  1. would youz guyz just take a deep breath and relax?....sheesh. when was the last time wood went to a probowl? btw, who knew he was out when groy had to step in? bodine =wood easily groy can slide to left guard and keep dawkins at ease. miller can reclaim his spot and for those who don't know, he battled a lot of personal tragedies at the start of his career. m. newhouse is far better than mills ...case closed. if connor mc dermott grows and we draft a couple of hopefulls, like wynn/ hernandez/ragnow, we will be fine. most importantly, a lot of people seem to forget that tyrod needed pass pro for 5-6 seconds opposed to the average 3 of an nfl quality qb....so there's that.....calm down, we wlll be fine. with the vet experience of bodine, groy and newhouse, it's not like we have to start all over with a bunch of rookies just because iggy's gone.
  2. 12/65 and a 2nd next year....already a done deal with the browns for no. 4...a preliminary deal set up at the tyrod trade. then, we give a 2nd and a 3rd for no.2....that leaves us 22, 1 2nd and 1 3rd......etc (something along these lines) these guys dorsey /gettleman and beane already have this stuff worked out and i don't doubt it for a minute. you think guys that worked as partners in the same office prior , along with long time connections, aren't having open no b.s conversations? i don't....
  3. so, bodine started every game for the bengals since he was drafted....so he's a bum? newhouse is better than mills by a mile... and why can't john miller road grade like he did when he was a rookie...and why can't groy go to lg? sure we need to draft some...but i think people need to do some research before freaking out. do you think they brought these guys in because they were homeless or something?
  4. i don't see any need to panic. dawkins / groy / bodine /miller/ newhouse .... plus what's up with connor mcdermott? we also have the draft. we will be fine if not better.
  5. ....and if he get's tweeked by every tweet, that ny media is gonna mess him up bad.
  6. in one of my posts here i outlined a trade to 4 and why. if we can get there, we should be able to take mayfield. i like rosen but just don't think his heart will be in it in buffalo. i don't see the jets drafting mayfield. i think the media and big city would do more damage than good. i'm willing to bet they take rosen or allen. well in that case, as i replied to the other post, if we are sitting at 4 and the browns take darnold, the giants might go ahead and move down 2 spots for a 2nd and a 3rd. we jump the jets.
  7. i think if they, (i would), trade12 and next year's 1st to go to no. 4....now. if we lock that 4 spot up not only does it give us one of the top four qbs, (and possibly a choice between 2), but also keeps anyone from having a better chance to get to 2. then come draft night depending on what the browns do and what gettleman wants to do,we could use a 2nd and 3rd to get ahead of the jets. i myself would be ok with taking rudolph or allen at 12....assuming the top 4 are gone, but if they want to take their shot, the above is what i would do. it may be the best strategy because if the top 4 come off in the first 5 picks, we are going to have to deal with az. moving up and miami in front of us forcing us to trade assets anyway. no way in hell do i give all that up.....especially for allen.
  8. i don't see denver passing up on josh allen. that being said, let's say the browns surprise and take baker or rosen.... basically anyone but darnold, so it could go rosen, darnold and mayfield or mayfield rosen, baker, who knows, but if this leaves allen at 5 denver will take him having keenum. he would be perfect for denver. this would leave us scrambling for rudolph or we just settle for the second round. jackson will not be a bill.
  9. this would be great...but if the giants take a qb, we could be screwed....hence the rudolph conversations.
  10. i agree 100% however we may not be able to sit at 12 if rudolph is the only one to make past pick 6. we have to worry about az coming up from 15 and we have the dolphins a pick in front of us and i don't trust them being all in with tannehill long term. even if we have to move to say, 9 for him, i would do it. we still would have plenty of picks and 22 would still be in play to move around up or down to gain another 2nd and 3rd. there are plenty of starters in 2 and 3.
  11. this i think is the best idea or strategy possible.
  12. it doesn't matter who we draft, a.j. is gonna ball us into the playoffs and then in 2019 we can have a competition..... which is a good thing....we haven't been in this situation in years. our 2018 lineup...a.j. /peterman/rudolph it's gonna be an exciting year! and you know what?...if this fo feels they are in good shape with a.j. and nate, and they take someone like white, i will trust them. i would like to use as many picks as possible. it's so hard not to keep flip flopping on the issue, i'm gonna go nuts. wish i could wake up tomorrow and have it be draft day....sheesh
  13. but....teams are also considering the benefit of the 5th yr. option in rd.1.
  14. i think the coolest thing would be the browns to take jackson, so they have that 1/2 punch with tt!
  15. this is really giving me anxiety problems....but i can't stop reading/listening/watching/waiting.....
  16. i've posted this in another thread ,but i don't think he makes it past az. at 15. i'd be holding my breath when miami picks at 11. sometimes i way overestimate how fast these guys come off and i'm praying it's one of those years.
  17. i'd have a mess to clean up if this happens. while it would be nice to land baker, it may be impossible.
  18. not only do we need to grab him at 12(assuming there's a feeding frenzy early...as in the giants also take a qb), but we have to worry about miami in front of us or az. coming up from 15. it could get ugly.
  19. it will be easy to, if the goal is to move us out of a spot so that team can get the qb that we're too stupid to take when we can.
  20. two things are certain. he can't be any worse than dennison and ajm won't be any worse than tyrod. i'll take it.
  21. i can't believe they hired that supposed douchebag instead of hiring you...the real douchebag.
  22. i remember that draft year very well and actually was on the side of leaf. in the back of my mind was ...yeah..archie's son, he's got the name. mason rudolph probably almost mirrors manning's profile as far as abilities. i think that's what he could potentially become....and he doesn't have to be a day one starter.
  23. that would be a dream come true but if cincy didn't take vea, i would be on it.
  24. wow not bad... like this one better.
  25. ahh texas....where men are men...and sheep are nervous....
