Nick Fitzgerald? or did you mean Ferguson?

As I’ve said Rudolph, Ferguson and Finley are in the Bills wheel house as far as potential picks. Not to mention all 3 of them looked solid in their Bowl games. This isn’t a response of who’s better... just wondering if anyone pays attention to those 3. I think Darnold stays at USC, Rosen goes top 2, Allen goes shortly after and Mayfield goes top 15. No to Jackson.

I just think from all the stuff Beane has put out there, fans fill there is no way he is gonna pay Cousins $25M per. I don’t thinks it’s that people don’t like Cousins, it’s more they know it won’t happen.

Yep. All but Cousins. It won’t happen. Gaines, Absolutely- I wouldn’t pay him more than $6M per I’d prefer $5M. I want Allen Robinson, Jeff Janis (should get less than Hogan($4M), $2-3M per Maybe) and Thompson in FA, don’t even worry about WR in the draft. Kelvin Benjamin Allen Robinson (replaces Matthews) Zay Jones (Slot) Jeff Janis (replaces Holmes, great ST) Thompson Cordy needs to be healthy or just cut your losses. Nobody knows what’s really going on with him which is worse. I think he could be done. Preston Brown is not a McD type LB, he did his best and played decent all year. But the tape shows at times he’s a liability in coverage, a little slow. Im curious to see what Leighton Vander Esch from Boise St runs at the combine, Mountain West Defensive Player of the year, 6’4” 240. And Would love Nwosu from USC to replace Lorax at OLB.

Gaines does have a past of Injuries. He played and is said to be a better zone CB.... it’s not like he is this all around shut down CB, leave him on an island and can count on him for 16 games. 5yr $32M 18 guaranteed Ballpark Hes missed a lot of games the past few years... if not, yes possibly $9M per, but that’s not even close to being the case. I don’t see him being a hot ticket in FA.

I’ve been saying some time now, I’ll wait until after he play Georgia and possibly Clemson or Alabama. I don’t care what his “weaknesses” are... He went into OSU and performed well, and if he lights it up against 2 of those 3 and brings OU a National Championship I will be impressed. Very impressed.

Exactly, some fans have a hard time reading between the lines. Build through the draft and keep the spending down. Beane’s goal is to hit on the next 2-3 drafts and have a bunch of talent on rookie contracts. Why do fans think he’s gonna go out and pay Cousins $20M+ per year? QB will not be the position filled in FA.

Call me crazy... Anyone watch the boy who was a GM for a Day? The boy goes into Beane’s office and Beane is watching film. He’s watching a game from Nevada, on defense. So looking at all of Nevada’s top players they had a DE Malik Reed, Voted all Conference. Seems to be a later round pick, 5th rd. 6’2” 250 considered to have a great first step...

We could probably get to #3 with both our 1sts this year and 1st next year.... But fans would go crazy giving up 3 firsts for the 3rd best QB possibly.

Usually the NFL humbles players and helps them refocus, unless you just “love me some me”! Maybe that’s Rosen maybe he doesn’t have an issue. But there’s a lot of smoke out there. As I’ve said and been saying. Fans need to quit thinking Rosen, Darnold, Allen, Even Mayfield if he balls the next 2 weeks. Bills fans should start asking who they want out of Jackson, Rudolph, Ferguson, Finley.... Those are your QBs who will be drafted picks 15-45. Dont see this FO trading picks unless it’s to get more picks. Arrogance as in, he knows more than coaches and he knows what’s best....

Nobody is saying it’s 100% fact. I too have seen it on this board, folks who claim they know people on campus who have “heard”, I seen the frustration on Elite 11. I did say the Scouts, Coaches GMs will do some digging. They will get the info. Im simply said I watched Elite 11 which basically supported some of the “stories” you hear. I’m all for trading down from 18 and picking up a late 2nd and grabbing Riley Ferguson, Ryan Finley or Mason Rudolph if he is still there. Outside Darnold, Rosen, Allen and Maybe Mayfield, I’m all for getting more picks. Picking up a late 1st rd QB, extra picks and signing a vet QB to compete. As I’ve said before, I think the team like Peterman, I too think once the game slows down for Peterman he may be solid.

All I’m saying is you’re hearing to same stories out of college. Ive read stuff where Rosen’s teammates are sometimes turned off. Where with Mayfield he’s done some immature stuff but his teammates love him. Takevit for what it’s worth. Scouts, coaches and the GM will get all the insider info. Talent isn’t everything.

Ever watch the Elite 11, a lot of the coaches didn’t like his coach ability cause of his demeanor/character

Above Average Arm, great accuracy and moves well in the pocket. He extends many plays by his ability to move in the pocket and does a great job going through his progressions. I too think he is a 2nd rd pick, he’s 23 yrs old which isn’t bad. What is gonna be the difference maker is what teams dig up on him as far as character, leadership and how smart the guy is. But he’s a very smooth and relaxed player. Looked great today, watch the Louisville game.... Rosen, Darnold, Allen (1-10) Mayfield, Jackson (10-20) Rudolph (20-25), Finley (25-40), Ferguson (40-50)

Tomorrow night Ryan Finley will play. I see him being one of those names that starts creeping up and start being talked about late 1st rd. We will see, he goes to Sun Devil Stadium to play the ASU Sun Devils in their Bowl game.

2018 Draft both Rd 1 picks and probably a 3rd or 4th rd pick plus 2019 Draft Rd 1 pick That would get the Bills the #1 overall this year. But if they want Darnold they have to get the #1 overall, otherwise it aint worth it.....

No way do I think the FO trades away multiple picks to move up into the top 3 unless players are involved, which I doubt as well. Realistically a lot of teams are looking for a QB in round 1. Rosen, Darnold, Allen, Jackson and Mayfield all go Top 15 IMO. So unless the Bills want to only move up a few spots to grab Mayfield or Jackson, I see them going after a guy like Ryan Finley or even Will Grier in Rd 2. Maybe Rudolph late Rd 1 but I don't think his arm is there. I really think folks need to cross off Rosen, Darnold and Allen off their dreamsheets. Slight Chance at Mayfield and Jackson. Without trading up people need to start looking at Rudolph, Finley, Grier, Ferguson.... and expect a Vet to be signed to compete. If the Bills do trade up, they may as well go all in to get the #1 pick. DO NOT TRADE UP TO NOT ASSURE YOU GET YOUR GUY!!!!! That will cost the Bills Both #1s this year (and maybe a later rd pick) and Probably 2019 Rd 1 pick. Honestly I think the Bills think Peterman has more potential than fans are lead to believe. I see the Bills using the top 2 picks for OL and DL, maybe ILB.
