be left out of sports, cause at the end of the day, that's all this is!

I think Peterman may be pretty good. But in the draft, I'll be happy with... Darnald Rosen Allen Rudolph Unless we finish outside a top 20 pick we should have a good chance at one of those guys. I think Darnold and Rosen go top 5. I like Allen. Yeah Wyoming is terrible but this kid may be the most physically gifted of all them. I want to see him have time to throw and also at Senior Bowl if he goes. Mayfield (wildcard) 2nd Rd

You don't think Adolpus Washington didn't come in here looking up to Dareus as a leader, coming off a pro bowl season? That's my point, rookies and such come here and just to never see our "top" players actually on the field.... not good, injury or not.
-
It's not lumping them together, as player type, heart, off field issues etc.... I'm lumping them together because neither are on the field and I see this continuing to be an issue this year and maybe further.... if that's the case, with these 2 being "leaders" and not being on the field etc how does that affect the team? Plus being the 2 highest paid individuals on the team as well, what do you do? Cause this could have a bigger impact to the team besides just not being on the field. There is a mental side to the game that other players feed off of when the team is whole and when the team is down in a hole health wise. Maybe I just think the whole Dareus and Cordy health issues presents a bigger issue for the future than most. I think both of them are not gonna return to full health. With Dareus it's more of a mental aspect included.

I bring it up because 1. He is not on the field 2. He's not part of the new staffs picks. 3. It's a nagging foot injury (how long is too long). 4. He is one of the highest paid players. 5. Set the example on the field isn't there. I agree, losing him would suck. But what if Cordy goes into next spring and he's still dealing with this foot? It becomes an eye sore. Yeah we all feel for him but it's also hard to have players buying into a system when your top players are on the sideline. I hope folks aren't taking this as me bashing either one of these guys. I'm just saying health sooner or later will drag a team down not just the player. Plus I see McD and Beane being the type of guys that will give you a chance and the time you need. But after that, "sorry we just gotta have you on the field and this team and your teammates are relying on you being out there and that's not happening. We gotta let you go" type of guys. I guess a good question is... we all know there will be a significant cap hit with either one of these guys, but how much money would be saved?
-
It would be... but the point was if he can't get on the field this year, what should the Bills do? Hope next year is better? Point was, right now, our 2 highest paid players are on the bench. And may be on the bench quite often this year, is it worth it? And how does it impact the rest of the team never seeing these guys on the field. I'm sure they are inspired.

Over/Under games played Dareus 12 games Cordy 10 games What are you taking?
-
The Bills 2 highest paid players on this squad? Dareus has been such a let down. Physically has all the tool of a Warren Sapp just doesn't have the intensity or drive. No qualms with Cordy except wth, can he be counted on? LT will be in high demand next draft as well as DT. Bad thing is, I doubt either one of these players could be traded. But at this rate if neither really produce this year it may be worth moving on and taking the hit. To me it's like a huge eye sore for the rest of the team knowing 2 "leaders", veterans on this team who are each the highest paid on both sides of the ball cant be counted on on Sunday's. I'm just frustrated as all heck with these 2. I get it, it's an Injury deal, which is true but Cordy hasn't lived up to his potential/pay and we all know Dareus already has 1 foot out the door. All this while Zo a 34 yr old OLB is balling out of control!!!!

Watch how often TT gives signals or calls audibles... its very seldom. Where I believe in the Brady Payton style, call something every play. A lot of its garbage just to get the defense thinking.
-
If Tyrod cant read a defense very well and isn't allowed to audible etc... The offense needs to line up out of the called formation (dummy formation) initially then quickly shift and hike the ball. Call a dummy formation, then call the play. The shift will happen at the Que from the QB. The defense is always making pre snap reads based on formation, down and distances, shifts etc. As an offense, you have to keep the defense guessing. I don't care how bad your QB is... if they have 8 in the box, with 5 on the line and you can't audible to a go route or a hitch if they are off 9-10 yards etc then what are we doing?
-
How many more games will it take where our top QB throws for 15 yards in a single half before you pull him? Serious question truly. Panthers have a very good defense, but not that good. That's embarrassing. If he had the accuracy and timing this team should be able to run the 3 step drop routes consistently. Why is it we can't complete the 5 yard hitches? 5 yard outs? Some slants? A quick TE pop? 2 of his WR had a reception each after 3 Qtrs. People have a legitimate concern when our defense holds them to 3 FGs and our offense flops all but the last drive against a semi prevent defense. I see the same problems vs Denver this week... Atlanta will be tough as well. TT is not this teams QB. After the Atlanta game if things don't change I'd like to see a QB battle breakout. Simply saying I'd just like to see a simple game plan put together for Peterman and go from there. If he flops too. Well the QBs split time during the week and the best QB plays. By then I could care less about feelings. It will be evident to the team that QB position is in dire need. But 15 yards in a half or even 53 yards after 3 Qtrs is unsat and no franchise can sit by and act like that's acceptable. Let's see how TT plays the next couple games and go from there. But last Sunday was again, embarrassing.
-
There will be solid QBs to be had in the 2nd and 3rd rounds next year. This draft is super deep at QB. I would bet 8 QBs may be drafted in the first 3 rds. 5 of those 8 may be 1st rd talent but will slide due to demand. If Peterman can show potential you may want to grab a QB with one of our two 2nd rd picks. Even more the reason for this staff to truly see Peterman through a span of games. We all know TT won't be a Bill next year regardless....
-
It irritates me that this team can't complete your basic 3 step drop passes, 5yd hitch, out, a slant etc. Joe B pointed out TT had 2 completions to a WR through 3 Qtrs yesterday. That's embarrassing!!!! Panthers D is good, but they ain't that damn good! One more game like that from TT he should be done. If McDermott is gonna be a man of his word a look to build at every position... he can't stand by a guy who has 15 passing yards in a half and can't get the ball out quickly.
-
39 total yards in the first half is hard to swallow!!! Most teams that put up a number like that don't have opportunities to win many ball games. Tyrod plays with zero fire and his lack of verbal leadership bothers me.

If you're not gonna throw for a first down you might as well run the ball and run out the clock!!!!! Or force a TO -

Gotta get Tyrod out of the pocket!!!!! I hate when he thinks he can just sit in there like he's Big Ben. -
Do you think we can beat Carolina?
CEN-CAL17 replied to Steptide's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I think Cam will be on the move all day.... He will be throwing up a lot of 50/50 balls which is scary due to Carolinas WR size.... -
He got a point... to a point. New England's Defense didn't play so well. New England's WRs were so-so. No Edelman, No Amendola for the next week, Cooks and Dorsett are still trying to fit in. And Honestly Gronk looked slow and clunky out there. Brady went 16 of 36.... accuracy was off. So absolutely, as of today. If Buffalo plays well this week, beat Jets. Yeah, going into week 2 Buffalo may be the best all around team. Cutler sucks, Jets same. Difference is New England's offense will come around soon and their defense will get relief. The only reason New England Defense has good stats every year is because they play 1 deminsional offenses cause New England's offense is always up big. Not so much last Monday. Big prediction.... Gronk nor Brady finish the season due to injury. Been saying it for months.

Yeah that was a hopeful #, seriously though if we have to hit 7-8 starters, solid starters or yes after the current contracts it might be tough if we only hit on 3-4 positions.
