sal c. has a cool article on wgr550.com showing how a trade to 5 or higher is possible while still having no.22. then there are scenarios that could be dream' t up including picks and players such as taylor and glenn. then again, free agency moves, ie. cousins and/or trades with a.smith, mc carron, minny x3, etc. could change the entire landscape of the draft. maybe they feel good going with peterman and whatever falls to them, who knows. it's going to be an exciting spring that's for sure.

i find it unbelievable how far some of you will go to discredit and put peterman down. did you do tt's scouting report as well? the fact is nate will be on this team next year, tyrod won't. i hope they can get something for him trade wise, but if a deal can't be lined up, they won't pay the bonus. peterman as it stands right now, is the no.1 qb. i don't know what moves will be made but tyrod will not be starting for this team next year. you guys can hate on nate all you want, but right now he's no. 1 in line.

i for one...and maybe the only one, enjoy your posts. i have been a fan for 44 yrs. so i've seen a few qbs here....and a lot of them this team has ruined. however, i believe with a solid draft and some good fa moves, i think nate can give us a geoff like performance and at least a 10-6 season after a full camp and preseason. do i think they want or should get a vet? i guess but i think peterman can match alex smith without the loss of assets. sam bradford?...ok but again, it's gonna cost and with his injury history?... josh mc cown for cheap...no unless he's a backup. i'd be fine if they pulled a deal for foles or mc carron...or maybe even luck. i can't see them braking the bank for cousins. we do need to draft a qb ,but who and where and how much? i would not be scared to roll with peterman and one or two rookies behind him. i think that's why the ken dorsey thing makes sense. like i said, maximize our picks, do good in fa and nate can get us to 10-6 or better. if this past season would have been his second, he would have beat out tyrod for the starting job. if you stop to think about it, (remembering gruden's assessment of np last year prior to the draft), i wonder where he would rank among this current class. these are all my observations and gut feelings , so i don't care if i get flamed.

i don't care about any coaching move more than getting rid of castillo.

Mayfield may not play in Senior Bowl

that's why i hated marino. his release was so fast he was almost impossible to sack. -
rudolph and washington sounds good, but so does mayfield and finley....peterman and jones a bit more realistic...

trust the process, we are building young and through the draft. therefore, peterman, rudolph and kelly. utilize all of our picks. sign a few fa's.
-
i can't believe the stupidity in this thread. foles is better than any qb we've had since bledsoe if not kelly.....but some people just have to cling to the horrible season with the rams....and claim it's a system...he has a good team....bla,bla,bla. well if he wins the sb, how many nfl records or rankings will he have?....and he came off the bench a few games ago? some people here are either extremely jealous or brain dead.

well we will get to maybe see clear evidence of that this game because they are going to have to hold fletcher cox. they will move him around that line so much it's not just gonna be solder and maybe some help. if there's ever a display of non-calls on holding it will be clearly evident in this game.

we need two good dts for sure -
a smart(cerebral) qb with throwing skills = an nfl qb . tt got us nowhere. that running/qb thing may have worked 20 yrs. ago, but it ain't gonna work anymore. that term certainly cannot be mixed with the term franchise qb.

Bills 2018 Mock Draft Watch
billsredneck1 replied to 26CornerBlitz's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
the only problem with this is that, cousins could have been had 3 years ago....or for that matter...the year he was drafted. this org. has sat on it's thumbs and passed up several franchise qbs and here we are arguing over one of them we now can't afford. screw it, let's start young and build through the "process". let's take rudolph with 21...fleece denver for a 2nd, 3rd and chad kelly for 22 with josh allen still on the board and go into camp with peterman ...who in his second season could give us a geoff like performance and have a young stable of hungry ,potential filled qbs. the reason we are talking about jimmy g....cousins and the likes of derek carr is because we screwed the pooch in the draft for the last umpteen years. how about we realize what we have in peterman then draft and obtain some young guns and roll with it. i'd rather roll with nate to get us to 10-6 vs. giving up assets and captial for an alex smith for the same results. i think if we are smart we make the most of this draft and go forward. -
Would the Browns be a trade partner at #4?
billsredneck1 replied to Jerry Jabber's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
i think we could get there with no. 21, next years 1st and a combo of tt and or glenn. i'd eat the 6mil. bonus on tt if it was gonna get a trade done. then we get baker mayfield.
