Who's your sleeper WR draft choice?
CEN-CAL17 replied to WideNine's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
He reminds me of AJ Green. Same height and weight. Even there mechanics and the way they run look identical. I honestly think in 2-3 years he will make a name for himself. I don’t think the kid has character issues even though he had a run in his freshman year. -
Who's your sleeper WR draft choice?
CEN-CAL17 replied to WideNine's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Kid was one of the top WR prospects in the country coming out of high school. Put up huge numbers this year. 96 receptions, like 1400 yards and 14 TDs. 2 of those games were against SEC opponents where he had like 24 receptions 225 yards and 2 TDs. Id take him in the 3rd. I think after the combine, interviews and prodays he’ll rebound. But ultimately I think he’s got 1st round talent for sure. -
Who's your sleeper WR draft choice?

Preston Williams Colorado St. I think he could be a top 5 WR in this years draft but I see him falling to late 3rd or 4th. -
I’m all in for TJ Hockenson. I bet he runs a 4.5 40 yard dash too. Round 2- Deebo Samuels, Riley Ridley or Hakeem Butler OL in FA. Get a DT and OLB rounds 3 and 4 Pick 15-20 Dude is big, fluid, can catch, block and will put up big numbers at the combine. OJ Howard went #19, this dude is better
-
Hockenson is legit. But Washington is not giving up a 1st and 2nd to move up from 15 to 9. Weeks ago posted this same scenario. Trade down with Washington and grab TJ and Butler round 2. All depends on FA. People will say TE at 15 is to high. OJ Howard went 19 and TJ is a 1 in every 10 year TE. He is the complete package

6 Potential QB coach candidates
CEN-CAL17 replied to YoloinOhio's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
True, plus Palmer has a good deal going. Especially in the offseason working for big name prospects and current players. That would be hard to walk away from knowing he could do that for the next 10 years vs gambling on McDermott and being a QB coach. Im in favor of Jerry Schuplinski. Assistant QB coach for the Patriots. Knows the system, knows and has worked with Daboll, worked and coached the best QB of all time, younger guy etc. -

What About.... Jerry Schuplinski Assistant QB coach New England Patriots. 3rd year as assistant QB coach. Brian Daboll and him were coaches there from 2013-2016. Been in the same offensive system Bills are running, worked with Brady and has probably picked his brain as much as Josh McDaniels. Been with New England for 5 years. -

Got caught up in the heat of the moment, made a super bad decision in his actions based on a woman who was saying terrible things about one of his deceased family member loved dearly, and felt he was defending her honor. Bad mistake, BAD! I do not agree with what he did. Just saying most of us have made bad decisions and done some terrible things. His just happens to be under the microscope of the NFL and was caught on tape.

Bills/Redskins Potential Trade Down
CEN-CAL17 replied to RPbillsfan's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Yeah. Why not? EJ Manuel, Blake Bortles, Paxton Lynch, Jake Locker, Johnny Manziel, Brandon Weedon, Ryan Tannehill, Blain Gabbert, Christian Ponder etc all went round 1. Dont be so dramatic that someone believes It’s possible a team likes a QB that should probably be drafted later get over drafted and trade back into round 1 to get that QB.... especially since there are quite a few teams in the top half of the draft that need a QB that may want to get BPA with their 1st pick but get back in at the end of round 1 to grab a QB. All I’m saying is that it can happen. Again look at the names above. -
Any word on Jordan Phillips New Contract offer
CEN-CAL17 replied to RPbillsfan's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
No Phillips, Bills have to draft DT at #9. Oliver or Simmons.... possibly Gray. Honestly I see all 3 gone by 8. -
Bills/Redskins Potential Trade Down

Someone has to fall in love with Murray or Lock, if not teams may sit where there are. -
Bills/Redskins Potential Trade Down
CEN-CAL17 replied to RPbillsfan's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Besides Haskins, Murray and Lock, I can see teams trading back into the first pick 20-30 to grab Jones and possibly Finley. but I see Lock and Jones being on Denver’s Radar. Jones has a lot to prove after a up and down Senior Bowl week. -

Thing is that nobody is taking into account is Josh Allen needs WRs who have a bigger catch radius. He’s not the most accurate passer. He’s not Tom Brady. Im not saying Josh couldn’t do well with Isabella just saying I don’t know enough about Isabella to say, “yep, that would be a great pick”.... Who knows... Isabella and Deebo looked similar in stature Both quick and fast, run good routes with good hands.. maybe Deebo has a bigger catch radius after watching 20 games of film. That’s a better pick right? And looking at the measurements from the Senior Bowl, Deebo has some of the biggest hands on the team, not just WR, but team. Like 2” bigger than Isabella. Deebo 10 1/8, Isabella 8 1/2. -
Right Tackle market shaping up
CEN-CAL17 replied to CaptnCoke11's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Bradbury is good. #9 pick good no way. I would bet he goes somewhere around 50. Theres got to be a reason why he hasn’t been talked about as a 1st round pick. I haven’t seen enough game film on him or know his past. But he was solid. I’d take him with our 2nd pick no problem. I just think we are gonna grab the best available WR with our 41st pick, who may just be BPA at 41 due to the depth of quality WRs. Right now im Dalton Risner Round 1 Hakeem Butler Round 2 But FA will change all that That would be a 4 yr deal at $50M. Roughly $12.5M per being Massie just got $10M per. Closer to $60M per is your #. -

