  1. I’m not a fan of Gary. But a lot of write ups claimed Michigan didn’t know what to do with him. Kid was the #1 Highschool prospect and said to have freakish athletic ability for being 6’5” 280. Pretty sure Maybin was never talked about like that at that level. I did read a lot about if he would be able to play DE in the league at 235 through multiple sources and how that scared a lot of teams away. But we we will see come the combine and pro days. If McD thinks he can bring out that freak which Michigan couldn’t I’m all for it. Not saying Gary is bad, but that kid was talked about being #1 overall. McD knows how to get the best out of people. Example... Would Shaq have been on this level with Rex? No way!
  2. From 10 on I could see a bunch of teams want to get ahead of Denver to snitch a QB, including Denver moving up a spot. Denver Cincy Washington Miami Minnesota Bills are in a great spot to move down just slightly but gain a 2nd/3rd this year and a 5th at worst.
  3. Very likely this could happen. DL rotation. This kid can play anywhere along to dline. 6’5” 280 lbs, great athletic ability. Just an underachiever. Most blame is on Michigan style defense and not knowing what to do with the kid. McD is known to tap full potential. If he could get the bulb to go off, maybe this kid be special.
  4. I love TJ Hockenson as the best all around TE since Gronk. Potentially I think he’s better all around TE over OJ Howard who went 19 overall. I’d take Washingtons pick 15 and have zero issues grabbing Hockenson. He may not be flashy but I think him and Josh could connect. Plus grab a 3rd this year and next year.
  5. Preston Williams would be my next option. IMO top 5 WRs (not college, but nfl potential) DK Metcalf Kelvin Harmon NKeal Harry Hakeem Butler Preston Williams Yep to leapfrog Denver. Cincy and Miami could be in the running too.
  6. Those 3 I grabbed could all be huge targets in the passing game. Not to mention Jacobs steps in right away knowing the system and is an amazing runner.
  7. #24 TE TJ Hockenson #27 RB Josh Jacobs #41 WR Hakeem Butler All contingent on they sign a stud FA Center and RT. 3rd round OG
  8. https://www.google.com/amp/www.espn.com/blog/nflnation/post/_/id/292403/our-picks-for-rookies-of-the-year-and-the-leagues-all-rookie-team%3fplatform=amp
  9. Forgot the ? heaven forbid
  10. I think Ronald Curry would be a solid WR coach. Currently Assistant WR with the Saints. Think he’s got 5 years experience now as a coach and has spent the last 3 years under Sean Payton and crew.... Theres been no talk of WR coaching interviews. Maybe they want to interview coaches still currently coaching. What do you think? Any others that they could be looking at or who draws your interest?
  11. He is our new Groy. I still Think they bring back Mills and still sign a Jawaan James type FA. Sign a top FA center and Draft a 4th round OG. Focus in Skill Positions in the Draft. OLB, WR, TE first 3 picks
  12. Its been mentioned many times in the past. For McDs style defense you have to have a rotation of about 7-8 guys on the Dline. DT right now we have Star and Harrison Phillips. I do see them signing Jordan Phillips and if they can sure up the interior for the next 3 years with McCoy I don't see that being a huge issue considering the importance of that rotation. But we know as well the FO doesn't make the huge splash. I don't see it happening. But I don't see it being a big Cap issue considering the nearly $90M cap space plus I see them letting Vlad and Clay go as well saving over $6M in cap space (that's Jordan Phillips contract there 4 yr $24M).
  13. I'm all for it. Grab LB Devin White in the Draft. That would allow Edmunds to move around, White can move around. Sign Shaq to 5th year. ...................................Shaq/Murphy........... McCoy/ J Phillips........... H Phillips/Star........... Hughes/Zo ..................D White/Zo..... ..........................................Edmunds/White..........................................Milano/Edmunds Wallace...............................................................................................................................................................................T White .................................................Poyer.............................................................Hyde Defense would be set!!!!
  14. I could see the Pats going after TJ Hockenson. Hockenson is the closest thing to Gronk to come out of college in nearly a decade. Truth be told this is the #1 guy I want in this years draft. Trade down out of 9 to the late teens (say 17, 18, 19), hopefully pick up a 2019 2nd, 2020 2nd and some mid round picks this year as well. TJ is the best TE all around balanced TE to come out since Gronk.
  15. Did Bobby Johnson get the same title as Castillo? OL/Run Coordinator? If not, Philbin with OC experience plus a ton of OL experience would be a great run coordinator. Who is the assistant head coach?
  16. The Bills gotta let Clay go. That being said they should sign another vet TE. I too think the Bills should Draft a TE in the first 4 rounds. i thinks Harris would be a good addition. I’d take him over Clay, that’s for sure. Id love it if the Bills traded back into the first and grabbed TJ Hockenson.
  17. He’s making $2M this year... going into FA you think he’s going to take less? And you know Buffalo has to overpay in FA. His value is roughly $2-3 M per upwards of $4M per.... guess what the Bills would have to pay. It’s a very realistic scenario. Eifert will probably be in the same ball park but he may but he may only play 50% of the games.
  18. Kansas City TE, 27 years old. Looks to have good athletic ability. Should be affordable without breaking the bank. Made nearly $2M this year. Maybe 4 year $16M deal? Pair him up with Croom and draft another.... Ive heard Max Williams name thrown out there too.
  19. Hockenson is by far the best all around TE to come out in the last few years. Funny thing is, he’s a taller more athletic Dallas Witten.
  20. Lyndstrom is going early round 2 TJ Hockenson if he declares may go late round 1, but won’t last past pick 50. Winovich will go no later than mid round 3. Right now at 9. I believe it will be Devin White Rashan Gary Ed Oliver Jeffrey Simmons Wasnt impressed by Jonah Williams against Clemson. He didn’t help his stock especially when there were talks that he had not faced a great pass rusher all year. Then he did.
  21. Dumb! What did Mahomes do his rookie year? Lets let the Bills build up a similar offense talent wise. Mahomes has so much more weapons, better OL etc, second year into the system and in his second year. This is ridiculous on so many levels!!!!
  22. Fant or Hockenson? I’d bet Hockenson gets drafted before Fant. Hockenson is all around TE, big (bigger and taller than Fant), athletic, great hands, can block. Reminds me of a quicker Gronk. If TJ declares he’ll go round 1, first TE off the board. He was the Mackey award winner for best TE in the country and his upside is huge.
  23. That’s a pretty good comparison. Not the fastest kid, doesn’t have the twitch. Bigger body and can make the tough catch. If he stays dedicated and works hard I think he may be alright. Find 3-4 routes this guy excels at and take advantage of it. I think we could see him in the slot quite a bit. Zay Jones Robert Foster 2nd or 3rd rd pick Duke Williams Isaiah McKenzie We need a TE is what we need. TJ Hockenson, Jace Sternberger, Isaac Nauta
