  1. he will be gone no later than june 1st. i believe he will either be 1. part of a trade package....2. a trade for a pick...or 3. flat out cut...in that order. they know peterman would take the job from him in camp if it were a comp. between the 2. they aren't gonna pay tyrod one penny past the bonus.
  2. mason rudolph and it should not even be a question at 21/22..the pick is in.
  3. nathan peterman will be between alex smith and a. rodgers.....any takers? give the kid a chance. he will turn heads in july and august! with last year's defense and shady he will easily get us 10-6. we are gonna rock this year!
  4. i would rather have 2 good dt's than worry so much about ilb. i would want vea or payne with phillips. everyone wants to throw the leagues leading tackler and captain of this defense to the curb while turning a blind eye to the fact our lb's would have looked much better if the front 4 weren't getting rolled. losing marcel made that clear. posting s.a.smith and no suggestion....substantive....and revealing
  5. wow, take it in a heartbeat.....and we could still add one later on like riley ferguson...or a chad kelly. i think we would be fine starting peterman. if we have a healthy receiving corp with one good addition be it fa or draft.....and stud up our dline, we will look much better than last year. i'm stoked.
  6. and how ironic that foles and keenum who both suck because of their record with the rams faced off in the nfc championship game.
  7. i would try a 2nd and 4th this year along with tyrod. tt could be ok for them and maybe not cost any more, or very little. i know foles is under contract, but they gotta give him a bump somehow. i know he's a straight up guy, but a sb mvp could use a raise and philly will understand that they need to give him his shot to shine elswhere. i would like to believe that there is some integrity left in this league. does anyone think that bb had to let jimmy g go for a 2nd to san fran? they did that for him and for his career.
  8. i love the way some of you guys bad mouth the sb mvp. after having tyrod under center for the last 3 yrs., my advice to anyone who wants to tear down any other qb who may be available is....just shut up...... or at least do a little research ...such as foles in k.c 2016 36-55 65.5% 410 yds. 3td 0 int. 105.9 rating
  9. over 40 games started....extremely smart....good pedigree... perfect size...experience under center....improved every year...johnny unitas award...almost 14k career passing yards...37-9 td/int. ratio as a SENIOR. he will be the next jimmy g for the pats. unless we make a monumental move in fa/trade or move up for rosen or mayfield, he is a MUST pick at 21/22. it's a no brainer and only whaley would pass on this. mcbeane or mcwhaley......in the words of nfl old fart...stay tuned......
  10. .....and with him in denver, the teams in that division will be beating the hell out of each other and hopefully keeping a wildcard spot open
  11. and schein has the jets signing teddy to boot......oh the mchorror!!!! thanks from chili!
  12. well if they do draft darnold, i would bet money a.j. won't sign with them. it would be a good time though for the bills to offer both firsts and tt for their bridge, for no. 4. if the bills are serious about qb....they get rosen or mayfield. i would prefer 1. foles 2. a.j. 3. mayfield 4. if stuck at 21/22 take rudolph. i am sure they have strategies for a number of possible scenarios.
  13. i would out bid the browns for mc carron and give him a 3-4 yr. deal. why would he want to go somewhere and be a one yr. bridge. he just fought to get out from behind dalton. going to the browns to play until darnold is ready would be like a kick in the nuts. welcome to buffalo a.j.!
  14. lol i'm with you. if i'm sitting there and jackson is the last suggested 1st rounder, i'm trading that spot for picks and taking rudolph. if they pick lamar in the 1st, i will have a mcflashback. it would be such a mcwhaley pick. it would set this team back 3 mcyears. .....and if eating my underwear is what it takes, i will start wearing them pronto.
  15. then don't draft a qb in round 1.
  16. ok...ej manual had all the tools but needed some time to work on things. tt sat behind flacco for a few years and got his shot....he just needed to refine a couple of things in his game...see also 3oc's. lamar has dazzling physical ability, but needs some work. is any one person saying he is a rd.1/day one starter?....ummm no, yet again another qb that can run but is a project that needs to work on the qb thing. i this team takes him in rd.1, they deserve to suck for another 3 yrs. good luck with that.
  17. i don't get it. what does he bring to the table besides age....too much money and as close to a tolbert skillset as you can get. i just don't get it. we probably could get twice as much out of cadet or murphy. i'm lost on this one. i've never thought much of this guy.....for instance, if shady tweeks a hammy....we got ivory....ooooohhhh good move. thumbs(both) down on this move. what's next? a 5th rd. qb pick to compete with nate for no. 2 and josh mc cown starting?
  18. i couldn't agree more! i don't get posters slamming him... such as he's done nothing in multiple stops. he's been on 3 friggin teams, one of which was qb hell the rams and then he backed up alex smith in k.c where he played very well...... ......but coming off the bench late in the season others point out that he sucked the first couple of games. people are so fast to find anything negative to say about a guy that just gunned down min., then the pats and was superbowl mvp.....oh that was just luck. we haven't had a qb anything like him since kelly. we should damn sure offer a 1st because he is that good and he could lead this team easily for at least 5 yrs. he's a perfect mcfit here. i'll tell you what, whoever gets him is going to go to the playoffs.
  19. i'm not so sure about this yet. he would be putting himself in between rodgers and stafford. if he has bumps and doesn't get the in the playoffs right off the bat and every year, he's gonna look like a stink pickle. i'm hoping cle. or denver. as to the rest of your post, i agree, we could be s. o. l. after pick no.6
  20. my biggest hope would be to get either foles or a.j. if it's a.j. .... rd.1 vita vea and hurst or payne rd.2 harrison phillipps billy price rd 3 bpa speed wr rd 4 bpa rb rd 5 riley ferguson bpa ot
  21. getting foles would be a dream come true...for me. if i had to i'd gladly give up 22.
  22. i would like to think that a.j. would prefer to come to buffalo on a 3-4 yr. well paid contract as the undisputed starter vs. going to cleveland on a short deal with someone like darnold behind him. if we could sign a.j. and get two monsters for the dline, we could go into the 2nd round get billy price and a good edge/lb. we could go into the 3rd and grab mike white or.....whoever and a speedy wr. go into the 4th get the rb. rd. 5 bpa x2 then in fa all we need is norwell and re sign gaines. i would be in heaven
  23. i personally don't think any rookie should be a day one starter.
  24. it would make the most sense for the browns. they have tt on a one year 10mil deal while darnold sits and.... tyrod would give them a chance to go .500 or maybe better in their division. that has to be the no.1 goal for them. them playing pitt/cincy and baltimore is like facing the pats 6 times every year. the op's deal would be perfect for the browns. we get mayfield.
  25. i can't see how the giants would not put rosen behind manning.
