Jarvis Landry says Tyrod Taylor looks "amazing"

He was always sharp here. He still will never be a Franchise Guy. He’ll be on a new team next year regardless -
Joe B: 53 Man Roster Projection - Final
CEN-CAL17 replied to 26CornerBlitz's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Looks decent.. I see them keeping more than 4 DTs, 4 DEs Im thinking 5 DEs and 5 DTs. McDs defense calls for a massive rotation on the DL. With Kyle getting older, Murphy coming off injury I say the keep 5 and 5. Keeping only 6 WRs and 5 CBs will make up that difference. -
I think the defense is going to be stubborn. LB depth is weak. DE is solid but needs to show more this year. Offense is a big ????, Oline will be tough but we don’t know. WR depth is an issue. But it may not be critical due to power run game being the focus. i think this team will be better than last. 10-6 AJ has a great season. Sweep Jets and Dolphins, Spilt New England. Big question is how healthy this team stays cause depth is an issue.

I don’t think he’ll retire or be cut... but i too many of times have have said he lost a step last year, and he’ll probably lose another. I’ve also said he’s the weakest link on the D. I hope im wrong Keenan Robinson is still a FA and think would be a great fit at SLB. Good side, fast and can cover.

I get they are different positions but talking caliber, level of performance, captain qualities etc. A pro bowl caliber player with potential all pro ability vs a guy who never made the pro bowl. I get he’s putting together a team, but you gotta cut weight somewhere else and include Kyle lol
-
You picked a player like Mark Kelso and not Kyle Williams? Kyle Williams is one of the most steadfast players this organization has ever had, maybe one of the best team leaders ever as well!

I don’t understand the planning of all this.... Been a fan for 30 years, seems as if the talk of a new stadium has been talked about for half that time. So over the last 10-15 years the city of Buffalo, the Team with ticket sells, state of New York etc... could have created a tax credit, like raised the price of a ticket 5-10% and that tax would go towards a future stadium. State could have done something similar. Its poor planning, poor investing etc. If measures were taken 15 years ago I feel a $1B stadium could be half paid for.

I like the look of this roster/Defense
CEN-CAL17 replied to RPbillsfan's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I know I’ll get some kick back on this but... I think Lorax is a weak spot on this Defense, last year he looked slow and wasn’t making plays like the year before. I could see another step lost and him losing playing time. A 4-2-5 seems realistic for sure. -
A lot of these comments are the same comments said about Hyde, Poyer last year... now those people are singing a different song. When will fans accept the fact the FO and these coaches know more than they do? He may be used in a totally different way than any other way he’s been used in his career. Bring him in... If they all can agree on his role and all be positive that positive things can happen... then why shouldn’t I!!!

Josh Boyce, WR rumored to have a visit
CEN-CAL17 replied to MAJBobby's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Running NEs offense... yes we will have slot guys, mostly. aka quick, route runners... "But Allen can throw the ball 80 yards!" Just because Allen can throw the ball 80 yards doesn't mean you design an offense around that... Expect 10-15 play drives, hopefully that put up points. -
Brady plans to play at least two more years

Bills lost Sammy Watkins and the deep ball with Tyrod struggled last year. Bills have like 6 WRs who excel at the slot, route running and are like 4.5/4.6 guys... yet everyone thinks The best scheme is for Allen to Air it out, “cause that’s his style”... His style will be to learn the offense and hit the open receiver. Being we have a 6’5” red zone threat and a bunch of slot guys I expect or would assume things will mirror NEs offense. Nobody is answering the question of who our WR is that’s gonna stretch the field.... why do folks still think the offense that’s best for Allen is vertical?
-
Everybody is saying vertical game.... Where is the WRs that are stretching the defense??? Do we have WRs that can possibly get deep from time to time sure... but who is the burner 9 route only guy? Who is that guy on NE? That’s my point. But but but “Allen has to throw it deep”.... ok to whom?
-
Nobody is excluding the deep post, 15 yd outs etc.... point is I see a lot more 3-5 yd digs, curls, outs and slants.... 70% of the routes ran in NE offense is taking what the defense gives you. Great route runners are always open at a specific time within a specific route. No doubt they will take their shots deep, roll outs waggle style patterns. But I see a lot of Shotgun, catch set throw 2 second plays in the form of NE style. Based on WR strengths, QB quick release and ability to get the ball in the hands of those WRs quickly.

Start Allen from Day 1/ QB competition
CEN-CAL17 replied to BuffaloBud420's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Just let whoever earns the right to start, earn the right to start. I expect AJ to be tough to beat out. But all things equal.... Start Allen. -
Does anyone else feel as if we will be going to a New England style offense that emphasizes route running, quick hitters and getting the ball out quick on timing based routes. It was mentioned Josh Allen has a quick release compared to Tom Brady. It was said even if the accuracy isn’t there, because of the speed of the throw it allows less opportunity for defenders to break on a poorly thrown ball. The Bills have a handful of slot style WRs, a possession WR. Everyone wanted that 4.3 WR yesterday. He never came. How successful was Brandon Cooks for New England? They prefer the Edelman, Amendola, Hogan precise route runners. Bills have a huge Red Zone threat and a possession style WR who can box out defenders and a bunch of precision route runners. Ray Ray and Austin Proehl says it all. Add Zay, Kerley and Streater. Even Reilly is a solid route runner. Call me crazy but I think we are going to see a New England offense that doesn’t look for the big play vs get the ball out quickly with a lot of moving parts.

I hope we get Sameuls. Dude is a football player. Line him up anywhere. Can play RB, motion out for mismatch against LBs, H Back, Wildcat QB....
-
This isn’t off the official visit list.., its a a compiled list of players the Bills have met with... i.e. Senior Bowl, Combine, Pro day etc
