In the pre season? Seriously? Todd Haley has coached at a very high level in this league for a super long time. He’s an above average to very good OC. Daboll is still trying to figure it out. Which is fine I guess, but he’s not on Haley’s level.

Todd Haley vs Brian Daboll.... This is a huge reason Baker will be successful early. Haley is a great OC and Daboll is used to being on great offenses and isn’t getting creative enough. He’s gotta start making things easier for Allen. Asking Allen to consistently drop back and read defenses vs getting the ball out quicker, sprint out quick hitters etc isn’t helping.

They’ve done nothing to make it easier for Allen and this Oline!!!! GET THE BALL OUT QUICKER!!!!

I don’t think there’s an excuse ever for... 3rd & 4 and all your WRs run 20 yards down field. That has nothing to do with a rookie QB. That’s terrible play calling. And it happens more often than not.

Seriously, you started seeing hitches, outs... throwing in a couple rub routes and crossing patterns you may have something to get in a rhythm. But to ask Allen and these WRs in addition to this Oline to block 4-5 seconds to allow these WRs to run 15 yard routes non stop is crazy....

On 3rd & 4, run 5 yard routes!!!! Not 20 yard routes, let’s start there!

Get rid of replay if you can’t see obvious bad calls!!!!!

I’m not saying this is all on Daboll but he calls a 5 yard out on 3rd and 5, Defense was ready it was a tough throw.... Calls a 5 yard hitch in 1st down easily completed. Point is the offense is running a lot of 10-15 routes when it’s not necessary. Run a 3 yd hitch on 1st down. Put a man in motion and run a sprint out quick out on 1st down. Asking Allen to take 5 step drops and read Defenses this early is not fair. Get the ball out quick
