  1. i think it's out of their hands if the browns keep the 4th pick. if mayfield...assuming the other 3 are gone, makes it to 6 then we move and it won't kill us. we should be able to use 12 and a pick from next year...hopefully. my second choice is rudolph and i hope the fins don't screw us at 11. i would have no problem taking him at 12. BTW i predicted on march 10 that we would sign a.j. i also predicted in that post that our qb lineup would be a.j. / nate / rudolph. while i love mayfield above all the others, i'm getting the feeling that we will not sacrifice all the goods it will take to move up far enough and/or someone will jump us with an outrageously foolish package. that being said, i see rudolph at 6'5" with all his accomplishments being the fit for this f.o.
  2. i started on bbmb in 04 when we had drew bledsack. after a year on here, it seems like 50% of the posters i recognize from that board. some kept their name and some did not although after all that time i can tell who they are/were. anywho, i've gotten used to it here. i am so addicted to the bills and this site, i probably spend way too much time on here....no, i'm sure i do. i also apologize for never having mastered the use of the caps button on my 10 yr. old laptop.
  3. this is where i would put my money if i had to pick a most likely scenario. i would flip!!!!....especially if vea is there at 22! wow
  4. i would like to believe that come draft night philly will be open to business and we are in a better spot for him than we are for the no2....unknown pick. we are in the best spot of any team to make a deal for foles. i think there's a plan in place depending on how the draft falls. i will be sick if they give up what is proposed to the giants. the things we could do with this roster, this year in the draft will never happen again...or any time soon. i think a.j. has all the goods. i would love foles, but having a.j. signed we would be stupid to bend over and give up all our picks. no one knows anything about the future of any of these qbs. there is no andrew luck. we have a qb right now with 2 college championships and nfl experience, who should have won a playoff game against the steelers. the 49ners don't have that! why give up the farm?
  5. it could be such a qb feeding frenzy that we may not have any choice but sit tight. my biggest concern is miami taking rudolph at 11. i just have a feeling they are going to screw us somehow. 1. darnold 2. rosen 3. allen 4. let's say the browns do not want to trade out and take barkly or chubb 5. mayfield denver will not trade out. 6. at this point what? you still have az. maybe looking to move up and miami. either one of these teams could be targeting jackson or rudolph. i have no idea how this draft will play out and am sure i will be surprised a lot. i absolutely do not want to give everything away for no. 2. if we could use a pick or 2 from next year to maybe hop to 8 and then to 4, that would be great, but i believe what i have heard from beane. this year they want to build thru the draft and next year they can spend some money on free agents. there's no way we get to no. 4...or even no.6 without trading twice. if we do get stuck at 12 and these qbs come off like i listed above, i would take rudolph and be done with it. we may even have to hop miami to do it. i know this all may, or probably won't go this way, but in this case, i would rather take rudolph then give away everything.
  6. i'm not a participant but imho....H.E.L.L. N.O. now go take your rb and move along.
  7. it seems like now he wants to stand out and be noticed. it seems like he has to throw something in the face of commonsense every so often. i sure wouldn't use his advice to bet.
  8. i think baker is champ or bust...rudolph, at least good...possibly great tom brady improved his arm strength, so that can be done this is why i think they may need to take him at 12 if there is a feeding frenzy early. i would be scared to get jumped at 22.
  9. in that case you know allen is going to denver so that puts baker into play....btw. i don't think rosen has any more than josh mc cown. i wouldn't be scared of him in ny. i certainly won;t complain if we take rudolph and keep our picks unless of course mayfield falls.
  10. i would love baker, but it's out of our control at this point. we have no say over 1-3...and 4, which leaves denver. if somehow he makes it to 6 then it's a different ball game. i do not want to trade picks away. i would rather use next year's due to having money for fa. i think plan 1b....and it's the safe route, is rudolph. i'm not too worried tho. i think a.j.'s gonna be a stud.
  11. mayfield and mason check the boxes,,,,
  12. a.j could be....i think, will be a star!
  13. nice snappy release. this guy's gonna be great!
  14. i'm hoping if mayfield falls to 4, i would give cleveland next year's 1st. (don't laugh...it would serve them well). we get him, keep all our picks and mcfo nails it. a.j. has a kick ass year and next year have a qb comp.....plus maybe have a huge trade asset.....or a well established 1/2 /3 qb corp.
  15. H.E.L.L. N.O. that and giving up the picks just makes us a bigger ankle grabbing beyatch than the jets.
  16. but 22 doesn't make me feel real safe. i could see a team like the steelers or pats coming up to bone us. it wouldn't surprise me. i hope the bills don't fall for jackson.
  17. if i were them i would take darnold and barkley. with tyrod and those 2 backs, that should really help until darnold's ready...plus they have a ton of picks to bolster their roster elsewhere. if mayfield gets taken by the jets, i 'm sitting at 12. if there's a feeding frenzy going on, i take rudolph at 12. if it looks like we can get him at 22 for sure, i wait. yep i agree and maybe us fans should ask....if a.j. was in this draft class, where would he be ranked among these qbs? two national champs, huge competitor, humble and has actually played in an nfl playoff game. we do not need to sell the farm for any of these guys. like me some baker, but will be fine with rudolph at 22.
  18. especially since we got a.j. signed for two yrs. who might just turn out to be franchise material. i think allen will need 2yrs. but could pay off big. at no.12, that's ok, thanks to rookie contracts. moving up for him....ummmm no.
  19. if we can't get baker, i def. want rudolph at 22. i hadn't thought about ridley at 12....interesting....
  20. ditto....there's 5 minutes i'll never get back....
  21. yep he sucks....especially if he drafts that bell guy
  22. NASSIB AT 8!!!!! i remember...although there were more cries for WE MUST DRAFT GENO!!! how about 12? i think the giants take barkley and would be stupid not to, if they want a dynamic weapon to pair with odb. don't forget , they pick high in the 2nd and 3rd. we just need the jets to take rosen or allen. i don't think rosen has the stones or desire for buffalo. if baker falls to 4, nothing will stop us..
  23. i would not spend to go to 2...f that. if he makes it to 4 we already have a deal in place. if the jets take him, we're stuck so... plan b rudolph....
  24. our only shot is if he makes it to no.4. i think that tyrod trade set us up for a deal if things fall that way.... 1. darnold 2. barkely 3.rosen 4. bills trade 2019 1st for mayfield. we get to keep our picks this year. done
