i think we will have to get to 5 no matter what for mayfield because i would bet indy will move out of 3. darnold and rosen will be gone. i would rather have mayfield then allen and i think he'll be the 3rd qb taken.

i was just going to start with this. i would trade tt and a 2nd for foles. i would take vita vea at 21. then i would take rudolph at 22. no matter which way they go about drafting a qb, just get foles. he is not going to stay in philly. they owe it to him to let him go make some money and start somewhere. they also can't afford to bump his salary and pay wentz at the same time. my next thought would be tt and a 3rd to cincy for mc carron unless he becomes a fa. another idea may be tt to denver for a 4th and chad kelly. we get a pick and a young gun in the stable. obviously, we still draft one and look for a vet. (unless of course they get cousins) these are just the first 3 ideas that i could think of where we could actually get something in a trade of tt. however, i could see them making a move for mayfield (which would blow my mind) and then hire a ken dorsey for qb coach and rolling with nate until mayfield's ready. i'm willing to bet they do something where we will say...wow didn't see that coming. no matter what i'm stoked for the next couple of months.

a better qb won't make the oline suck after having to block for 6 seconds every time.

which is why after tb gets another ring, they should let foles go be a starter somewhere.....and that somewhere should be buffalo. he's going to deserve 20 mil. and someone's going to get him. i pray to god it's us.

well, if you all think mc d's a dumbass, go watch kc and mahomes trail the rest of the afcw next year....including a cousins lead denver. they will be lucky to not get curbstomped by the chargers twice. the big story next year will be andy reid being on the coaching hotseat and hindsight, should have not made the trade....bla,bla,bla.

i don't remember watson or mahommes getting more hype than darnold , rosen , mayfield or allen are this year. maybe he can correct his monumental error while in possession of more quality picks than this team has had in forever....

i voted other. i don't think cousins will be here. so...after the pats win the sb, i'm gonna trade no. 22 for nick foles. then draft vita vea at 21. maximize the draft and grab qb a little later. (mike white?) but...if cousins goes to denver and somehow darnold, 1.(cle.) rosen 2. (giants)and allen 3.-to the jets with the thought that they like allen's potential and can keep mc cown as a bridge. i think bradford is a good possibiliy to az. in fa, so maybe mayfield slides. i just hate the thought of giving up all our picks. i give this a high percentage of happening.

i guess this was what i was thinking of. i don't see them franchising him , but then again, finding a way for getting compensation should some team load a contract that they can't afford. why wouldn't they do this? the same has been said about jimmy g. in other articles.

but the transition tag (which is what they will do) won't require both of this year's 1sts. one this year, one next year. however, we do have glenn and tt to play let's make a deal. this should put us in the best spot among the competition. i think washington may become buffalo's bff. if not there's always philly...foles

two things i see here. 1. cousins gets the transition tag, because the redskins get two 1st rounders if they can't match? 2. the bills give tt the 6 mil . bonus in a preconceived trade deal to lesson the burden on the new team....or hedge their bets with a trade partner at draft time.

if byrd is replaced by butler, does that mean it's mcd's call or frazier's call? don't head coaches usually let the dc/od coordinators build their staff? i liked byrd as a player( which is something i'm sure a lot of members did not know ...and he sure seemed to have done a good job here), but whose decision was it?

lol...i think with a second off season...and i know i've said all this before in other threads....but i think this kid has the smarts and that's the no. 1 quality of a qb. maybe he's a fitz, maybe he's an alex smith....which is why i'd rather not pay a lot to get smith....maybe he turns out to be a playoff caliber starter. i believe if this last year had been his second season and he started all 16, we would have been 10-6. i would prefer we get foles over anyone, but i'm also ok with them feeling they can roll with nate and a rookie. i hate to see them toss draft picks to move up because it will take a ton to move up.

bringing in ken dorsey as qb coach would be a sign that maybe they do that. i for one am ok with that as i think they can have at the very least, a more successful offensive output then last year. i think a second off season and camp will show a big step forward for nate.....jmo all i know is that it's going to be one of the most exciting off seasons i've seen in years.

i would prefer vea 21 then davenport22. i'd also like to hope that adolphus takes a step up with vea next to him. i like shaq on the end but could work the rookie in on passing downs. better dline play instantly improves our lbs. maybe lb can be addressed in fa. i would probably also take rudolph and washington with the second round picks then fill out with bpa oline, db and running back.
