  1. woops mybad, don't know what i was thinking.
  2. very interesting. i can't wait to see who takes that spot. i really think (if they gel rather quickly and not play musical chairs like last year), that we could end up having a very good line. it could go dawkins / teller / bodine / groy / newhouse and we could be very solid, or at least much better in pass pro. the combo of ducasse / mills killed that last year and with bosa's remarks after the la game, mills should have never taken a snap at rt. the big plus is dennison is gone. i still don't get the love for juan.
  3. i agree with everything except i think we get outscored in one of the 1st 2 games and most likely the opener at balt. i sure hope it's not la, but the first game might be the game to break our new guys in, so i'm going 11-5. i also think the pats slip a bit and we tie records, with them getting the tie breaker by having beat either gb or minny as the common opponent thing. we host a wildcard game against a team from the afc west. 11-5?
  4. wow! i'd like to hear more...
  5. ok, i have had some paralegal training , but i'm still a bit lost with what you're saying. is that like coc or something?
  6. i think this is what's gonna happen. with a fast release, accurate qb, a nobody could shine. we are just so used to a crappy passing game that i think we don't get to see what some of these guys are capable of. i will say right now that our wr corp will not look like it does on ...paper...come mid season. think about all the turnover the pats have been through and somehow brady turns a former...fill in the blank...from a team and makes them have career seasons. welker, moss, amendola ,hogan, edelman. how many of these guys came from other teams and made it big. we could end up with a respectable group if a.j and them have a good camp. i'm stoked.....mainly because of our defense but for once when we get a turnover, i shouldn't have to expect a 3 and out.
  7. two guys are definitely gonna ball out on offense...other than shady that's, no.1..a.j. he's a two time national champ and wants badly to make a name for himself. i believe he has the goods to be in the top 12. kb...is in a contract year where he can either command big money in the future or get the title of has been. i'm not taking anything away from the rest of the team, but since the convo is about offense, this is what i think. ppg way up ypg way up i believe we can go from 31st in passing to 15 or better. we don't need one or two hall of fame types. we just need zay, kb, o'leary and clay along with holmes and streeter to make this thing go. i really hope we have hogan 2.0 in reilly, maybe a james lofton in dupri and who knows about the ufdas. robert foster who daboll coached, i think makes the team. he can boogie. edit: sorry i quoted the whole thing...wasn't thinking.
  8. that's it...hate him.... no really, he's gonna be a beast, i love it. he will not only eat super chunky blue, but will eat nuclear wings.
  9. i'd like to add to that, that i would love to see a.j. start and have an established timing game ingrained with kb, zane, kerley, riley and holmes. i would like to see some progression from reilly, dupri and foster. i think this staff will mold together a solid unit that nobody saw coming. if you gave these guys to the pats, you would all be saying, don't worry, he'll (brady ) make them stars. btw between dupri and foster i see 1 james lofton.
  10. i'm not going through all the posts, but when i saw roughly 4:30, i figure this guy only has to run the fly route. i don't know what all the dissection is about, but don't sleep on robert foster who posted a 4:31 in 2016 and btw, i think daboll knows him. all we need is one deep threat and quite honestly, i think zay will fill that slippery outside role while kerley and reilly man the slot.....if we were to stand pat.
  11. but then during and after next season...after we hosted a wc game, that the only reason the bills record and qb stats were so much better is because tyrod is in a tougher division, yadda, yadda, yadda. i can hear it already....lol
  12. this is what i don't get. what did we lose?....ok, a great lg who was probably only gonna be here 1 more year...and apparently, last i checked was retired by his own words. we lost an average center and with bodine being younger, i'll call that a wash. we lost deonte thompson which sucks, but, well it was deonte thompson. ok, who am i forgetting that we lost that will send our offense backwards? tyrod..no tolbert?...no dennison?....no....which reminds me... we have a new oc that has spent quite a bit of time with belichek, just oc'd a college championship (with i believe, a fast wr named foster).. and seems like a bright younger guy who will scheme to his players and not the other way around. i'd feel safe to say he is better than rico. i'd also like to note that our wrs should be 100% healthy, not to mention, we didn't start out with kb last year. we also have a qb who is capable of resembling an actual nfl qb so, i'll call that a plus. so again i ask what did we lose on offense that has supposedly sent us into the abyss?
  13. i would rather groy at guard than vlad. isn't lg miller's natural position?
  14. i'm intrigued by this guy. i don't think he managed getting up to where he was expected. may be a good fit for the bills. he's from central pa. he's 6'2" 194 and ran a 4:41 40 at the combine. however as a junior he is listed as having ran a 4:31 40 and the deep ball is supposed to be his gig.
  15. i was trying to find them on the bills site so i could do more research but had no luck. other than the 1st and last, i think they all stick around. i want to do more research on foster....gotta feelimg.
  16. i wouldn't poopoo the oline just yet. i know it takes time to jell, but if we went dawkins, groy or teller, bodine, miller, newhouse.. we could be fine. i don't think groy will be a huge drop off and may be even slightly above average and i think bodine/wood is a wash. newhouse should be an upgrade at rt.
  17. i'm sure the teams aren't afraid thing is popular opinion and hopefully that gets us a win against balt., la, minn. or gb in the start of the season. they can run the 2 minute and shred them with the 10-20 timing routes. hopefully that defensive mind set gives us an early advantage.
  18. i haven't heard a word about him in quite a while and i listen to the bills talk everyday. (wgr and 950)
  19. well it will get better. teams will not be able to stack the box and make our qb play qb. ....or they will get burned.
  20. the smart bet is that our passing game is going to greatly improve. WE WERE 14 YDS. FROM BEING LAST IN THE LEAGUE IN PASSING YARDS. I would like for someone to convince me that with a.j., it can be worse.
  21. i hadn't thought about that lately...since drafting teller. i guess i wouldn't be surprised if richie showed up around july, but i'm ready to move on. this was likely his last year here anyway. we were gonna face this turnover starting next year, but i think it will work out better going through it this year.
  22. ...and tyrod was a 6th round talent with backup ability. last year we were 31st in passing yards. 14 more yards than last place chicago. we were also around 24th in the no. of tds thrown. we threw for one more yd. per game than chicago or we would have been last in that. 100 passing yds. per game less than the top tier teams. i for one am excited to see this new offense and i would bet we do not see 3 point games....or games with under 100 yds passing. we had one with 56. think about that for a moment....and in the biggest game in 18 years we could not score over 3 pts. those days are over and it's a great time to be a bills fan. i'm lovin it.