Was that Wishnowsky? Utah punter? That kid can kick the ball. In warmups that kid was consistently kicking it from the 25 to inside the opposite 10 yard line like 65 yards in the air. It was impressive. In my write up I mentioned he definitely get drafted. Big kid 6’2” 220. -

Isabella is legit. From what I saw, the kid has very big legs. It’s hard to tell on TV but the kid looks strong for only being 5’9”. It’s no surprise he broke Tackles on that WR down screen for a TD. He looks like he can drag players who go high. You are definitely going to have to wrap him up. His route running is great and he does get open. He fast too, he was actually out running a lot of the deep routes, they were under thrown. -
Right Tackle market shaping up

McCoy was good. This dude was very thick lower half. Feet were ok, not the quickest, strong though. The thing that worries me is he measured at 32 inch arms. You could tell too. But he did have a good day the day I saw him. I’d just worry what JJ Watt, Suh and NFL tackles would do to expose his length. I’d say probably 5th Round pick. -
What Players are you focusing on in today's senior bowl

I’m with you 100%. It’s him as a coach and business person folks don’t like. I was hoping he didn’t go back to football cause he’s too upfront and bold. I agree, I don’t think he’ll be successful. But I also don’t think he’s a bad person. One of those... we can hang out, just can’t work with him. -

I like some of the names you got here.... from what I saw Thursday at the senior practice. Michael Deiter struggled, listed as 6’5” 304lbs lower body strength looks suspect. Got overpowered and beat often. Dru Samia same deal, tall, suspect lower body strength. Reached a lot and beat often. I may alone on this one but I wasn’t a fan of Dillard... yeah he’s quick and his strength is stopping the speed rush. I just question his length and run game ability. Looked suspect to the inside move, and a DE with a solid bull rush may hurt him. Just watched a Eagles reporter mention late 1st early second and that’s exactly what I said. Chris Lindstrom was super solid. Probably best OG at Senior Bowl. He should go top 50. Id go FA- Daryl Williams RT Draft Risner for Center, Ben Powers Oklahoma rd 3 RG. (But still get a Foster/Saffold) Dalton Risner Chris Lindstrom Garrett Bradbury Ben Powers Ross Pierschbacher (was solid, not as good as Bradbury but solid I think Bradbury is a late 2nd early 3rd and Ross is a mid late 3rd.) Jonah Williams I think is solid, just not sold on Jawaan Taylor (let’s nit forget a RT), Greg Little (don’t trust effort), or Andre Dillard for reasons above. That being said, gotta get Juwaan James or Daryl Williams. I think the OTs in the draft suck, except I would mind Risner at RT even though I think he could be an all pro center, seriously. Get your interior OL in the draft, they are solid rounds 2-3. Trading down a few spots to grab Risner as future center, plus getting an extra 3rd and maybe 5th or 6th.... great! Go get another interior OL with that 3rd. -

Nah, this was downtown Phoenix. It was at wine bar. We spent about an hour in there. It was him, a couple of his buddy’s, and that’s actually Suzy Kulbers head behind mine. I remember, it was a Saturday night and Notre Dame was playing USC that night. I’m military and that’s all he wanted to talk about was what myself and my friends did in the military. He said he loves that stuff. We talked military and watched the game. I asked if I could hold his ring he was all about it, then the pic happened. -
Senior Bowl- Day 3 A Bills fan first hand take
CEN-CAL17 replied to CEN-CAL17's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
During warmups He warmer up with Daniel Jones and Ryan Finley. No bad exchanges, shotgun was good. Did about 10 mins worth of work. He’s solid looking. He was lined up next to all the other centers and he was the biggest and most solid looking. Everything I’ve read on Risner is he is very smart, processes things fast. Combine that with the fire and leadership.... Id expect every workout he performs teams will put him over the ball and do the x’s and o’s On the whiteboard. -

Bradbury is legit, but I think Risner has the fire attitude and vocal leadership to excel at C.... I just think his athleticism kept him at RT. I mentioned before in this thread how Risner is the guy that gets that last shove just after the whistle. That’s why him and Zach Allen got in a fight. Risner kicked his asss all day and Allen wasn’t taking that last shove again. I love it! -

Yeah I think James made $8M this year.... I’d expect at least $10 per. Closer to $12M per....4 yr $45M
